Deployment - reg

Hi,
I deployed my project in standalone server successfully by following the below document.
ADF Deployment Guide: How-To Install & Configure
WebLogic Server to Run ADF 11g Applications in Production
An Oracle JDeveloper How-To Document
Written by Dana Singleterry, Oracle Corporation
March, 2011
Now, I need to deploy without depending on Jdev Tool. I guess, it should be done by using script. I dont ve any idea in script. Pls suggest me some method or document for deploying in script.
Thanks
-raka

Hi,
Always mention your JDev version.
You can use ojdeploy to deploy the app.
Check out this documentation : http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/web.1111/e15470/deploy.htm#ADFAG20592
To get more info, google on ojdeploy and you would get plenty of resources.

  • Pushing a 64 bit registry key

    Hi Guys,
I am trying to push a reg key to 64 bit systems that falls in the wow6432node folder.  I have verified it works if I run it locally with the command
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\regedit.exe /s "HKLM Field Mappings.reg".   I have tried pushing this using the regedit in system32 and syswow64.
I have tried pushing this as an application and a package in SCCM, both complete and say installed but I do not have the entry in the local registry.
    Any ideas ?

    Hi,
I recommend you check the log file execmgr.log.
Also, you could download a tool called “Reg2exe”
This is small tool that let you change reg keys to exe, then you could deploy them as exe program with SCCM.
Here is a similar post for your reference.
Deployed Reg Edit says it's successful in execmgr.log. But, it still doesn't show up in the registry on the client machine. What am I missing?

  • Reg: Error while deploying the Model

    Hello All,
I developed a Model in the VC.
The compilation of the model was successful.
But when I tried to deploy the model I'm getting an Error message saying :
"Error in executing a process for Flex compilation, Not enough space" .
Can anyone tell me what to do to resolve this problem ?
    Regards,
    Deepu.K

    Hi colleagues,
We also encountered this problem here at our customer´s system .
We told the basis administrators to increase the disk space which did not solve our problem, though.
After successfully compiling the vc model
Deploying with FLEX2 results in an error as follows:
    "Process is not executed!"
while deploying with flex1 resulits in the error
"Error in executing a process for Flex compilation, Not enough space"
Since everything has been working smoothly for the last months until now,
we wonder how this error has suddenly occured.
Does anyone have an idea how to trace the error or has anyone encountered this error, too?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
It depends whether you are using JDI or not.
    1) If you use JDI, you only have to create an External Library DC and add the jxl.jar per Drap&Drop in Navigation panel to the DC. Add the file also to the public part. In the Web Dynpro DC add the External Library DC as used DC and deploy both DCs on the server.
The only error you can make is to deploy the components using "Deploy new archive and run..." -> this command won't deploy the jar and you have the same result as now. You have do build & deploy it step-by-step (Development Component -> Build..., Development Component -> Deploy).
    2) If you are not using JDI and you are using local DC's then you have to do like this
Take one Library project and add jxl.jar to it, build and deploy.
Add this as library reference to your WebDynpro project.
    To do it,
RightClick on your project> properties> WebDynproReferences> choose LibraryReferences tab> Click on Add> Now give the name of Library project here> Ok
    Build the DC and deploy...
    Hope this helps you...

    Saleem

  • Reg first JSF page deployment

    hi,
    when I try to run my firstjsf application it says the following error;
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: null(-1,-1) This absolute uri (http://java.sun.com/jsf/html) cannot be resolved in either web.xml or the jar files deployed with this application
I think, this error means that there is no mapping for the <tag-uri> to the "tld" file in web.xml, so
I copy the "html_basic.tld" and "jsf_core.tld" into my application path and map it in web.xml
still the same error occures... how to resolve this?
    More question;
    - I found that no uri mapping in web.xml file in the sample jsf pages provided by jsf-1.1 specification? Is this mapping is necessary one or not?
    regards,
    arun.

I have resolved myself what i have asked before in this forum...
Actually the URL mapping to the TLD file is set in jsf-api.jar and jsf-impl.jar files, So no need to set the taglib mapping tags in "web.xml".
And I have tested my sample application both in Tomcat 4.1.x and Tomcat 5.0.x, it's works fine...
Any way thanks to this forum to expose various ways to identify the bugs when deploying JSF web application into the server.

    Dear All,
How to deploy the EJB in 9iAs Application server. i want the document for the same.

Vijay -- I would start by looking at the information available on OTN. I would especially look at the how-tos which give
step by step instructions as well as looking at the documentation that is there. That will probably get you started.
A good starting link is http://otn.oracle.com/tech/java/oc4j/content.html

    Hi Karthick and Lakshmi
    Thanks for the reply
Karthick: I have referred to the weblog which you have sent
I have few doubts which are listed below:
In the weblog it has mentioned that we should have the user name which is same as in web console but <b>we are working on NWA</b> and how to get the device ID.
From Where do we can get the setting details
    Host - J2EE host -
    port -J2EE port --- ??
    System- WebAS system --- ??
After giving the above details, I have saved the things and went back to home page
Started Synch.. - > asked for a password -- > then I got few messages as listed below
    • Synchronization started
    • Connection set up (without proxy) to: http://mytecsap05:50100/meSync/servlet/meSync?~sysid=XIM&
    • Connection to server failed.
    • Synchronisation problems: Transport-layer (http) sync exception raised (root cause: Exception while synchronizing (java.io.IOException: Not in GZIP format))
and a continue button along with the above mentioned messages
In order to rectify the above message <b>I want to check the settings details once again</b>
So Please tell me how to check the settings details and how to move further
<b>Karthick :</b> Can I have your phone number inorder to communicate to you once and get clarified with my doubts on MI.

