I access to build.xml file to comment element echo out and run ant again but the new error has occured "The <fail> task doesn't support the nested "condition" element." . How should I do for deploy custom application ?

  • How to deploy the custom java application for self regaistration in portal?

    hi,
    I have created a custom java application in NWDS for Self Registration of new users.I am working on EP 7.02 and the standard self registration application is a Web dynpro java application.
    How can i deploy my custom java application built as a par file in place of the Web dynpro java application?
    Thanks,

    Hi Amarys,
    If you have developed the PAR file in NWDS then you can deploy the PAR in the server with NWDS ( [Check Required Settings |NWDS 7.0 does not deploy PAR;) or in server directly (system administrator > support >> portal runtime >> administration console)

  • SSO not working for a custom WDA application that runs in the Portal

    I have a Portal system (Java stack, NW04s) that has an iView of type webDynpro ABAP. The custom Web Dynpro ABAP application resides on another system (ABAP stack, running ECC6). We have configured the trust relationship between the Portal and the ECC system as per
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/61/42897de269cf44b35f9395978cc9cb/content.htm
    We know this is working since we are able to run ESS. However, for the custom WebDynpro ABAP application, when calling it for the first time, a logon screen shows up. How can we get rid of it? what are we missing to have SSO work for the custom WebDynpro application?

    Hi Sujana,
    For deploying Web Dynpro for Java application, J2EE_admin correct password must be stored in the scured area of config tool.
    Your error show that J2EE_admin information is not correct.
    So, Please ask your basis team to update new J2EE_ADMIN password or you can do it in scured area of config tool.
    Hope this will helps you.

  • Building Custom Worklist application in 11g using wlfullclient.jar

    Hi,
    Can anybody mention me the detailed steps to be followed to build a custom Worklist application.
    I have created a Web application jdev 11g
    I placed the following url to create
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E1552301/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklistcust.htm_+
    placed the following jars in classpath
    Wsclient_extended.jar
    Bpm-services.jar
    Bpm-infra.jar
    Wlfullclient.jar
    xmlparserv2.jar
    xml.jar
    I did not find this bpm-services-client.jar* anywhere in the SOA stack. I am missing this??
    and also place wf_client_config.xml under src folder the content is as below
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
    <workflowServicesClientConfiguration xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/bpel/services/client">

    </workflowServicesClientConfiguration>
    And I have placed web.xml and weblogic.xml under WEB-INF folder.
    I do not have any compile time error.
    But when I am trying to deploy the application I am getting the following error.
    If i remove the wlfullclient.jar I am not getting this error as it is trying to load something while deployment.

  • Custom worklist  application integration with BPEL cluster

    Hi all,
    I've setup a BPEL cluster using the Enterprise installation guide for 10.1.3.3.0. Currently we have a custom worklist application which is works when deployed on an installation SOA suite (10.1.3.1.0). The integration of claiming or setting an outcome works fine. We use the remote EJB to integrate with the workflow services.
    However when testing the application on a cluster, we are getting the following log message in the log file for the custom application:
    Questions:
    1) What should be the value of the host name in the server URL since in a cluster a remote HTTP server. The HTTP server uses a virtual URL via the loadbalancer.
    2) What should be the port number? Should it be the opmn request port from the $ORACLE_HOME/opmn/conf/opmn.xml
    Anything else that i'm missing, please let me knoe.
    Thanks in advance.

    example banking application that I downloaded from the BEA website. I
    have followed all of the steps in the "Hands On: Deploying the Sample
    Banking Application" document, and I do fine until I get to the next to
    last step. When I attempt to target the server for the EJB module, the
    deployment process generates the error that I have included at the end
    of this message.
    I can get to the login.html page under "http://localhost:7001/banking/",
    but after that I can't go further.
    Any suggestions. BTW, in case you haven't figured it out, I'm brand new
    to BEA WebLogic server.
    Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    The deployment process invokes javac internally to compile some generated classes.
    Do you have javac installed and in the path?

  • Problems with building custom worklist application

    I'am trying to build a custom worklist application using this: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklistcust.htm
    Here is the code I've built so far (it si quite simple but, for now, I'm just trying to get hold of the concepts involved):
    public class Test {
    public static void main(String[] args) {

    IWorkflowContext context;
    try {
    context = queryService.authenticate("jstein", "welcome1".toCharArray(), null);
    } catch (WorkflowException e) {
    e.printStackTrace();

    I would appreciate any help. I'm really stuck with this..
    Thanks! :)

    I've finally found a solution to this problem. The problem was that I was trying to connect to a workflow api on the *7001* port but that wasn't the correct port. The correct port is *8001*.
    I came to this conclusion quite accidental (or out of desperation if you like).
    What I don't understand is that in every single official Oracle document about workflow and worklist the port they were targeting was *7001*. I have to emphasize that I installed SOA 11g suite with all default settings.
    Problem solved, moving on.

