  • Memory Leak, Receiver Got Null Message & Consumer limit exceeded on destina

    When running program that adds an Object message to a JMS queue and then recieves it. I get the following.
    1) interminitent NULL messages recieved.
    2) jms.JMSException: [C4073]: Consumer limit exceeded on destination interactionQueueDest. Even though only one receiver can be receiving via the supplied program.
    3) After many message are added to the queue 1000's the Message Queue goes to Out Of Memory exception. It should swap to disk!!

    1) interminitent NULL messages recieved.Thanks that explains the behavior. It was wierd getting null messages when I know there is messages in the queue.

    on destination interactionQueueDest. Even though only
    one receiver can be receiving via the supplied

    Hi,
    Thsi is the famous NULL pointer exeption. There may be multiple reasons for it and sometime it may also happen beacuse of lost connection to DB, instance may have gone off etc...You cannot retrive the work back as far as i know when u strike this error.
    Plz save ur work after every change or operator u put into the mapping as a safety precausion.

  • Create null message using BizTalk mapper XSLT

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to check if a message contains a certian value, and if so, throw away the message.  Does anyone know how this could be done using BizTalk mapper/ XSLT?  It's an ESB messaging only solution so don;t want to introduce orchestratons
    / c# code.
    In short is field A = 'yes' the message will be thrown away / made null.
    Thanks in advance.
    GilesB

    If you consider doing this in Receive-side with some pipeline component, I am afraid you can't eat the data at the receive pipeline. For a null returned, I believe at least a empty message would be published to message box.
    Without orchestration, in message-only scenario one option you can consider is using a custom adapter where you can have your logic whether to send a stream/message out or not. Something like:
    public bool TransmitMessage(IBaseMessage msg)
    _terminate.Enter();
    try
    bool logMessages = Convert.ToBoolean(
    GetAdapterConfigValue(msg.Context, "logMessages")
    if ( logMessages ) {
    SystemMessageContext ctxt = new SystemMessageContext(msg.Context);
    //Add your logic using XPathReader - stream based XPath
    //and check whether the message has the value your're looking for
    bool isFound = false;
    if (!isFound)
    string msgData = "";
    StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(msg.BodyPart.Data);
    using (reader)
    msgData = reader.ReadToEnd();
    // discard the message
    return true;
    } finally {
    _terminate.Leave();
    Above is part of the send adapter code where you add your logic using XPathReader - stream based XPath and check whether the message has the value your're looking for. You can use
    null send adapter as refernce and build your logic where it would check for the required value in your custom adapter.

  • MSS Recruitment Requisition 'Internal error: null" message

    We are setting up the recruitment requisition functionality of MSS.  When the form loads (via the Form Tree) we just get the message "Internal error: null".
    I have checked the back-end config and iView properties.  All of the required PAR files are loaded.  We have MSS 50.2 on EP5-SP6.
    I think the same message might come up with the PCR forms too.  I would really appreciate any tips as I'm pretty stuck here.  I couldn't find any relevant SAP notes. Thanks.

    Hello Mike,
    We already had this kind of situation.
    On the transaction QISRSCENARIO you need to select your scenario and generate the .PAR file again (they will be on C:     emp). Then unzip those files and search for the "default.properties" and there you will find a parameter "SystemIdentifier.value=" that need to be your System Álias on Portal. I don't know why, but when you generate the file this parameter it is filled with SAP_R3_Financials. After the change you need to upload the .par file.
    Good luck!

  • Posting null message to webservice

    Hello All,
    PI needs to post data to webservice and if for a particular field, there is no value coming from the source structure, then PI needs to post in the following way:
    <mil:TrackingLocationSection  i:nil="true" />.
    Now this attribute(nil="true") is currently not specified in the wsdl. The webservice team says that it is part of the XML Schema standard which is the standard used by SOAP messages and so PI should automatically put the attribute value as nil="true" whenever the value is not present.
    Do you know how this can be achieved?

    Hello
    Thanks for the response. Using a java mapping should solve the problem, but since it is a SOAP standard, is there a way that PI automatically handles setting nil="true" value whenever the field is not present in the source?
    We do have the namespace xmlns:i=http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance in the output payload, but this is not ensuring that i:nil="true" is passed automatically as an attribute when the field is not present in the source structure .
    Thanks and Regards

  • Email null error message

    I am unable to receive email using 6.6 macmail. Receving error message: server returned the error: the attempt to send data to the server "(null)" failed. I spoke with comcast tech support which issue was with email software.

    For the sake of those who are seeking out solutions to this problem, I am adding the solution that finally worked for me.  I have an email account through godaddy and I ran into this problem recently.   There seemed to be no ryhme or reason for when it would spit out the dreaded "An error occurred while delivering this message via the SMTP server (null)" message.  What made it worse is that every thread I found out there had no solutions to offer.  Just like the uber-generic solution found here.
    Nothing helped until I reconfigured my account with SSL settings.  For some reason once I did this the problem went away and emails I couldn't send before, suddenly went out without a hitch.  You may try changing the settings in your current email setup first, but you may have to start from scratch.  I was so frustrated that I started out by wiping out my account entirely, before I tried the SSL change.
    You can find the SSL settings, ports, etc... through your email server's website.  On GoDaddy just log into your email account and it tells you what the settings are for pop and imap as well as what ports to use for SSL and non-SSL.

  • [OWB 11.1.0.7.0]: Null Pointer during the creation of a table object

    Hello,
    I have a very serious problem during our migration to Oracle 11.
    After installing the database, creating the owb repository schema and starting the owb client, I tried to create a simple table and got a null pointer exception (see below). I also imported some data from our productive enviroment with Oracle 10, just to have some tables in the owb enviroment. Unfortunatley the same exception is thrown when I am trying to open the editor window for the data object.
    The system is:
    - Microsoft Windows Server 2008
    - Oracle Database / OWB Repository Client and Server 11.1.0.7.0
    A complete reinstallation of the database software did not help, the error is reproduceable.
    Unfortunately metalink could not help us eather, no one seems to have this problem so far. Currently there are two occurances of the error API5072:
    API5072 When Attempting to Open Control Center Manager
    API5072 Error When Deploying Process Flow to Two Different Workflow Schema Installed On The Same Database Instance
    The problem I have is independent of the workflow schema (it happens with and without a workflow schema) and is independent of the locale.
    There seems to be no patch and I am running out of ideas. Can anyone thinks of anything I can try to get the system running?
    Tank you!
    Markus Schneider

    Hi
    Connect in SQLPLUS as the repository owner and use the OWB_HOME/owb/rtp/sql/service_doctor.sql script to check the status of the Control Center Service.
    If still does not work .
    Try to restart the database.
    that is the last option.