  • Reg:Deploy objects to Cloud

    Hi !
I had reset the sftp user password .
And using all the details " SFTP username , password & hostname " properly with port 22.
But I am getting the error "unable to connect to sftp server with provided details. Ensure that the correct details are saved for connection."

    Hello,
Usually, the SFTP login error is caused by one of the following:
Not being able to establish a network connection to the SFTP server,
    Invalid login credentials.
Can you confirm that you, in fact, can establish a network connection to the SFTP server / port listed on your My Services / Service Detail page? Using a command line tool like "nc" or "telnet" will show this, or perhaps using a different SFTP client program. Does your local network environment require proxy for outbound network requests, and if so, did you configure the correct proxy in the SFTP client?
Which SFTP client program are you using? Does the error message appear relatively quickly, or there is a considerable delay? Which SFTP server are you connecting to?
There are 2 SFTP accounts associated with your service (domain account and service account). Have you tried both of them (after resetting the password)?
    Thanks,
    Vlad

    Hi,
Could not diagonise from this stack trace alone. But what doubt is that there is something wrong with cardinality in your web service. Otherwise something may have gone wrong like you mishandling a list or some mismatch like that.

Re: Unable to find class oracle.adf.controller.faces.lifecycle.ADFPhaseListener
so I try to deploy it in a standalone weblogic but this different problem appear to me,I think all this problems because of migration ADF faces to Apache trinanad although I fixed all my code after migration and compile it without any problems.can I deploy my app to weblogic 10 from my Jdeveloper 10g without migrating my Application To Apache?

  • Deploying MS Office 2013 with GPO

OK i would like to deploy office 2013 via GPO, i finally have been able to get the script to work however there is one more detail i need to get figured out.... How can i incorporate into the script so that it will only run once...  my script is below
and does the following, it uninstalls office 2010 whether it be 32bit or 64bit then silently installs office 2013 as a startup GPO... how would the script look if i'd like to add so that it looks for a specific txt file that if its there it does nothing and
if it's not it runs install script and perhaps at end of install script maybe it creates that txt file... I need help on the best way to just "RUNONCE"
    here is my script:
    "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\Office Setup Controller\setup.exe" /uninstall ProPlus /config "\\****\Office13\Uni_Office_10\SilentUninstall.xml"
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\Office Setup Controller\setup.exe" /uninstall ProPlus /config "\\****\Office13\Uni_Office_10\SilentUninstall.xml"

REM If 0 or other was returned, the product was found or another error occurred. Do nothing.
    :End
    Endlocal

The problem with Office 2010 and later is that it is not designed to be installed remotely or by a script. You need to create an install spec and set up some prerequisites fist.  If you ten follow the instructions for using a GPO to deploy Office
you will not need to  use a "RunOnce" key or anything else.
Note that eh RunOnce key take a command or batch and command and is deleted as soon as it is executed.  The problem you have to solve is how to set the RunOnce key to begin with.
You really must use the information in the links posted for Office deployment.  You cannot do an end run around this with any success.  If you search for forum posts on this you will see that many have been exactly where you are.  Don't wast
your time.  Follow the instructions as posted in the Office forum and on the TechNet link.  YOu will find it is actually quite easy and very flexible once you understand the steps.

  • (re)pushing and removing network printers deployed through GP

    Hi,
We're deploying our printers through Print Management, "Deploy with Group Policy" per user.
All seems to be working pretty well, but I have a few questions:
    1. How can a client remove the printers that were pushed? I've tried a batch script that does the following:
    net stop spooler
    REG DELETE HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers\Connections\,,NTCW9,A0_HP4015_BW /f
    net start spooler
Although messy, it works, but I wonder if there's a different approach?
Our AD is built in a way that all users from an office belong to the same OU, so changing the GPO settings is not an option. Allowing users to remove GP pushed printers only occurs very rarely, so no elaborate change should be required.
    2. If the above script runs, I notice that the printers are not pushed again to the client. I've tried this with two users. Is there a way to export the pushed printers to something the user can run locally? (script or anything)

First of all this is a strange request since you are asking how to manually undo a group policy setting that you are purposefully deploying to the end user.  But anyway, if I were tasked with this dilemma and I had users that just couldn't bear
to be mapped to a printer they don't want to use I would just change the policy so it doesn't apply to all "Authenticated Users" and use group membership instead.  By the way, is this a technical issue you are trying to solve, or are your end
users complaining cause they have too many printers in their printer selection menu?
