Demo QM applications

Are there any Demo applications for Quality Management in WebDynpro?
I have been looking at the services available in SICF and found a few under package RPLM_QI_UI but have not been able to execute them. If anyone knows of any, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi,
Go to SICF and browse to the application using this path : <b>sap/bc/bsp/sap/bsp_model/</b>
Then check if the appplication services are active. If not activate it.
Also...did you enter the correct user-id and password....it should be ur SAP System password..!
Hope this helps.
<b><i>Do reward each useful answer..!</i></b>
Thanks,
Tatvagna.

  • The demo BPEL application does not start in Oracle AS...

    Hi!
I'd like to try out the OrderBooking BPEL demo application (what can be got from "http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/webservices/index.html" page), but I cannot, because when I try to launch the webapplication (which will start the BPEL process), I get the next error message in the Mozilla Firefox:

  • Creating Demo J2ME application

    Hi friends,
I have created one J2ME application. It is working fine.
Can anybody tell me waht I will have to do if I want to make demo of it.
Means I want create demo of that application for certain days say 10 or 15.
After that much days softwrae will not run.
    How can I achieve this?
    Plz I need it urgently
    Thanks in advance

The problem is that actually I am one of Lync administrators and I need to decide what is most important for Lync infrastructure. What I found in a meantime is "Health Rolllup Diagram" module in Lync server 2013 Management Pack Guide, part of it
    below:
A Lync Server pool can contain multiple individual Lync Server systems (with more than one Lync Server server role, Lync Server service, and Lync Server component). Therefore, the failure of an individual server or component is less critical to the overall
health of the Lync Server pool, because other servers in the same pool can provide the application service to the client. The health will roll up on a percentage level to the Lync Server pool.
The Lync Server Pool Watcher performs synthetic transactions against a Lync Server pool. Consecutive failure of one or more synthetic transactions (a process known as the
consecutive polling interval) will roll up the critical health state to the pool level (worst of any synthetic transaction), as shown in the following diagram.
Note: The Lync Server Port Watcher and global Simple URL Watcher do not roll up the health state.
Using this information I think that I should start with using LS site class for monitoring Lync servers (Mediation and FrontEnd), am I right? But not sure what I should do with the rest of infrastructure, SQL server, Office web apps and
    the rest

  • SOA Demo: worklist application doesnt show the created task!

I dont know why but after creating task that doesn´t show to be aproved on work list!
I cant see any kind of error...
    What can be done?

The task is in administration tasks. But the next problem is that the HumanTaskForm application is 404 not found, this because the deploy and relationship in deployment descriptors was different from OC4J to Weblogic and JDev doesn't deploy the humanTask application of the BPEL process.
So I created and modified the application.xml, web.xml and weblogic.xml to manually deploy from weblogic console. But we passed from Error 404--not found to Error 503--Service Unavailable.
Has anybody approached and solved this problem of HumanTaskForm of BPEL on Weblogic?

  • LR2:  1st Launch of Demo - The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150004)

    Hello all,
I've never used Lightroom nor had any need to really justify buying it when PS meets my needs, but thought I'd at least take a look at Lightroom 2 to see what it's like. Well, upon installing the trial to my Vista 64 system, the subsequent launch of LR2 only gave the subject "application failed to initialize properly (0xC150004)" error. I see no posts regarding this particular error, and Google searches only turn up that this error could be due to a wealth of things, inclusive of the usual talk regarding viruses or spyware.
Notwithstanding that I've got quite a number of applications installed, I keep my system relatively clean and do not suspect anything awry. Many speak ill of Norton products, of which I use Norton Internet Security 2008 and have had nothing negative to say about it...no issues from it with reagard to PS CS2 or CS3, so I'd expect none with LR2.
Oh...and as far as any departure from the default installation goes, I installed LR2 to a separate partition where most of my applications get installed, rather than to the system partition. Of course, that should be transparent and not matter.
I'm largely looking to see if there are any known obvious LR2 problems that might cause such an error to arise. If not, I'll just uninstall and forget about it. It's not worth spending too much time to resolve.
I have installed LR2 under the Windows XP/SP2 boot configuration of my system, using a separate installation path on my programs partition than used for the 64-bit version, and all looks to be working fine there. So, this may be more of an LR2 issue with Vista 64.
    Thanks,
    Daryl

    Hi Ian,
Thanks, but no luck with that idea either. I know 32- and 64-bit O/Ses are different, but I largely expected LR2 to work with both my installations under Norton Internet Security 2008 since all else does. A leap of assumption perhaps, but at least this exercise suggests the problem is unrelated to Norton software. I disabled all services and startup processes for both NIS2008 and Norton Ghost 14, via msconfig, even uninstalled and reinstalled LR2 under those conditions, and the problem persists.
One additional thing I did observe, as I decided to monitor Task Manager while the LR2 installer ran, is that even after the installation completed and I left the box selected to launch LR2, the MS installer 'msiexec' did not close out. So, I rebooted and with no msiexece active in the list afterwards, again tried launching LR2 with no success.
The only thing I can glean from this is a similar issue I had with Raxco PerfectDisk 2008, which launched 3 instances of msiexec during its installation, and never closed those. If I killed all related processes and attempted to launch PerfectDisk, it would freeze up at the splash screen with those 3 msiexec processes active again. I sent in some detailed notes to Raxco support for some feedback and if they come up with anything to offer that resolves the issue, perhaps it will be related to why the LR2 installer also doesn't close, or can't close, the msiexec. Perhaps a problem unique to my Vista 64 installation in spite of all else working. As with LR2, PerfectDisk works fine under XP32.
    Regards,
    Daryl

  • Where can I find tutorial or demo about application deployment with JDev?