  • BPEL transaction in custom worklist application

    Hi,
    How can we be sure about transaction while performing actions within worklist client?
    Such an example, we developed an application by using oracle soa suite worklist api's.
    Beside task updating,payload adjustion we need to do some other jobs including business logic in our java client application.
    In such cases, if there is an exception at java code, it doesnt commit to database but bpel integration code performs... Is there any way which you can control all this functions calling within one transaction? I want to rollback all if you come up with an exception.
    I found an xml attribute which you need to configure in wf client config.xml, we use RMI for performing actions...
    participateInClientTransaction true
    How does it work?
    Thanks for help,
    Regards...

    Hi,
    Every release of soa suite may have an updated version of the worklist application. So if you customize the application and upgrade your soa suite installation there may be ar risk you get into problems. However, most of the time the updated version solves existing bug and no more than that. An other issue is that if you are using the bpel libraries to connect to a bpel server the client always needs to be of the same version as the server. What you should do is:
    - get the new 10.1.3.3 version of the libraries or install JDeveloper 10.1.3.3
    - update your orabpel.properties file and make sure the bpel home is pointing to the new version
    - update/verify the build.xml that it is pointing to the new libraries
    - rebuild/compile your customized worklist app against the new libraries
    - redeploy the new worklist application to the 10.1.3.3 server
    Kind Regards,
    Andre

    If I create a partition for Bootcamp that is at least 30 GB in size, is that all the storage I get when running Windows?

    There are differences between each Mac and what the original configuration of the Mac is/was. If your Mac originally came with an Optical drive, burning the ISO to a DVD and using it will work. Hardware modifications like Optibay will cause problems. Modifying Bootcamp info.plist will cause problems. Disk Utility partitioning will cause problems. A custom Hybrid MBR will cause problems. External Optical drives are unlikely to work. There is long litany of grief.

  • Does LabView display the Bluetooth signal strength when running on Windows XP?

    I am interested in getting the Bluetooth signal strength in a Windows XP application. I would like to use the Microsoft bluetooth drivers for my application. First, Does LabView display the Bluetooth signal strength when running Windows XP? Secondly, If it does what Windows API(s) does it use to get access to this information?

    Hi,
    It does not seem like the Bluetooth VIs allow you to display the signal strength and I can definitly enter that as a product suggestion for the Bluetooth functionality in LabVIEW. For now, I would suggest going through the Windows API and searchingn for RSSI - Received Signal Strength Indication. I did not have a lot of luck in my searches through Microsoft, but you can give that a shot and post back with any more headway you make.
    Also, you can try going to SourceForge.net. Just doing a search for Bluetooth and RSSI popped up several hits of code that has been developed for Bluetooth applications. Then, you can see about creating a DLL call to a particular function that will return RSSI information to you, to which
    you can then use in LabVIEW with the Call Library Node.vi.
    Hope this helps and best of luck!

  • [Solved]Remove button icons in KDE applications when running under dwm

    I run dwm but also use KDE applications.
    KDE applications do show icons on dialog buttons:
    I gather that these buttons can be disabled in the system settings dialog when running a full KDE desktop. My question is: How do I achieve this - remove the icons on buttons - while not running a full KDE session?
    kcmshell4 doesn't seem to expose an option to do so in any available module, including 'kcmshell4 icons'.
    The systemsettings5 option repertoire is incomplete and only has the modules "Workspace>Desktop behaviour", "Workspace>Shortcuts", "Network>Settings" and "Network>Connectivity".
    In my .xsession, I am currently exporting
    export QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE=gtk # Make Qt5 use the GTK+ theme
    export DESKTOP_SESSION=gnome # For something I can't quite remember
    I've also seen XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=gnome vs XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=kde floating around, but neither achieves anything in this regard.
    Does anybody know which setting in which config file I could set to emulate what the KDE configuration GUI does in a KDE session, or what KDE packages I would have to install in order to add the correct settings component to my KDE configuration utilities (KDE4 and/or Plasma 5), or what environment variable to set? A last resort would be installing a full KDE workspace or Plasma 5 and toggling the setting there, but I'd rather avoid doing that.

    Edit: if that doesn't work, .config/kdeglobals
    ShowIconsInMenuItems=true
    ShowIconsOnPushButtons=true
    ToolButtonStyle=TextBesideIcon
    ToolButtonStyleOtherToolbars=TextBesideIcon
    Change to false and TextOnly, respectively
    Might have to look for another kdeglobals file for kde4 apps, which should be either in .kde4 or in home dir, since there's a bit of a mess currently during transition
    Please excuse my belated reply; thank you for the solution:
    The line
    ShowIconsOnPushButtons=false
    in kdeglobals removed the icons for KDE 4 applications. For some reason, applications using KDE Frameworks 5.x did never show the button icons to begin with.

    Hi,
    Is your formula attached to basic salary element or some other element? You need to make sure that basic salary element has some value and is processed before this formula is called. Are you able to see value for basic salary element after payroll run?
