Delivery schedules in SA(LPA)

Gurus,
I have created a LPA scheduling agreement and generated JIT schedule lines with Firm and Tradeoff zones through MRP.
Now, I want to release them manually.
could anyone let me know how these have to be released and sent to vendor with all the information about the zones.
I would really appreciate your help in this regard.
Cheers
Mittu G

Hi
You can create the SA release using transaction ME84.
Use transaction ME35L for approving/releasing the scheduling agreement.
For SA releases to be transmitted as messages to the vendor, the following settings must be made in Customizing for Purchasing:
Releases (Message Determination) at Item Level
In order for a separate message to be generated for each SA release (i.e. per scheduling agreement item and release type), you must set the Release message indicator in Customizing for Purchasing under
Define Message Schemas for SA Release/Expediter - > Assign Schema: SA Release/Expediter.
If you do not select the Release message indicator, the messages will be generated at header level. You can then view the messages under
Header->  Messages.
If you select the Release message indicator, the messages will be generated at item level. The messages generated are listed in the release documentation.
If you have initially not selected the indicator, messages will be generated at header level. If you select the Release message indicator at a later point in time, you will find the newly generated messages in the release documentation. You will still find the already generated messages under Header ->Messages.
Define "Main Message Type"
You must designate just one message type as the "main message type" for each SA release type (FRC or JIT delivery schedule) in Customizing for Purchasing, and set the indicator A (update print-dependent data) for this message type.
This means that when an SA release with the "main message type" is outputted, the print-dependent data is updated in the SA item, the SA releases, and the delivery schedule lines. Only if an SA release is outputted with the main message type is it taken into account in the current stock/requirements list, for example.
You set this indicator using the fine-tuned control facility for the message type.
In the case of scheduling agreements with release documentation (document type LPA), the message types LPH1 and LPJ1 are used for forecast delivery schedules and JIT delivery schedules respectively in the standard system.
In the case of scheduling agreements without release documentation (document type LP), the message type LPET is used in the standard system. In this case, no release is created. Instead, the message is generated as soon as the scheduling agreement delivery schedule (specifying the scheduled quantity) is created or changed.
Outputting Releases in the Main Message Type
All releases must always be created with the main message type because the system will otherwise not update the print-dependent data. This is particularly important if you are working with different message types.
You send SA releases to the vendor with the main message type LPH1. You provide the forwarder or carrier with a copy (message type LPH2) and create a printout for your own files (message type LPH3).
If you send SA releases to the majority of your vendors as printouts (i.e. in hardcopy form) and have an EDI arrangement with just a few of them, you can create message records for the main message type:
At document type level with the transmission medium "Print", and
At vendor/purchasing organization/EDI level with the transmission medium "EDI" for the EDI vendors.
Do not set the change indicator in the message overview. A set indicator has no effect in the case of scheduling agreement releases. As a general rule, the system outputs all releases that have not yet been transmitted.

  • Scheduling Agreements / Delivery Schedule / Firm zone, Trade zone

    Dear all.
I am in the process of setting up scheduling agreements (LPA type) with firm zone and trade zone in SAP 4.5b
    The following issues  I have:
1.) with the release via ME84, it gives me an error 'no processing message ME 857, no message record found'.
As far as I know the customizing is correct. Can some one give a tip about what I maybe have forgotten?
2.) I am also using the firm and trade zone, but in the automatic generated delivery schedules line it is not turning up?
If there is any one who can help me with this subject, any information is welcome.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Wilfred

You have to create a condition record for your message type LPH1 in order to be able to generate the message (mn10).
At funcional level, try to update your schedule line manually through TCode me37 and then go to the ME84.
At customizing level, here are some things that were missing when it occurred to me :
Check in SPRO - Purchasing - Messages - Output Control - Message Types -
Define message type for scheduling agreement schedule lin - Fine-Tuned Control: Forecast Delivery Schedule/Expediter that you have operation 9 for LPH1 and the checkbox activated.
Check in SPRO - Purchasing - Messages - Output Control - Message Determination Schemas - DefineMessage Schema for Scheduling Agreement Release - Define Message Determ. Schema: Forecast Delivery Schedule/Ex in the control data : You must havefor LPH1 the requirement 109.
    Hope it helps

