Deserializer found to deserialize

Anybody knows why I would get this message Deserializer found to deserialize? I
am using apache soap in weblogic. Each time I use a custom Serializer and deserializer
I am getting Deserializer found to deserialize at apache soap servlet router.
Your help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

This looks more like an apache SOAP question and i think
you have a better change of getting answer if you post this
in the apache mailing list.
Also, WLS 7.0 or later comes with a much better soap stack.
Please give it a try:

    Ok, this sounds like a known bug ( Bug 5908689 ) in 10.1.3.1, but this was specific to non-Windows platforms. Are you on Linux/Solaris or any other platform? It might or might not be the same problem you are hitting but it does seem quite close (can't say for sure without a close investigation, I am afraid!)
    In any case, this bug is fixed in the 10.1.3.4 patchset (besides quite a few other fixes and enhancements) - so would recommend you to first apply the 10.1.3.4 patchset and retest. The patchset is available on My Oracle Support (formerly Metalink) under Patch 7272722. Or you could go a step ahead, and apply the 10.1.3.5 patchset (Patch 8626084) instead which is the latest patchset for OracleAS 10.1.3.x.

  • Web-service client in JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0 -- No Deserializer found...

    Hi,
    I'm trying to connect to a web-service that has a wsdl on this url:
    http://shimmer.oslo.dnmi.no/metdata/MetDataService?WSDL
    I can reach this site from a browser.
    In the Connection Manager I create a new 'UDDI Registry' connection, and type in the url above as the 'Inquiry endpoint url'. When I try to test the connection I get the folowing error:
    Testing connection with no proxy...
    Contacting http://shimmer.oslo.dnmi.no/metdata/MetDataService?WSDL...
    The inquiry endpoint could not be contacted. Test failed.
    No Deserializer found to deserialize a &apos;urn:uddi-org:api_v2:name&apos; using encoding style &apos;null&apos;. [java.lang.IllegalArgumentException]
    Have I missed something here ? I just want to connect to a public web-service, if someone could point me in the right direction I would be happy...
    Regards
    Erik

    Hi,
    actually this URL is non that points to a UDDI but to a Web Service directly. So you can build a WS client for this WSDL file by providing the URL in teh Web Services field

  • Class not found during deserialization of descriptor UserSession

    I am using JDeveloper 3.1.1.2 (build 767) to deploy an EJB to Oracle 8.1.6 and I get the following error message....
    Generating EJBHome and EJBObject on the server...
    Class not found during deserialization of descriptor UserSession
    *** Errors occurred while deploying the EJB to JServer ***
    *** Deployment completed ***
    I've tried
    a) to deploy all the classes in the project,
    b) create a new project step by step,
    c) use 'deployejb' and I still get the same error...
    Can anyone help? Thanks.

    Yep, JDeveloper auto generates the <>.ejb and it is a binary file.
    Seems a pretty specific error message....any help available from the JDev team??

    I had a similar problem to this when trying to connect a Java Client to a C-Sharp Server. Apparently M$ has issues with allowing anyone other than their products to connect to their server. I had to modify their server to list the namespace for each component of soap document. By default, the body of M$ looks like this....
    <soap:Body>
    <types:HelloWorld xsi:type="types:HelloWorld">
    <name xsi:type="xsd:string">string</name>
    </types:HelloWorld>
    </soap:Body>
    Wheras... with Java, you need to the namespace listed for each element... so the body would look like this:
    <soap:Body soap:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
    <types:HelloWorld xsi:type="types:HelloWorld">
    <name xsi:type="xsd:string">string</name>
    </types:HelloWorld>
    </soap:Body>
    This may or may not help you, but it took me a while to discover it, so maybe it is something wrong with the server, not your code.

