Deployment of SAP_ESS Fails
Hi all,
We are trying to deploy the SAP_ESS component to our J2EE Engine. We have succesfully deployed the PCUIGP component, but the ESS fails. This is a snippet from the log:

The SDM shows a progress of 100%, but at the end we still encounter some errors:

DASIts giving a unique constraint error.
Try running a select query on das_deploy_dats with id "dd1001". There should be a record already present there.
This kind of error comes when you have imported some tables from another database.

Installation error: Pre Deployment of EM failed.
Grateful of any help to install Grid Control with the following config:
Windows 7 Enterprise Edition 64-bit
Oracle Database 11.2.0.1.0 64-bit EE
Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3.2.0 plus patch WDJ7 although downloaded smart update patch described on here https://support.us.oracle.com/oip/faces/secure/km/DocumentDisplay.jspx?id=1072763.1 from here https://updates.oracle.com/ARULink/PatchDetails/process_form?patch_num=9438213 but it only included 4D53, NIXN and XLXA. No WDJ7, although it’s referred to as “SU Patch [WDJ7]: Mandatory Patch required on WLS 10.3.2 for Oracle Grid Control (GC) 11.1 install Product Oracle WebLogic Server”. So I assume that’s correct?

Deployment issue - Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'
I am attempting to deploy a site from my development PC to my server. I have no issues running the site on the server using VS2010 Express Web in debug. All page queries are working within the debugger. The connection strings are identical between the PC
and Server, except the host name.

However, when using the site normally via IIS, the pages containing data access are failing with a permissions problem. The non-data access pages render normally.

Looking at the SQL2005 instance via SQL Management Studio, I see security folder with Logins under the Server. NTA\NS is listed as a user login. But, I also see similar folders under each
of 3 databases. NTA\NS is not listed as a login specific to my target dB.
My site is for internal (intranet) use only. There is no internet access into my IIS. This is my first deployment into production. I think I only need Windows Authentication but I lack the experience to make a good decision. My goal is to allow domain users
to access pages that produce read only data. But, I also need controlled access to pages that can modify data. I used the native winform template for ASP.NET 4, which includes some roles based security.
How do I grant permissions for internal users on the pages that access SQL data? How does that security model work with the native roles based security? i.e.

You receive either of these error messages specifically when you use integrated security.
To resolve you can use one of below.
Method 1: Programmatically change the security context of the ASP.NET worker process to a user who has the correct SQL Server permissions.
Method 2: Change the default configuration of ASP.NET so that the ASP.NET worker process starts and runs under the context of a user who has the correct permissions in SQL Server.
Method 3: Grant the correct permissions in SQL Server so that the ASPNET account (or NetworkService account, for an application that runs on IIS 6.0) has the appropriate access to the required resources.(Go to the Computer Management >> Local User and
Groups >> Groups >> Right Click and go to properties on IIS_IUSRS >> Add appropriate user.

AndreasI followed this and wacked a bunch of interfaces, rebooted several times, tried running installer as administrator, and tried installing when logged in as a different user. All failed. Looking deep in c:\windows\inf\setupapi.dev.log, it was complaining during device install:

I opened up Device Manager, View | Hidden Devices. I found under Network Adapters a hidden "Unknown device". Right click, removed it, then VPN client installed flawlessly.
I was having re-installation issues since I uninstalled AnyConnect to see if it was interfering with a Windows Update. It wasn't, and then I couldn't reinstall it. But, removing that Unknown Device did the trick. -
Deploying Problem --- Unmarshaller failed

I made a simple application contains of 1 task flow with 1 simple page , now it's time for deploying my application ....
As the document "Fusion Developer’s Guide for Oracle Application Development Framework 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)" Chapter 32 (Deploying Fusion Web Applications) , I followed the instruction .. created deploy descreptor(weblogic-application.xml), created the WAR file and the EAR file.
From the weblogic Admin i created a datasource and tested it successfully.
From JDeveloper I created a connection with my weblogic 10g server.
when i deployed the application I found this message

I need help please coz there is no use of making application without deploying it .
PS. I installed the full Oracle Fusion Middleware ( JDeveloper 11g + Weblogic Server) on windows XP.

