Dequeue messages from B2B

Hi,
Is it possible to select a bunch of messages from IP_IN_QUEUE based on a criteria (ex: all messages from a particular consumer name in one GO) ?
If yes how and where to put the criteria condition?
Thanks,
Phani

  • BPEL Process unable to read Inbound messages from B2B Inbound IP_IN_QUEUE

    Hi Greetings.
    I am working on setting up trading partners at a customer place using BPEL and B2B. BPEL is 10.1.3 and B2B is 10.1.2. The previous BPEL developers developed some processes and deployed them to Development environment. B2B is also set up by them. Lets say the customer name is Pet Safe who is the host trading partner and the remote trading partner is Pet Smart. PetSmart sends Purchase Orders (850s) using EDI over Internet via AS2 connection. My B2B server has received the test PO and sent back the Functional Acknowledgement (997) to the Remote Trading partner. I can see the messages in TIP_BUSINESSMESSAGE_RT in B2B schema of the database which Oracle 10g.
    There is a BPEL process called RSCProcess850. It has been developed by using JDeveloper 10g. This process has a AQ adapter configured in the source code of BPEL. It uses a managed connection factory to connect to the Adapter framework and makes a connection to the database, which in turn talks to the EIS to dequeue the messages in B2B inbound queues. This process dequeus the messages and transforms the EDI and puts the PO details into Oracle e-business Suite tables. There is another process called SendInvoice which is configured to a Data Base adapter which polls a table in the Data BAse and sends the invoice to the B2B schema by enqueing the data to OutBound queues of B2B schema. I tried creating a connection factory using Enterprize manage console for both AQ Adapter and DB Adapter but when restarted the server it is unable to load all the BPEL process because the source code of BPEL is mismathching the password. So I have deleted the connection factories that are created suing em console. These connection factories insert an entry in oc4j-ra.xml files for both AQ Adapter and DB adapter. Once I have deleted them and restarted the server all the processes are loading but the problem is the BPEL process is neither dequeueing or enqueueing the messages. There are no errors thrown in the BPEL Domain logs also. The test PO order details are not there in the staging tables of the e-business tables, which means that the BPEL process are not able to DeQ or EnQ using the adapters. How do I know whether the adapter is fetchingthe data from staging tables or not? I am nearing my deadline but unable to proceed I am stuck here. Any sort of help or approach is highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    To test whether the messgae is ENQ or DEQ u can use the sql given in thte B2B user guide.

  • Dequeueing message from xmltype queue

    I have the queue build upon the XMLType (too complex to use it as a payload). When I'm trying to dequeue messages with ESB AQ Adapter they are not passing through. When building the service adapter I've specified the same schema file as destination payload type so it's rather impossible to have any differences. Is it necessary to do anything special (transformations or so) to make it working ?

    This is not a supported feature. The best solution is to write a java callout to pull the message from the queue.

  • Multiple Processes dequeuing messages from same queue

    Hi,
    I have 2 Processes that are listening on the same queue to dequeu the messages. How can i make sure each process picks the message intended for that process. What setting do I need so that each process picks the right message not all the messages.
    As some messages needs to be processed by Process1 and some messages by Process2.
    Thanks

    I would like answer to this too! The only way I can solve this is by having 2 queues.
    As far as I can figure out, the dequeue just picks up the next available message. Both processes can dequeue the same message if you make the queue multiple consumer.
    The processes that picks up the message can put it back if the it is not meant for itself - but this is an inefficient and potentially ineffective solution.