  • Debugging Deserialization Errors Between AIR and BlazeDS on ColdFusion using ORM

    Now that I am using CF + ORM for most of my Flex and AIR projects, I've had a much more difficult time with the deserialization of objects from AS to CF. The errors thrown by BlazeDS are not helpful at all, and not indicative of the true issue. cfgatewayadapter.jar is a closed source, and make it even more difficult, because it is the culprit in these issues. These issues can sometimes take a full day or two to resolve because the only way I've seen to debug is to start removing code line by line until the thing works. Huge waste of time.
    The problem stems from the fact that during deserlization CF barfs when something doesnt match. Instead of throwing a useful error, it proclaims the CFC doesnt exist serverside. The developer then has to go through each componenty property-by-property to try to determine where the problem is.
    What we need is something more specific to what the actual problem is. I've not found an adequate way to debug this, and it's causing me to seriously considering changing the backend to Groovy + Granite so I can get the control I need. Really, Adobe just needs to open up the source on cfgatewayadapter or put some time into refining it so that it throws accurate errors.
    Examing the error below, one would think that the CFC does not exist. However, if you run the same examples from CFML and pass it an instance of StreamProvider it works fine.
    [BlazeDS]Error deserializing client message.
    coldfusion.runtime.CfJspPage$NoSuchTemplateException: Could not find the ColdFusion component or interface StreamProvider.

    does MySQL work by itself? did you try connecting to your

    also, make sure you do not have several

    of different
    versions - make sure there is only ONE, preferably the latest
    one,

    if i remember correctly, the exception you get in the error
    is usually
    caused by incorrect/old mysql connector drivers...

The webservice has a testRule method that accepts a String buf as input. For now, the only thing the webservice does is return a 'do nothing' string. This works fine:
    When deployed the testpage generates the following SOAP message:
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://carrental/types/">
    <ns1:testRuleElement>
    <ns1:buf>my xml message</ns1:buf>
    </ns1:testRuleElement>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    The SOAP response is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:ns0="http://carrental/types/"><env:Body><ns0:testRuleResponseElement><ns0:result>do nothing...</ns0:result></ns0:testRuleResponseElement></env:Body></env:Envelope>
    In BPEL Designer I create a new asynchronous process ValidateBR, with a partnerlink for the webservice, based on the following WSDL file:
    <definitions
    name="Rent"
    targetNamespace="http://carrental/"
    xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"

    Hi,
    Reading only is not possible..
    I will be still more clear in my question this time..
    I have deployed my bpel. My receiveInputVariable is of type xsd:string.
    So when i run the bpel in my console, i will be asked to give input as string data.
    So when i go to the XMLView, it will be like this.
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Sabari_POC_Appln/DOM_Parser/ConvertToBLOB">
              <ns1:process>
                   <ns1:input></ns1:input>
    </ns1:process>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    Now, i am going to give my input like this. --- which leads to error.
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Sabari_POC_Appln/DOM_Parser/ConvertToBLOB">
              <ns1:process>
                   <ns1:input>

    *</project>*
    *</projects>*
    </ns1:input>
    </ns1:process>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    This xml is not accepted as string input.. so kindly suggest me some other solution.
    I also tried.. like.. making my receiveInputVariable of type xsd:anyType, it also dint help. same error occurred.
    Thanks,

  • Web Service: XMLUnmarshalException: XML Deserialization Error

    Hi,
    I am trying to use a complex web structure in web service.
    I am simply trying to display some data from that web service in my view.
    I am getting the foll error:
    <b>
    Service call exception; nested exception is:
         com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.XmlUnmarshalException: XML Deserialization Error. XML is not valid. Element [http://www.siebel.com/xml/Account Interface]<Account> is required in <SiebelMessage> but can not be found.[Ljava.lang.StackTraceElement;@2fe4e7
    </b>
    I have gone thru most of the posts but they all have XMLMarshalException and not XMLUnmarshalException.
    Any inputs please?
    Regards,
    Dev