I wan to know how the zones work with LPA and how the whole cycle and the functions available with LPA.

    hi
These are the Prerequisites befor you go on to SA with release
Scheduling agreement releases (FRC and JIT schedules) can only be generated for scheduling agreements with release documentation (in the standard system, document type LPA).
(In the standard system, the Release docu. indicator is selected for document type LPA in Customizing for Purchasing under
Scheduling Agreement -> Define Document Types.)·
If you wish to work with JIT delivery schedules, the JIT schedule indicator must be set in the material master record (Purchasing or MRP 2 view) and the Additional data of the scheduling agreement item.
You create SA releases by means of the Purchasing menu via
    Scheduling agreement -> Create release
Choose release type ->FRC and JIT delivery schedulesSelect scheduling agreements - Specification of plant
Scope of selection- Changed or next date
Creation- According to strategy in profile, Tolerance check active
On the days on which the next FRC date (1st. Monday in the month) or the next JIT date (Monday each week) is reached, scheduling agreements with the above profile settings are selected and SA releases (delivery schedules to be issued to the vendor) created (because the next creation date has been reached).

  • IDOC for sheduling agreement delivery schedules (without Forecast/JIT)

There is an outbound IDOC DELINS to trasmit MM scheduling agreement (Doc.type LPA) delivery schedules of type Forecast/JIT using release procedure. But, can I create outbound IDOC DELINS to transmit MM scheduling agreement (Doc.type LP without release procedure) schedule lines (without specifying forecast/JIT shcedule lines)? When this IDOC is transmitted and processed as an inbound IDOC, it should add schedule lines to a Schedule agreement (Doc.type DS) in SD module. Thanks. Satya.

    Hi Anil ,
Goto Transaction NACE , Select Application EL and then Click on O/p Types.
Select your o/p and click on Processing routines.
Make a copy of medium 1 and change it to 5. The program , Form , Form routine would remain the same.
Maintain condition records with medium 5 in MN10.
Ensure that email address exists in Vendor Master.
Check with ur Basis to make sure that the setting are done in Transaction SCOT for sending document via PDF.
Create a new Agreement and test it.

  • Scheduling agreements with LPA

    Guys,
could you please let me know what are the settings necessary for LPA SA's  with MRP run.......
I would really appreciate your quick response.
    Thanks
    Raghu

    Hi,
SA must be clearly designated as a source of supply for MRP in the source list (MRP indicator 2)
The procurement indicator F (external procurement) must have been set in the MRP data of the material master record.
Automatic scheduling agreement delivery schedules must be permitted in the planning run.  The automatic schedule lines (scheduling agreements) indicator determines whether or not the system generates SA delivery schedule lines in the opening horizon only or in the planning horizon during the planning run.

  • Issue printing delivery schedule

    Hello,
When printing delivery schedule for an agreement, only 12 pages were printed.  There are about 43 lines on the agreement, but scheduel for only 25 lines was printed.  Spool too is incomplete.
Please can anyone suggest what could be the reason behind the whole del. sch. not being printed.
    Thanks
    Mira

    Hi Mira,
Are you using sched. agreement with release documentation (type LPA) or the one without release doc. (type LP)? In the former case, it is the release creation profile in the SA which determines how many lines will be printed (or actually how far in the future).

  • ME2L Delivery Schedule Showing Fully Delivered Lines

    Hey,
We are experiencing this issue on a SAP 4.7c system that we support.
Our business are trying to generate a report, every month, that is sent to vendors, of all the purchase orders that the business are expecting them to fill. To do this the business user uses ME2L report per vendor, only selecting the Schedule Agreements documents, hitting the calendar button (Delivery Schedule), exporting the resulting output to Excel, using a formula to identify the lines which have a GR value less than the Scheduled Qty value and sending these onto the vendor as a notification to the that these are the orders that the business have marked as outstanding.
The issue arose when the business cancelled lines on Scheduling Agreement 5500000073 by going into MD04 and deleting the requirement for vendor 5033760 and reassigned those requirements to a new Agreement 5500000053 for vendor 5000259.
However when you run the process above the deleted lines still show up on the report and you believe this should not be the case and never was the case.
What process to accurately identify on SAP, schedule line items, that have not being fully Goods Receipted and/or cancelled so they can be sent to the vendor?
    Many thanks for any help,
    Colm

