  • Application Deployment Error - SOA Suite 10.1.3.1

    Hi Gurus,
I have deployed an application on Oracle SOA suite 10.1.3.1 on AIX 6.1, all went well until I tried to access it from a browser, I got errors and was unable to launch the application. I then decided to look at the relevant logs, I got a network adapter related error. I have defined the connection pools and data sources properly and tested them successfully. I am however getting the following error:

    Hi,
Firstly I see that you are not on a certified version.
To use AIX  6.1 the minimum version of OAS should be 10.1.3.3 +
There would be issues that you could face even due to unsupported configuration.
    Thanks,

  • BINDING.JCA-12510 JCA Resource Adapter location error in SOA 11g Suite

    Hi,
I am just testing one simple SOA Application in SOA 11g Suite. Created a SOA Composite Application with one DB Adapter at designtime all worked fine with DB Adapter. But when I deploy the Application on the server I get the following error:
The JCA Binding Component was unable to establish an outbound JCA CCI connection due to the following issue: BINDING.JCA-12510 JCA Resource Adapter location error. Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via .jca binding file element <connection-factory/> The JCA Binding Component is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the <connection-factory/> element: location='eis/DB/soademoDatabase'. The reason for this is most likely that either 1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the WebLogic Application server or 2) the '<jndi-name>' element in weblogic-ra.xml has not been set to eis/DB/soademoDatabase. In the last case you will have to add a new WebLogic JCA connection factory (deploy a RAR). Please correct this and then restart the Application Server ".Do I need to jndi-name in weblogic-ra.xml if so what is the exact location. Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

I did but still not able to connect now getting the following error. I went to the Weblogic Console, clicked on deployments, selected DBAdapter, clicked on configuration ,
and then I don't see outbound configurations instead it shows Outbound Connection Pools, Under Outbound Connection Pools tab I clicked on New and it asked to select Outbound Connection Group I selected the one that was already there (with JNDI eis/DB/SOADemo) and then created my JNDI which was added to the default Outbound Connection Group and in the end it asked to save the Plan.xml which I saved it under a new directory created under soa directory. But still am not able to connect.
How do I create my own Connection Group as don't want to use the defualt one out there.
After creating the JNDI Name it asks for saving the Plan.xml file. Where exactly we save this file. Are there any standards.
Why can't I update any properties when I click on the new JNDI name it takes to Settings for javax.resource.cci.ConnectionFactory --> Outbound Connection Properties but there I see a save buttn but I can't make any changes.
BINDING.JCA-12563 Exception occured when binding was invoked. Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'getCreditValidationSelect' failed due to: Could not create/access the TopLink Session. This session is used to connect to the datastore. Caused by javax.resource.spi.InvalidPropertyException: Missing Property Exception. Missing Property: [DBManagedConnectionFactory.userName]. You may have set a property (in _db.jca) which requires another property to be set also. Make sure the property is set in the interaction (activation) spec by editing its definition in _db.jca. . ". The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception. Please examine the above error message carefully to determine a resolution. Is there any documentation that lists all these steps as I couldn't find it anywhere. The guide only talks abou DBAdapter but how to configure etc can't find any info. Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • Org.xml.sax.SAXParseException during deploying project in SOA 11G

    Hello,
I was migrating a project from SOA 10G to SOA 11G (11.1.1.3). I had to make a few changes in the project such as:
    1) Put concrete wsdl's
    2) Put "<bpelx:exec import="oracle.soa.common.util.Base64Decoder"/>" in the bpel file
    3) Change the database adapters to have "toplink" as the persistence provider as when I migrated the file , it changed it to Eclipse
    4) Fill in the port and location in the reference portion of the composite.xml
At the end of all these changes , my project compiled properly , but when I tried to deploy it , I am getting this error:
[09:57:27 AM] Error deploying archive sca_MIA_ModuleInvToGP_rev1.0.jar to partition "default" on server soa_server1 [sv-soafm-dev1.infinera.com:8001]

[09:57:27 AM] Check server log for more details.
I am unable to know where this particular error is coming from , and do not know how to resolve this. Does any one have any idea on what could be the possible reason for this?
Seems to be a problem with some XML file , but I dont know which file to check.
    Any help is welcome.
    Thanks

In the session.xml schema it is a choice between driver-class/url and datasource, so you need to remove the driver-class tag as you are using a datasource.
    <driver-class>oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver</driver-class>
    <datasource>jdbc/AlfaDS</datasource>
    replalce with,
    <datasource>jdbc/AlfaDS</datasource>

  • T4CConnection Error while creating datasource in SOA 11g

    Hi All,
i getting the below error while creating the data source with an oracle database in oracle SOA 11g. I trying to create the datasource in the weblogic console page. The error is specifically coming while testing the database connection.
However, i am able to telnet the database box on this particular port..  Also this used to be a working connection earlier and i am able to create the same datasource from other similar SOA 11g instance...
    the error details are:-

is it some netwrok issue..  but why is then the telnet working for the same server on this port ????

  • Deployment Queries related to Quartz Scheduler for SOA 11g???