    Hi Bala,
    I tried your suggestion but that did not work!
    I am not trying to test that web service via WSNavigator.
    Problem is my service does not come there once i deploy it.
    I am a newbie to WebServices so please correct me where am I wrong in these steps:
    1. I create a Deployable Proxy Project
    2. Then, i create a new Client Proxy Definition
    3. I enter pkg name, Proxy name, choose Local System. Then i give the WSDL location and finally press Finish.
    (It has created several files including ClientAPI.jar)
    4. Lastly, i chose Build EAR and deployed it.
    But i cannot see my web service in that list!
    Can you please help me in checking the request-response cycle for this web service.
    Regards,
    Dev

    using the getString() method works fine but getTestBean() doesnt;
    any clue on this?
    thanks

    Hi,
    I'm experiencing exactly the same problem as you ...
    The only fix I found is to use static invocation ... with static invocation, WSCompile generates a deserializer and everything works fine, no mure NullPointer exception ...
    With dynamic invocation as you are trying to manage here, I didn't find any way to tell the client to use the deserializer generated with wscompile ...
    Does anyone know how to do it ?
    Thanks,
    Olivier

  • Deserialization issues in CEP environment

    Hi,
    I'm running Coherence in a CEP environment, though I'm not making use of the CEP API inside the Spring context. The cache is initialized in this most basic way:
    CacheFactory.getCache(SomeAbstract.class);
    It resides in bundleA, where SomeAbstractBase.class also is. There are several implementations of this base class across multiple bundles, and I would like to make use of Coherence to store these instances.
    I was expecting deserialization issues so I figured this would work, but it doesn't. What am I doing wrong here? What is the best approach to do this?
        Map<Long, ClassLoader> classLoaderMap = new HashMap<Long, ClassLoader>();
        public SomeAbstractBase put(SomeAbstractBase so) {
            ClassLoader old = cache.getCacheService().getContextClassLoader();
            try {
                cache.getCacheService().setContextClassLoader(so.getClass().getClassLoader());
                classLoaders.put(so.getId(), so.getClass().getClassLoader());
                return (SomeAbstractBase) cache.put(so.getId(), so);
            } finally {
                cache.getCacheService().setContextClassLoader(old);
       public SomeAbstractBase get(Long id) {
            ClassLoader old = cache.getCacheService().getContextClassLoader();
            try {
                cache.getCacheService().setContextClassLoader(classLoaderMap.get(id));
                return (SomeAbstractBase) cache.get(id);
            } finally {
                cache.getCacheService().setContextClassLoader(old);
       }

    Hi Andy,

    Setting the CCL of the CacheService is a one-shot deal, it cannot actually be changed once set (you have to shutdown the service and restart to do something different).Completely forgot about this as you mentioned in another thread.
    You can also set the bundle CL as the CCL for invocations, but this may not always be necessary.How do I do this? I want it to be flexible enough to accomodate any future implementation that will be deployed in the osgi environment.Implement BeanClassLoaderAware, then when you make the call do something like:
    ClassLoader saveCcl = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader();
    try {
    Thread.currentThread().setContextClassLoader(beanClassLoader);
    // do call here
    } finally {
    Thread.currentThread().setContextClassLoader(saveCcl);
    Note that if you are invoking OSGi services then Spring-DM will do this for you if you set the appropriate attribute on the reference definition.
    We use hessian in our product which has much the same requirements as you and we actually found that it was difficult to avoid doing DynamicImport-Package: * in the bundle doing the serialization.

    I cant believe this little comment has been so helpful!
    But yes it is:
    I explain, despite my efforts to find, googled it, forums, faqs, etc...
    no where it mentionned the manifest.fm file is... INSIDE the .jar!
    Your comment "a zip" made me attempt to open it with winrar, and I found a manifest.fm file inside!
    So far I was editing the one at the "source" of my project and rebuilding it with netbeans.
    I am going to try that now.
    Actually.... :( no its mentionning my main class!
