Delivery Split on STO based off Time Stamp

Hello Experts,
that Need help related to an issue we are facing. We see when APO generate Purchase Requisition it has date and time on it. In R3 we convert multiple Purch reqs. to a single STO. On the STO we have multiple line for each Purch Req and it has Same Date but with different Time at the Item Delivery Schedule tab. Because of different time we get multiple Deliveries. Basically each line is a separate Delivery.
Has anyone has seen this issue? Appreciate your expertiseu2019s and knowledge.

Hello, I want to split the Delivery created from STO based on material loading group. I checked SAP Note:166397 and it requires copying routine. But this solution is not accepted and looking for other solutions. Please help with any user-exit or badi which can solve the purpose. Delivery needs to be created from VL10B transaction.

The copy routine is designed for this purpose - it's not clear why the client does not allow the use of it. In my opinion you should find the root casue of their resistance and offer an acceptable solution (if it is possible).
If you want to solve it in another way I guess you should go into a big development and develop your own copy routine functionality which could mean much more work (for you) and money (of your client) - instread of modifying a copy routine (maybe within few minutes).

Dear all,
I have a req where I need to create multiple Deliveries for one STO, there are standard pallet quantity in WM and they want to create 1 TO per delivery.
there is going to be only one line item per STO.
Eg: say we have a STO for 198
each pallet is for 99
I want to create 2 delivery for this STO with 99 on each one.
I will then create 2 TO and confirm them independently.
Please help me identify any configuration or customization that i need to implement to make this happen

Hi Vj,
I think you cant restrict the split of deliveries in logistics in Standard way. You will have to write a user exit which will restirct the delivered quantity to the amount less than, equal to the standard pallet quantity.
But then you could explore WM for the usage of storage unit or storage type to restrict the delivery quantity or pick quantity.

Database retrieving records based on time stamp

Hello all,
I just want to know that SQL query to retrieve specific time stamp record from the database using SQL server will work when same query is executed using SQL execute query.vi in labview.
Its not working actually.
My query is,
SELECT * FROM table name where col_name between 'date/time 2012-12-13 10:48:00' and 'date/time 2012-12-13 10:55:00'
I am using mdb file. This date/time 2012-12-13 10:48:00 is first time stamp to be searched.. This is string comes from DB Tools format datetime string.vi
Kudos are always welcome if you got solution to some extent.
I need my difficulties because they are necessary to enjoy my success.

A MS-Access query of a datetime field needs to be delimited wth the # (number sign / hash mark)
Something like:
SELECT * FROM table name where col_name between #2012-12-13 10:48:00# and #2012-12-13 10:55:00#
I've never used the between condition; I don't know if it will work reliably with Access. I would normally use >= and <= comparisons
Important: the # is specific to Access. We converted from Access to SQL Server in the last year and had to find all the places that used the "#' in our LabVIEW code and replace with a single quote.

Hi,
Refer the SAP note 546668, you can split the Delivery by writing the data transfer routine and pass the valuation type to LIKP-ZUKRL and split.

Program to update Delivery dates of STO based on Material availability

Hi,
We have requireement in which, we need to material availability check for the materials on daily basis. This is only for Stock Trasnfer orders.
Suppose there is STO ( Stock Transfer Order) 1 that has been created for material M1 for qty 20. The scheduled delivery date for the material is tomorrow. Now I create another STO 2 today for the same material and same quantity. The scheduled delivery date that was proposed was 7 days from today.
Some one deletes the STO 1. Now Material M1 with qty 20 is avaiable to use. I then go in the system, open STO 2 in change mode. Select the line item and click on Material availability check. When I do this, the new delivery dates are proposed.
This is standard sap functionality.
We have required to do this programmatically. Is there any standard SAP program which will check all the STO's by there creation date and do the material avaibility check automatically and re-set STO dates.

Instead of all that, you could just use stock transport scheduling agreements. MRP can update those automatically during its processing.