    Hi All,
    I am using XE database and I have created the datasource and JNDI for it in Weblogic Console. I am giving this databse connection in AQ Adapter. • Message from the IP_IN_QUEUE is automatically dequed

    Hi all,
    There are 2 messages in the IP_IN_QUEUE. I tried to dequeue it from BPEL using the AQ Adapter, but it is not dequeing. One of the reason could be the Payload structure of the existing messages in the IP_IN_QUEUE is different from the Payload structure of the schema imported in the BPEL Designer.
    So I thought of Enqueue a new message into the IP_IN_QUEUE and then thought of dequeue with the same message structure from BPEL thru AQ Adapter.
    I am able to enqueue a new message. I can able to see a new record inserted into the table IP_QTAB for the queue IP_IN_QUEUE, corresponding to this new enqueue message. But after some times, this message is automatically dequeued from IP_IN_QUEUE(i.e the corresponding row is automatically removed IP_QTAB)
    Can any one tell me how the message can be automatically dequeued from IP_IN_QUEUE. Also suggest if there are any way to find what are all the messages dequeued from IP_IN_QUEUE and what process dequeues them.
    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Hi,
    There are no automatic processes that dequeue messages from the IP_IN_QUEUE. When you dequeue a message from the IP_IN_QUEUE, you must make sure that the consumer name matches. The default consumer name is b2buser when B2B Server enqueues to the IP_IN_QUEUE. However, the default can be overrided by the Document Routing ID in the Document Definition Parameters page. If you are enqueuing from BPEL, you may have selected something totally different. I do not know of ways to track how the message is dequeued. You may want to post that question to the Oracle AQ forum.
    One suggestion is setup the tutorial so that you have the end to end scenario working. You can use the deq.bat or deq.sh in the $ORACLE_HOME/ip/tutorial/X12/runtime directory (for example, if you use the X12 tutorial) to dequeue messages from IP_IN_QUEUE. The default consumer name b2buser is assumed. After you are able to do that, then you want to try dequeueing using BPEL.

  • Opaque message from AQ adapter

    My bpel process dequeue message from AQ, and route the message to other processes according to the information in IP_MSG_TYPE.
    The message received is base64-encoded, how should I decoded it and pass it on as plain xml? (the message enqueued is in xml format)
    It should be simple, but i just dunno how, pls help~

    You could use some embedded java.

  • Publish to a AQ from B2B server

    I want t publish a message from B2B using java callout. How do i configure connection factories on 10.1.2 OAS. In current OAS we deploy the AQResourceAdapter, Can we deploy the same on OAS10.1.2 but we dont have a option of deploying a RAR file on OAS10.1.2.
    Can you please guie me how to configure connection factory on OAS10.1.2 or guide me to a documentation which will help me in setting up the same
    Thanks

    Hi ,
    The connection factories defined in the App server is not available in the callout. you have to create connections directly from the callout.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Code sample to dequeue messages

    I am looking for a code sample to dequeue messages from CRM OD? How do I retrieve the xml file after it is generated. Do I need to use a web service to retrieve that?
    Preference would be to get the code snippet in java, but not necessary.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    I'm assuming you are referring to integration event messages? If so, then yes, you do need to use WS in order to retrieve them from CRMOD. Please refer to the CRM On Demand online help for Integration Events. It will provide details on downloading the WSDL file for Integration Events and the schema files which are required to process the events once they are retrieved. The WS User Guide contains details regarding the use of the GetEvents and DeleteEvents methods to retrieve and delete events from the queue.
    Sorry, I don't currently have a code sample that I can provide.
    Thanks,
    Sean

    Thanks,
    Ravindra.

    Hi Ravindra,
    Which mode of connectivity are you trying (credential based / .bindings based)
    MQ connectivity  support is provided via JMS offering of Oracle B2B. This blog post will provide you the steps for the same - https://blogs.oracle.com/oracleb2bgurus/entry/b2b_communication_using_ibm_mq
    Please ensure to provide the proper values for connection factory and other details in JMS configuration in B2B

  • How to send information/warning message from CRM to B2B application

    Hi,
    I need to send information/warning mesage from CRM to B2B application.
    I am using FM CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT to send the required message to application log first and then implemented a BADI called CRM_ISA_BASKET_MSGS for reading that message to dispay it in Internet Sales.
    When I am passing message type as E in FM CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT ,it is correctly showing it in B2B internet sales application as an error message but when I tried to pass message type as I/W it is not dispaying the message in B2B internet sales application although that information/warning message is being displayed in application log in CRM
    Can anyone pls provide some useful inputs for passing information or warning message type from CRM to Internet Sales allpication??
    BR,
    Bykam

    You need to fire the action from B2B, maybe when the b2b is all loaded you can call a FM in CRM that will handle some validations, this FM will return a result, store it in a session attribute, and put a condition in the JSP that will handle the response, inside this condition (if the attribute session is not empty) print a block, a label or something in html, css class will help to put some colors and maybe make a custom alert block.