AIA Installing and Deploying Demo Application failed:Build.xml not found
Hi,
i am trying to install demo application using following steps
Extract Foundation Pack Demo under <AIA_HOME>.
If not already done so, set environment variables:
For Linux (bash shell)
source <AIA_HOME>/aia_instances/<aia_instance>/bin/aiaenv.sh
For Windows
Navigate to aiaenv.bat located in <AIA_HOME>\aia_instances\<aia_instance>\bin
Run aiaenv.bat
You may have to assign higher memory values in your JVM parameter settings for demo to deploy if you have not set the maximum possible value already. Use the following three steps as guidance to configure JVM parameters:
Navigate to <Middleware home>\user_projects\domains\<domain_name>\bin
Update the following parameter in the setSOADomainEnv.sh (for Linux) and setSOADomainEnv.cmd (for Windows) file:
USER_MEM_ARGS=""-Xms2048M -Xmx2048M -XX:PermSize=256M -XX:MaxPermSize=512M -Xmn1228M -XX:SurvivorRatio=10""
Note: These are recommended values while using Sun JVM. Actual values that you set depend on your system configurations. When running on dedicated hosts, you can set the JVM heap size as high as possible. Higher value results in better performance. However this number is constrained by the operating system's addressable memory space.
Restart SOA server
Run the deployment script:
At the command line prompt, run the following command for your platform:

Netboot - worked with Deploy Studio, now fails?
Hello everyone.
Up until now I've been using Deploystudio to manage all my builds, however I've decided to try out a Netinstall path instead. I have my Netinstall image created, it's a basic workflow but does include creation of some users, and removes access to printer drivers and languages on install. NFS is running, Netboot is running, and as I say up to now my Deploy Studio system on this exact machine has worked a charm.
Netinstall fails. The client (brand new Mac Mini 2010 Slim) connects to the server (boot with option, choose the Net install) and the server logs confirm this. No errors are shown in the logs as far as I can see. However, after 20-30 seconds I get the dreaded crossed out circle.
I'm creating my Net Install image from a locked DMG rather than optical media. The DMG was taken from a retail, non system specific DVD. I've added the client as an allowed system, server's been rebooted etc. Any ideas, things I should look for?
Thanks, A.Sadly, there is no newer retail disk so, that option is out. You could, however, make a CPU specific install image for the mini by using the disk it came with (I'm assuming it came with a disk... which it may not have)

JBOSS WONT DEPLOY BC4J.EAR - FAILS
Following instructions found elsewhere in OTN, I have set up JBOSS to use BC4J by copying relevant files to the JBOSSHOME/lib/ext folder and by deploying BC4J.EAR into the JBOSS deploy folder. Deployment fails mentioning that it is missing a class ...emd.EMDServlet. This class appears in emd.jar and BC4JHTML.jar alike, probably the latter is relevant (not sure). Has anyone else had trouble deploying BC4J.EAR? Using BC4J.EAR from JDeveloper 9.0.3.

I check the configuration of the reporting services configuration, all see OK. I probe the URL in the server that I want to configure like a monitoring reporter
and I can explorer and administrate the Reporting Services. The firewall into the servers is off.

Press OK –> Press Action –> Press
Topology –> Press Publish
Press Next
Press Next –> This should complete successfully –> Press
Finish
Launch Lync Deployment Wizard
Press Yes –> Click Deploy Monitoring Reports
Press Next
Press Specify a User Account and Password that has rights to the instance –> Press Next
Press Specify User Group (I will be using the default group) –> Press
Next
Press Finish
Launch the Lync Server Control Panel
Login with an account that is apart of the CSAdministrator
Click View Monitoring reports –> Click your SQL Server FQDN

Deployment error - Module failed to deploy - WLS 9.2
I am attempting to deploy an EAR project from Workshop and it keeps failing. The error I keep getting is "referenced library module [email protected] failed to deploy". When I tried a different EAR project that I know I have deployed previously without a problem I get a similar error: "referenced library module [email protected] failed to deploy". Anyone have any idea what this problem could be? Is it a problem with the server or the project? Thanks.

Yes there was a problem in the deployment descriptor. The issue is how WebLogic 9.0 looks for the web-services.xml or the webservices.xml file. In version 9.0, WLS looks for the webservices file first then the web-services file second. Therefore, one can not keep two files (WAS and WLS) in the same directory.