    Hi Jurgen,
Apologies for the delay, I was away on leave.
We use selection parameters WE101 and that correctly brings us back only open orders on the selection screen, however when we click the Delivery Schedule button it displays lines that have been fully Goods Receipted.
For example, if I have a PO with 3 lines, Lines 1 and 3 have been fully received and line 2 has only been partly received.
I run ME2L with the selection parameter WE101 and the report only displays line 2. Which is correct.
However when I click the delivery schedule button I will be shown the entire history of that line, including scheduled quantites that were fully goods receipted.
What I would like to see is only lines where the scheduled quantity is greater than the goods receipted quantity.
I hope this makes sense, thanks for your help,
    Regards,
    Colm

  • Order of delivery schedule line counter at schedule agreements from MRP run

Currently we are using schedule agreements for our long term external suppliers, but we are facing a problem with the order of new delivery schedule lines created during MRP run.
Because of master data settings like, lot size, rounding value, plan delivery time and planning time fence to set as firm new requirements, multiple schedule lines are created with no order for schedule line counter.
Does anyone is aware of a BADI, user exit or customizing control to have this schedule line counter in order?

  • Schedule Line(Delivery Schedule) generation stopped

    Dear Experts,
We are using Scheduling Agreeements to procure materials from Vendor. We are using MRP(type PD) to generate our requirements. We have noticed that ,for a Schedule Agreement- MRP generates Delivery Schedules accordingly, but if user will try to interven the process by entering a manual schedule line with some quantity, and Fix Indicator is getting fixed, after that MRP is not able to generate Schedule Lines, henceforth.
We had done the same things earlier, but MRP was able to generate Schedule Lines even after manual intervention by user.We have not maintained Fix indicator in Source List also and the particular material and the Agreement both have been marked as MRP relevant against that Vendor in Source List.
If we will remove the open delivery schedules having Fix indicator fixed ,after that we run MRP,then the Schedule Lines are getting generated, but for those Schedule Lines(Manual or thorough MRP) having Fixed Indicator fixed and have GRN transaction completed,we would not be able to delete those and also MRP will not be able to generate Delivery Schedules. Please advice what is the reason behind this and share the full concept of Fixed Indicator against the same?
    Regards,
    Soumick

It looks we encountered very similar problem, one item line in our Scheduling Agreeements can't be driven by MRP MD02/MD41,but if we add another same line item under this SA, this new line can be driven by MD02,and generated delivery schedule line.
I don't know why. Please give me some light! Thanks!

  • Deletion of Scheduling Agreement and Delivery Schedule using BAPI

    Hi SAP MM Gurus,
    Please assist in inquiry below:
My scenario is that I am trying to delete delivery schedules and scheduling lines using BAPIs. I have no issues when there is no GR made yet for the delivery schedules. The error arises when there are already existing Goods Receipts and Invoices for the schedule line that I wish to delete
When using the BAPIs (either BAPI_SAG_CHANGE or BAPI_SCHEDULE_MAINTAIN), I set the deletion indicator to "L" and set to X all change relevant fields (i.e. DELETION_INDX). However, whenever I execute it, I get the error message 06088. The funny thing is both the Quantities and the delivered quantities that are normally populated are left blank.
    For example:
    Normal error for 06088:
Quantity 100.0 smaller than quantity delivered 179.0
Error using BAPI with deletion indicator:
    Quantity  smaller than quantity delivered
Is this a bug of the BAPI? or am I just missing some settings?
    Your immediate response is appreciated

  • Open Delivery Schedule list

My current client wants to display a list of Open Delivery Schedules via ME3M or ME3N in ALV mode. using selection criteria WE101 or WE103. The problem is that these reports also display schedule lines that were already received.  I tried changing the selection criteria, creating a new one and still the report shows schedule lines already received.  Do you know a way to remove these delivery schedule lines.
    Frank

    Hi,
    there is e.g. ME3N.
in the report on the very right there is a button like a schedule. Press it and you'll jump to the schedule lines.
    regards, Paul.