    Dear All,
We are using Quartz Scheduler for SOA 11g and have queries on its testing:
    1. Can we change the cron expression(say, previously cron expression was with the interval of 15 minutes every hour and we are changing it to 5 minutes every hour) in the scheduler table after we deployed the scheduler application? Should this require redeployment of Scheduler Application or the scheduler java class needs to be be run again to trigger the newly updated cron expression. Or, Will commiting the scheduler details table alone update the application to schedule for every 5 minutes in an hour?
    2. Also, if we are trying to schedule a new application(say, previously only 2 of our applications are scheduled and trying to add newly built application in the Scheduler table), will commiting the table alone will schedule the new application or require redeployment of Scheduler Application or the scheduler java class needs to be be run again?
    Please share your thoughts!
    Thanks in advance

Were you able to control the frequency from the table. Can you please share the detials..

  • Getting INVALID_WSDL error in SOA 11g Samples

    Hi,
Jdev version: 11g (11.1.1.2) (Also tried in 11.1.1.3..got same issue)
I downloaded SOA 11g samples from Oracle. When I open any of the SOA project in jdev and double-click any service in the left-right swimlane, I am getting following error:

  • SOA 11g- Error handling of Asynchronous composites

    Hi,
We are working on Error Handling framework design for both synchronous, asynchrounous composites of SOA 11g.
Any pointers on the same will be helpfull as how to capture errors occuring during asynchronous services calls.
    Thanks,
    Sowmya

    Thanks Naresh.
Can you help me if the below is possbile.
I have a process which takes an input and splits the inputs into multiple requests to some external system in a flow-N activity. There is an invoke activity with-in the flow N activity. And this invoke is an asynchrnous call. If at runtime we have 5 flows for flow-N, with 5 calls to external system, and out of these 4 are successful and one errors out. Can we have an error handler to just resubmit the failed request to the external system. Once we get the response from the resubmission, we want to continue with merging the output of all 5 and sending it back.
Also, let me know if there will be any issue with the call back operation due to resubmission of the invoke. This is an asynchronous invoke with call back mechanism for response.
    Thank you so much.

  • 11g BPEL Code Deployment Error

    Hi All,
I have migrated a 10g bpel code to 11g. Migration got successful. While compiling got the following error.
Failed to compile bpel generated classes. failure to compile the generated BPEL classes for BPEL process "PROCESSNAME" of composite "default/PROCESSNAME!1.0" The class path setting is incorrect. Ensure that the class path is set correctly. If this happens on the server side, verify that the custom classes or jars which this BPEL process is depending on are deployed correctly. Also verify that the run time is using the same release/version.
Since we are using java embedding in the bpel code, it requires log4j.jar. So added the log4j.jar in the libraries and class path in JDev and when I compiled again, compilation got successful.
When I try to deploy the code to the server, I am getting the following error:
+[08:45:28 PM] Error deploying archive sca_PROCESSNAME_rev1.0.jar to partition "default" on server soa_server1 [m1-18322.wipro.com:8001]+

I guess that it expects the log4j.jar in the server for deployment to be successful. But since the jar is not present in the server, I am getting the error.
There was no error with 10g.
Can anybody help me resolve this issue?
    Thanks & Regards,

    Vishwa,
I know it's been a while since your post, but did you ever find what the problem was with this deployment issue?

  • SOA 11g  Composite Deployment across multiple Instances: Best Practice

    Hi,
We have a requirement where we need to deploy the composite acrocss mutilple instances(DEV,TEST,Production) without JDEV.
We are using SOA11.1.3.3(cluster) and linux OS.
Pls suggest me what is the best practice to deploy the SOA composite.
    Thanks,
    AB

Why there are different ways to deploy the composite in different environment? Depending upon the environment, it's business importance increases and hence access to developers get more restricted and hence there are many ways for deploying. If you are developing an application, you would not like to export a SAR and then login to EM console to deploy it. For a developer it is always very convenient to use IDE itself for deployment and hence JDev is preferably used for Dev instances for deployment.
Once development finishes, developer will check in the artifacts into version control system and if you want to deploy to a test instance then you have to check out the stable version, compile it and package it and then only you can deploy. Hence for test instances, ANT is the preferable mode for deployment. (Remember that developers may not be able to connect to Test environment directly and hence deployment from JDev is not possible)
Once a configuration gets tested in Test env, it's SAR should be checked in into version control system, so that it would not be required to recompile and repackaging of it. This will also make sure that any artifact which is not tested on Test instance, must not go to higher instances (like UAT/PROD). Now in Pre-Prod/UAT/Prod, you may simply access the EM console and deploy the SAR which is already tested in Test instance. Remember that there will be very limited access to such critical environments and hence using Role based access of EM it would be very easy to deploy the resources. Moreover, it is more secure mode of deployment because only those users which have appropriate priviledge, will be able to deploy, and it would also be easier to track the changes.
What is the proc and cons if we use only one way to deploy the composite across the Instances...As such there is no major pros and cons. You may use EM for all environments but it may be a little discomfort for developers/deployers of test environment. You may also use ANT for all the environments but it is not suggested until and unless you have a very good and secure process in place for deployments.
