Deploying a webservice on Jigsaw on Unix
Hi All.
We were able to successfully build and deploy a webservice on tomcat running on Windows. What we want to do is run it on a remote UNIX server running Jigsaw. What we're not able to do is find out where to actually put the war files and deploy the webservice and configure the Jigsaw server to deploy the web service for us to actually use it. I hope you can help us. Thanks

the problem is with the xmlns:wsdl="http://www.organisator.dk" line in your webservices.xml. It does not match the namespace of the corresponding PortType in your wsdl: targetNamespace="http://organisator.dk/winnie/wsdl"

Problem - Deployment of webservice to ias10.1.2
I'm trying to complete a deployment of webservice from Jdev 10.1.3.1 to ias 10.1.2
The 'test' connection to the application server works good
Deployment errors with:
Exit status of DCM servlet client: -8
Has anyone comments as to what could be the problem here and what to do to fix it ?
Tried looking in the Application server control - the webservice is not listed as deployed
Exit status of DCM servlet client: -8
Should I deploy to ear file and deploy via Application server control instead - Although it would be nice to deploy using Jdev as this is more efficient during development.
Any ideas?
Many thanks
Pete

we have a constraint to use 10.1.2 so cannot upgrade.....
From IAS - http-web-site.xml port is 8888
trying to access the ws:

request times out!
Which log files do I need to check to work out what the problem might be ?
Still can't see the webservice in application server control - is it possible ?
Thanks

How to deploy a webservice created with weblogic 7.0 on weblogic 6.1
Hi,
I've a created a webservice , deployed and tested it on weblogic 7.0.
I want to deploy this webservice on weblogic 6.1. Do I need to deploy the .ear
file created as an application on weblogic 6.1 and no other changes?
I tried deploying the .ear as an application on weblogic 6.1, however when I try
to access the webservice from my client application I get the following exception:

That's not going to work. 7.0 is a major rewrite of the web services

Deployment of webservice application on weblogic for 1ssl and 2ssl port
Hi,
We have developed webservices application and now need to deploy it on weblogic 10.
We need our application to be available on two ports, 1 way SSL(7001) and 2 way SSL(7002). I am not aware of how one application can be deployed and configured on weblogic to service both 1 way and 2 way SSL ports.
Also, the application contains WSDL document, which specifies the endpoint URL. The endpoint URL is the URL used by web service consumers to call the same. This URL contains port number as well.
So can some one guide me on how to deploy this application on weblogic and it should be able to cater both the ports?
Thanks & Regards
Ashwin
Edited by: [email protected] on Aug 24, 2009 6:38 AMA WL server can only have 2 ports, one SSL and one non-SSL, and one SSL configuration.
Since you want to deploy the webservice twice - with different SSL configs, you're going to run into JNDI problems too. If you created 2 versions of the web service, so that 2 ears could be deployed simultaneously, then you could use 1 domain & 2 managed servers, each of which had different SSL ports & configs.
Otherwise 2 domains. -
Deploy jw webservice to cluster server, always point to 9081
i have cluster server(9081, 9082, 9083), when i deploy the helloword webservice generated by jwsc http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/webserv/use_cases.html,
the dynamical wsdl always point to 9081,<s2:address location="http://localhost:9081/HelloWorldImpl/HelloWorldService" /> even when i invoke the service on 9082, http://localhost:9082/HelloWorldImpl/HelloWorldService?WSDL
i tried generate webservice by axis it works fine. i gooled, couldn't find solution. thx. Thanks for looking into it. Clean cache doesn't work for me. Since it works fine for you. I think the issue might related to create/deploy ear file. i don't have cluster setup on my local, so i created ear file and deployed to our DEV(unix) server thru admin console. the web-uri in application.xml generated by the jwsc contains the path examples/webservices/hello_world/HelloWorldImpl.war, instead of HelloWorldImpl.war. i have to manually updated the uri, otherwise i got "not be able to identifiy application path ......war" during install. Since Axis works fine cluster config should be ok. Do you mind share how you config the cluster and how to generate the ear file? this are the two possible places i can think of. i also tried set FrontEnd HTTP Port for each server, still didn't work.
May i know are you tech support from weblogic? i am trying to find way to create ticket for weblogic tech support for this issue. thx. -

Full deployment log file is also attached.
I have verified the jar selection mention on this forum link: help..
Any help on this will be greatly appreciate.Yes Frank. Ours is an SDO service created as per [Service enabled Application Modules|http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/b31974/bcextservices.htm#CJAJGIEB] . We have created the deployment profile as a 'Business Component Service Interface' profile.
Our attempt to deploy onto standalone from Jdev also fails with the same error. Unsure why the interface is unable to load - Error: Could not load endpointInterface oracle.apps.xyz.common.tasksService.TasksService.
Does this mean, the deployment process is unable to locate this interface? We have cross checked our deployment profiles quite a few times and could not find anything amiss. -

Unable to Deploy a Webservice.
Hello All,
I created a java bean and put the implemented code in some of the methods etc. ( By the way the code is generated using a WSDL using the SAP Netweaver libraries )
Now when I attempt to actually create the webservice out of the implemented Java Bean.
( By right click - > Webservice -> Create webservice.)
It create the EJB Jar and also create EJB EAR file but I am unable to deploy this EAR archive.
It throws following exception trace :
Can any of you please throw some light on this . ?

Can we get this problem if the NWDS and NWDI are not in Same version and same patch ?

-MjDear,
As suggested, i have checked for the JVM configuration for low heap size but i found the value of MaxPermSize to be 256M. So, i guess this is not causing the "Not Enough Space" issue.
Please let me know where else do I need to check as i completely clueless about this problem.
Thanks for your inputs.

Invalid Provider URL deploying axis webservice application on OC4J 10.1.3
Hi,
I have an enterprise webservice application using axis running fine with OC4J 9.0.4. I tried to deploy it in OC4J 10.1.3 and it gives ConfigurationException inside axis. I tried both axis 1.3 and 1.4 and still has the same issue. Axis is catching the exception and throwing it out as a runtime exception: Invalid Provider URL. I tried to google it, but didn't found much help. Did anyone had similar problem like this.
Thanks in Advance,
ChanduChandu,
Perhaps you could post the entire error message and stack trace you are getting, as well as the part of your code that is causing the error? Are you using JDK 1.4 or JDK 1.5?
Good Luck,

Deploying a webservice on WLS 9.1 and got an wsdl error.
Hi,
I hoped it is then right usergroup to publish the following question.
I'm trying to deploy a EJB webservice on a WLS 9.1.
But I got the following error message:
[java] port component "SystemServiceEndpointPort" is not found in wsdl.
It's simple JAX-RPC based webservice where a SessionBean method is used as
the service implementation. The same configuration (webservice.xml,
jaxrpc-mapping-SystemService.xml, SystemService.wsdl) works fine under JBoss 4.0, but not with
WLS 9.1. Maybe it's a simple configuration error and I hope someone can help.
I haved remembered the namespace in the webservices.xml file: <wsdl-port>wsdl:SystemServiceEndpointPort</wsdl-port> and also defined et in the top of the file.
Regards
Torben