  • Dequeue with OCCI does not remove the message from the queue

    Hey there,
    I have this problem where no matter what dequeue option I try the messages never seem to be removed from the queue... I tried looking around and found only a similar un-answered question...
    Thanks in advance...
    void TryAnydataDequeue(oracle::occi::Connection * conn)
         try
              std::cout << "Dequeue Commence..." << std::endl;
              Consumer cons(conn);
              //Settings de dequeue
              cons.setCorrelationId("SPPC");
              cons.setQueueName("Anydata_queue");
              cons.setConsumerName("SNOOP");
              cons.setDequeueMode(cons.DEQ_REMOVE);
              //cons.setDequeueMode(cons.DEQ_LOCKED);
              std::cout << "Reception du message..." << std::endl;
              Message m2 = cons.receive(Message::ANYDATA);
              AnyData any(conn);
              any = m2.getAnyData();
              if(!any.isNull())
                   oracle::occi::TypeCode type = any.getType();
                   if(type == OCCI_TYPECODE_VARCHAR2)
                        std::string msg = any.getAsString();
                        std::cout << "Message Reçu: ";
                        std::cout << msg << std::endl;
                   else
                        std::cout << "Format du message invalide..." << std::endl;
                   std::cout << "Fin du message... (Press a key)" << std::endl;
              else
                   std::cout << "Message invalide..." << std::endl;
              System::String * theInput = System::Console::ReadLine();
         catch(SQLException ex)
              std::cout << "Exception: " << ex.getErrorCode() << " - " << ex.getMessage() << std::endl;
              System::String * tnput = System::Console::ReadLine();
    }

    The message from the queue will be removed when you do a commit after a successful dequeue call, depending upon your message retention settings.
    After you have done this processing and successfully performed a commit, what is the output of the following query:
    SQL> connect AQADMIN/password
    SQL> select msg_state from aq$<your_queue_table_name_goes_here> ;?
    If it is PROCESSED, check your queue retention settings.
    Additionally, make sure that the init.ora parameter AQ_TM_PROCESSES is set to a NON-ZERO value for this to happen.

    General create message error.Above error points that B2B is not able to form the message as per exchange protocol being used. It may happen because of misconfiguration. Please paste the error details here.
    MSG_WAIT_TRANSMITMessage may go into MSG_WAIT_TRANSMIT status because of many reasons. Please check the log to find any errors.

  • Dequeuing a Map message from AQ using Java/JMS

    I have a queue in Oracle AQ, created from a queue table with queue_payload_type of SYS.AQ$_JMS_MAP_MESSAGE. I can successfully enqueue a Map message using PL/SQL, but when I try to read a message from the queue using the JMS API (with the Oracle AQ JMS provider JARs) in a standalone Java program, the message is not successfully read. However, the RETRY_COUNT in the queue table is incremented each time I try to read from the queue. I do not receive any error messages on the client side.
    If I change the queue_payload_type of the queue table to SYS.AQ$_JMS_TEXT_MESSAGE instead and enqueue a text message using PL/SQL, I can read the text message successfully in the standalone Java program using JMS. The message is removed from the queue and everything works fine.
    Most Oracle AQ/JMS examples I've found on the web involve text messages. Has anyone been able to read a Map message from an Oracle AQ queue using JMS, or is there a known issue with Map messages?
    I'm running Oracle 10g Standard Edition version 10.2.0.1.0 on Windows XP.
    Thanks for your help,
    Marty

    While you are awaiting an answer you might want to consider applying the 10.2.0.4 patch. Your version is several years old and patches are free.
