Derive the function values

Question

Hi All,
I have got functions stored in the a column. while selecting it I have to get the result of the function instead of the function itself.
could you please let me know how to achieve this. I tried searching and found evaluate function but I am not sure if that is the right function I should be using.

Below is a rough implementation according to my understanding of your requirement:

If you do not wish to call Oracle functions, then you would have to do Dynamic SQL Block creation i.e. BEGIN func/proc_name; END;
