Deployment Creator is null message

I am attempting to deploy an application to a new development installation of WebLogic. I get the following stack trace. Does anyone know where I should set the deployment creator value?
Thanks!
Mark

    Hi,
    Thsi is the famous NULL pointer exeption. There may be multiple reasons for it and sometime it may also happen beacuse of lost connection to DB, instance may have gone off etc...You cannot retrive the work back as far as i know when u strike this error.
    Plz save ur work after every change or operator u put into the mapping as a safety precausion.
    Regards,

  • Need Help Deploying Creator Project with Derby as Embedded

    HI,
    I have developed a web app using creator and the derby database instance that runs within creator. Now I want to war up the app and include the derby db as an embedded database. I have included the derby jar file in my lib directory and have created a new datasource with the derby embedded driver for testing. I cannot seem to get the db to run as embedded. My data source is setup as follows:
    dataSource name="DerbyTest3"
    driverClassName="org.apache.derby.jdbc.EmbeddedDriver"
    url="jdbc:derby:../sample"
    validationQuery="select * from "
    username="dbadmin"
    password="7237EACC50DB74EF"
    />
    The sample database was copied from the creator source tree and inserted under WEB-INF
    When I try to connect I get the following error:
    Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the web application. Please review the following stack trace for more information regarding the error.

    One of our developers mentioned this, but it's also in the derby ref manual for the SQLException you're getting:
    http://db.apache.org/derby/docs/10.2/ref/rrefattrib26867.html
    sounds like you needed to append
    ;create=true
    to the JDBC Url...

  • Deploy creator application to oracel application server

    hi,
    how can I deploy an application created in creator to the oracle application server in order to include it as an oracle portlet i noracel portal
    thanks,
    IAS

    Scott,
    I think that this question cannot be answered because nobody knows what your applications are doing and how they are programmed. What does it mean when you say that each application has 100 MB (memory or disk size) ? Also, what is your concern, that the Application Server stops deploying the applications or that it doesn't respond to user requests. If the latter, how many users work with the application, concurrently a the same time?

  • Create null message using BizTalk mapper XSLT

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to check if a message contains a certian value, and if so, throw away the message.  Does anyone know how this could be done using BizTalk mapper/ XSLT?  It's an ESB messaging only solution so don;t want to introduce orchestratons
    / c# code.
    In short is field A = 'yes' the message will be thrown away / made null.
    Thanks in advance.
    GilesB

    If you consider doing this in Receive-side with some pipeline component, I am afraid you can't eat the data at the receive pipeline. For a null returned, I believe at least a empty message would be published to message box.
    Without orchestration, in message-only scenario one option you can consider is using a custom adapter where you can have your logic whether to send a stream/message out or not. Something like:
    public bool TransmitMessage(IBaseMessage msg)
    _terminate.Enter();
    try
    bool logMessages = Convert.ToBoolean(
    GetAdapterConfigValue(msg.Context, "logMessages")
    if ( logMessages ) {
    SystemMessageContext ctxt = new SystemMessageContext(msg.Context);
    //Add your logic using XPathReader - stream based XPath
    //and check whether the message has the value your're looking for
    bool isFound = false;
    if (!isFound)
    string msgData = "";
    StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(msg.BodyPart.Data);
    using (reader)
    msgData = reader.ReadToEnd();
    // discard the message
    return true;
    } finally {
    _terminate.Leave();
    Above is part of the send adapter code where you add your logic using XPathReader - stream based XPath and check whether the message has the value your're looking for. You can use
    null send adapter as refernce and build your logic where it would check for the required value in your custom adapter.

  • MSS Recruitment Requisition 'Internal error: null" message

    We are setting up the recruitment requisition functionality of MSS.  When the form loads (via the Form Tree) we just get the message "Internal error: null".
    I have checked the back-end config and iView properties.  All of the required PAR files are loaded.  We have MSS 50.2 on EP5-SP6.
    I think the same message might come up with the PCR forms too.  I would really appreciate any tips as I'm pretty stuck here.  I couldn't find any relevant SAP notes. Thanks.

    Hello Mike,
    We already had this kind of situation.
    On the transaction QISRSCENARIO you need to select your scenario and generate the .PAR file again (they will be on C:     emp). Then unzip those files and search for the "default.properties" and there you will find a parameter "SystemIdentifier.value=" that need to be your System Álias on Portal. I don't know why, but when you generate the file this parameter it is filled with SAP_R3_Financials. After the change you need to upload the .par file.
    Good luck!

  • Deployment warning: SC null null not known yet, can not get release level

    Hi everybody,
    During the deployment I'm getting the following warning (application_00.log):
    SC null null not known yet, can not get release level for vendor: 'se.sync', name: 'BPE', location: 'Deployment Manager', counter: '42', change number: 'null'
    BPE is the application name and "se.sync" is the provider-name from application-j2ee-engine.xml.
    This seems to indicate that some release level (version?) is not set... How can this be fixed?
    Regards,
    Milosz

    Hi Milosz,
    the warning is because the deploy controller checks for correct version numbers in the DC/SC that is deployed.
    You can just ignore it, your application should run just fine.
    Regards,
    Christian

  • Deploying Creator application to WebSphere

    How can I deploy application created with Java Studio Creator to WebSphere? I want to switch to JSF from IBM's RAD. The conditions that my boss gave me was that the application must run on WebSphere 6 and be compatible with ClearCase.
    Also, while I have not been programming in shale for the simple reason that I refused to hand code user interface tags when we have this wonderful Java Studio Creator to drag the darne thing and drop into existence like magic, I pressed Craig on why he had to crave out an entire new framework--shale--when Java studio can be extended to take care of whatever shale represents. He indicated that shale serves as a research tool for what should be standard in JSF 2.0. Please I am asking you guys to add to creator whatever value add that shale may represent.

    Is there a step by step How-to to get a Creator app running on SJSAS 8.1 on an external machine?
    I used admin console to set up JDBC resources and connection pools and edited the sun-web.xml file to include
    <sun-web-app xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee">
    <context-root>/myproject</context-root>
    <resource-ref>
    <res-ref-name>jdbc/Signon</res-ref-name>
    <jndi-name>jdbc/Signon</jndi-name>
    </resource-ref>and the web.xml file includes
    <resource-ref>
        <description>Rave generated DataSource Reference</description>
        <res-ref-name>jdbc/Signon</res-ref-name>
        <res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
        <res-auth>Container</res-auth>
      </resource-ref>Can anyone tell me what I've missed out?
    Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
    John
