Deployer fail to recognise classes in CLASSPATH

Hi, I have SunOne installed on UNIX (Sun Solaris 8) box.
I have the setup for my jar files as follows:
1. jar file to be deployed is in: <domain_config_dir>/MyDomain/MyInst/applications/working.jar
2. other required classes is in common.jar which is in:
/etc/lib
3. Include /etc/lib and /etc/lib/common/jar into the CLASSPATH
Then i deploy the working.jar, however, the deployer does not seem to know where to find the classes that's in the common.jar.
in the /var/tmp/working.jar_verified.txt file , I have all the "FAILED TESTS" pointing to the classes which are located in common.jar.
and the error that i get on the screen is:
[27/Mar/2003:18:14:27] WARNING ( 8929): DPL5035:Error while running ejbc com.iplanet.ias.deployment.backend.IASDeploymentException: Fatal Error from EJB Compiler -- -- [117] test(s) failed while verifying. Aborting deployment. Please check the admin server log for more details.
I have no problem deploying this jar file on the Weblogic.
My guess is that SunOne maybe unable to find all the classes required from the jar files specified in the CLASSPATH.
If anyone know the solution or maybe experienced this before, please, your comment/help is very precious to me.
Thanks in advance.

It seems that the problem is related to ejbc,
I have try to deploy the ejb again and it gives me the following message on the screen:
Cannot deploy the component
Deployment Error -- Error while running ejbc -- Fatal Error from EJB Compiler -- -- com/towertechnology/common/errorhandling/TTException
there is nothing in the log at all.
I have verified and checked and confident that TTException is in the $CLASSPATH.
I have also looked at other forum, unfortunately, everytime I found posting to this poblem, there is no reply to it.
Is this a bug? Please, if any experts out there know a solution to this, I desperately need your help.
Thanks in advance.

    anyone know what this error message means?
    "Failed to create recognisable class with token <num>"
    I'm running a JNI app.

    Probably something that comes from the code of the application itself.

    Manish

    Hi Manish,
    It seems that you are using a custom security provider and the weblogic server is not able to find the class / jar file that contains the class.
    java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Failed to load class com.msl.security.providers.SessionPrincipal]
    Make sure you have all the required jar files in the server classpath.
    You can use the JarScan utility to find the jar that contains the class.
    Refer the below link regarding the jarScan.

    When I run appc at compile time I am getting the reported error. What strang is that if I disable appc at compile time, weblogic performs appc on the fly and all works fine. The same error I get even when I do run appc externaly to final ear.
    Can someone please assist to troubleshoot that?
    Thanks

    Ant appc targed follows:
    <target name="appc" unless="skip-appc">
    <property name="appc.target" value="${svc.jar.name}.ear"/>
    <echo message="${toString:wl.class.path}"/>
    <mkdir dir="${appc.dir}"/>
    <java classname="weblogic.appc" dir="${dist.dir}" fork="true" failonerror="true">
    <jvmarg value="-Djava.io.tmpdir=${appc.dir}"/>
    <arg line="-verbose"/>
    <classpath>

    </classpath>
    <arg value="${appc.target}"/>
    </java>
    <delete dir="${appc.dir}"/>
    </target>
    While running ant JAVA_HOME is set to JDK 1.6, wl.class.path is pointing to weblogic 10.3.4 libraries. Now I am just thinking of that ear is compiled by JDK 1.6 with target specified to 1.5. Do I somehow specify the same option for appc ?

    Following situation. In SCCM we have one Standalone Primray Site Server and two Site Server. The two site server are also SMS Provider. MDT 2012 was installed on all three Servers and the Config Manager Integration was run. When starting the Console
    on any of this server and editing an MDT Task Sequence, it occasionally pops up an error "An error occured when loading the task sequence". TaskSequenceProvider.log File throws a lot of errors:

    Tried removing the integration on all SMS Provider Machines and readded them. It does not make a differenence. Does anyone know if MDT supports the use of multiple SMS Providers? When I only use one Provider and deinstall the other two, it works ok.

    I recently bought a flash drive of Sandisk Cruzer Pop 32 GB.  My iMac fails to recognise it frequently - more than 50%.  However it works well with my MBA. The failure is either not to recongise the drive at all or eject it automatically.  The failure also leads unable to shut off.  I have to force iMac to shut off by pressing the power button and hold untill shutting off.  Any suggestion to fix it?  Thanks!

    Hi
    I am getting this error in Log

    Please help me to find out possible root cause for this errorstack.

    Hi,
    This is not the forum for WebLogic Messaging, i.e., JMS. This is the forum for Oracle MessageQ, and pure standalone messaging product similar to IBM MQ Series.

  • Problem loading modified classes from CLASSPATH using system class loader

    Hi,
    I am facing problem to load the modified classes from CLASSPATH.
    I have set my CLASSPATH to a directory whose classes will be modified frequently. After the server(web/app) is started, the system class loader, using which am trying to load the classes from the directory where the CLASSPATH is set, am not able to load the modified files without the server restart.
    Do I need to have a custom class loader to fix this.
    Please help me.
    Thanks,
    Sureddy

  • PC Suite 7.0 fails to recognise connection

    Hi,
    I have installed the latest version of Nokia PC suite (version 7.0.8.2) and I am using Windows XP home edition with service pack 2.
    My problem is that whenever I try to connect my phone (6500 slide) via the “connect your phone” link on the pc suite main screen, it fails to recognise that my laptop has any connections whatsoever i.e. USB, Bluetooth or infrared. Therefore, I cannot connect my phone and it directs me to the Nokia PC suite FAQs section which I have visited and I have tried many solutions from there. Whenever I connect my phone via the USB cable(CA-101), my laptop recognises it is connected but PC suite doesn’t. My phone also prompts me to select either the pc suite mode, printing or usb mass storage mode. When I do select the pc suite mode on my phone nothing happens.
    Strange thing is that I was using PC suite before and it was working perfectly for a day or two.
    Here is the list of things that I have tried:
    1) Uninstalled and re-install pc suite program, did not work.
    2) I have tried the 10 step solution posted by “mcrasm” which includes taking the sim out of the phone but pc suite still doesn’t seem to recognise a connection.
    3) I have downloaded pc suite cleaner v3.6 which is not compatible with the latest version of pc suite v7.
    4) I have tried to repair the usb cable drivers but this has not worked.
    5) I have tried to repair nokia pc suite via control panel but this has not worked.
    6) I have done a clean uninstall, i.e. using pc suite cleaner and then re-installed the program but the same problem still flares up
    I would be grateful if you could help me out with this problem. I have looked in this forum for people who have similar problems but could not find any. I apologise if I am repeating a thread. Many thanks in advance.
    Kyzer

    Thank for your reply. I am using VISTA HOME PREMIUM, Dell Insprion 1525, 32 bit. Well, PCSuite tells me that the requested back up has been done. But when I sync the phone it only installs the contacts, applications and some other settings. But not the calendar and notes. I did this before with another laptop (also Vista) and it went well. Has this maybe to do with the new 30.0.015 ? Rather frustrating. Because as I said before,I can see the calendar and notes back up's in my files and more and less read them with notepad. But thats all.