I am currently trying to deploy developed application to local standalone OC4J and will deploy it also to 9iAS in near future. It's my first time to use jdev to develop and deploy applications based on ADF. Can anyone share with me some resources on jdev deployment? Thanks

Try the JDeveloper online help there is a complete chapter about deployment.
    The basic steps are:
Deploy the ADF runtime using the option in the tools->menu and then create a WAR file and deploy it.

  • How to get logout to work for partner applications

    Hi
I have configured the demo partner application of the ssosdk 3.07
    And login / logout works.
My problem is that the sample logout code, only clears the
cookie of the partner application, so the code redirects the
appliation to the login server which reauthenticates the partner
    application.
So shall the logout code clear the portal30_sso cookie.
My other problem is the other way around, when I log out of
Portal, I also need to be logged out of the partner application,
have anybody have any success with that.

  • Unable to Run WebLogicFusionOrderDemo sample application

I am trying to run sample fusion order demo ADF application. All the components of (WebLogicFusionOrderDemo project) have been deployed to soa server. The store front module is also deployed to the weblogic server. The weblogic and soa server are up and running fine.
When I try to access the application using the default URL "http://<ip_address>:port/StoreFrontModule/faces/home.jspx", it gives error as:
    " Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
Any thoughts on the possible reasons for this error?
    Thanks,
    Amit

you are right. The error code should be 403.
Did you give the right ip address and port number?
Go to console and check the ip address.
You can try 'localhost' or machine name instead of ip address too.
    try this url:
    http://<ip_address>:port/StoreFrontModule-ViewController-context-root/faces/home.jspx
Also, search this forum regarding this issue.

  • Help with the Oracle Fusion Order Demo deployment to Weblogic Server

    Hello all,
I am new to SOA and am in the process of understanding SOA concepts. I am trying to deploy the Fusion Order Demo sample application to the Weblogic server. I am following the instructions given at : [http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe11jdev/bulldog/deploysoaapp/deployment.htm|http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe11jdev/bulldog/deploysoaapp/deployment.htm] .
I am getting error when running the ant task "server-setup-seed-deploy-test" which deploys the Composite applications to the Weblogic Server. The ant log is pasted at the end of the post. The only difference i found from the instructions is that i do not have a AS11gR1SOA directory in my MW_HOME. Instead i have Oracle_SOA1 and i gave that directory's path for the parameter "soa.server.oracle.home".
I tried running the sub tasks in the "server-setup-seed-deploy-test" individually and only the last task "test-fod-composite-end2end" failed. Since the other tasks like "compile-deploy-all" were successfull, I tried to see the deployed applications in the soa domain. When i checked the soa domain in the Weblogic server console, I see only the "B2BX12OrderGateway" under the soa-infra. The OrderBookingComposite and others are not deployed.
Please help me in fixing this. Hope I have explained the problem correctly.
    Thanks in advance
    Nishan

  • Oracle XE DB for demo purposes

May I use an Oracle XE DB instance to demo my applications (explicitly not for production but just for dummy data to show functionality)? If customers are interested in the application, I would buy a license on a per-customer base or using a single instance for many customers.

There's a part about demonstrations specifically.

You would probably need additional licensing for hosting, if that is what's implied by "for" customers.
I'm not so sure that there's an exception for XE, at least not according to OTN license terms (with "your own internal" key phrase).
I have not seen the wording for hosting easily available online, e.g. https://shop.oracle.com/ , but that may have changed with saas/paas or "cloud" marketing, etc.
Read the article referenced above, but make sure you read the terms and build and test your own understanding of license terms, preferrably with help from your company's lawyers.
Just a quick thought, but one alternative might be AWS, as I believe they can provide instances that runs Oracle Database with some sort of usage based "renting" of licenses.

  • Failed to start applications after deployed as Windows service.

I deployed Administration server as a Windows service. Started Administration server in Windows Serivices control panel. The applications FMW Welcome Page Application (11.1.0.0.0), DMS Application (11.1.1.1.0) failed. I also installed adf-richclient-demo, this application in prepared status.
It reported "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.dms.wls.DMSServletFilter", when I tried to start the applications. However the applications are Ok by starting Administration server with domain\bin\startWebLogic.cmd.
Do any one know how to solve the issue?
    Thanks!

I asume you are using NodeManager to start AdminServer when you says "I deployed Administration server as a Windows service".
If so, make sure the jar file (jar that contains oracle.dms.wls.DMSServletFilter class) is added to CLASSPATH, that NodeManager uses to start the server. Node Manager starts a Server using the startup arguments configured for the Managed Server in the Server—>Configuration—>Server Start tab.
I suggest restart the NodeManager when you modify this properties.