When i extract delta consutively with 1 Hr gap i am getting an delta evn tough the table is updated with etries

Split in stock transport order due to different time stamp in STR

Hi,
Deliveries created for stock PO's are splitted due to time stamp per seconds in the Stock PO. This originates due to timestamp set on the Stock transfer requisition created in APO. In this case several Stock transfer requisitions are consolidated to one Stock transfer order which is OK but it creates several deliveries due to the times stamp (split on seconds per day).
Request to suggest the way to avoid split of delivery due to time stamp.

Display of Time Stamps based on the TimeZones

Hi experts,
I am new to Internationalization topic and wants to
display Time Stamps based on the TimeZones.
For example, If I choose Asia/Calcutta as my TimeZone
it is displaying "Mon Aug 28 11:02:47 GMT+5:30 2001" as the TimeStamp.(I am in this TimeZone,which is default to me.)
Similarly If I select any other TimeZone, it should display the TimeStamp in the same format but the values in the Time Stamp should reflect the selected TimeZone.

It comes down to some tinkering in the java.util.* package.
First off, you'll need to familiarise yourself with the Calendar class. This basically replaces the old Date class from old versions of the JDK, and allows you to hold certain dates and times. You can get one by calling Calendar.getInstance();
You can then set a TimeZone on this Calendar by calling myCalendar.setTimeZone().
To create a basic TimeZone, have a look at the SimpleTimeZone class - it'll allow you to set the hours ahead or behind GMT, as well as a start date for this time zone, and even gives the ability to add daylight savings time.
From there, the time zone you add to the Calendar should produce the correct dates for you. Changing the time zone within a Calendar that already holds a date and time should alter that date and time accordingly.
If you want to get really clever, have a look at the Locale class - it allows you to specify a default language and country. You can then apply this to your Calendar by calling Calendar.getInstance(Locale myLocale) instead of the version above. If you have the international JDK (i.e. the one with i18n.jar onboard), Calendar should be clever enough to format the dates nicely for you if you use a fairly well-known Locale (such as American English and so on).
A Locale will also let you format dates in a location-specific way if you want to output them to the screen later on down the track. A quick look at SimpleDateFormat and some of the other DateFormat classes should tell you what you need to know.

Enabling the Local time stamp on Sales Order, Delivery, invoice & PO

Hi SAP experts,
I need the valuable inputs for the following requirement- the user ( India based)want to see the local time stamp on transactions VA01(Sales Order), VL01N(Delivery) and VF01(Sales Invoice), ME21N(PO). The system is currently fetching the Malaysian time on these.(invoice and delivery).
A small info about the issue: As India is 2.5 hrs behind Malaysian time so at 9:30 pm India time system date changes to the next day for us and any invoice done after 9:30 pm is showing next day's date. Also the time reflected on the Invoice is Malysian time which should be actually the local time. As per user, it is a non compliance on regulatory front.
To simulate the issue we have created an invoice on 3rd Jan at 4:01PM Indian Std time but the time reflected on the invoice is 18:31 which is MY time.
Also provide help in where to see the time settings for these sales documents?

With the help of security team, we tried to change the Personal time Zone ( of the user) maintained in SU01-Defaults tab to INDIA , but did not get the expected results. THE SYSTEM TIME ZONE JUST MAINTAINED BELOW PERSONAL FIELD IS SHOWING UTC+8.
After the change , the invoice created at India time is reflecting +2.5 hrs ahead time.
Pls Suggest , how to acheive this. Any example ecenario can help a lot.

Delivery split issue with PO (STO)

Hi All,
I created 4 STO . While creating delivery it automatically creating delivery splits ( two deliveres for smultiple PO). I checked the ship to party , route,ship conditions , unloading point . every thing is same. among 4 STO only one line items is splitting in to 2nd delivery.
User required only one delivery for all STO's.
The same is working in test boxes fine, and it is not happend in production system.
