DetachCurrentThread corrupts, DestroyJavaVM waits!

Hello Guys!
In my static library I create 2 threads. ThreadX and ThreadY.
Both TheadX and ThreadY make JNI calls to a DLL.
ThreadX and ThreadY are as follows:
ThreadX                                     ThreadY
AttachCurrentThread                         AttachCurrentThread
JNI Calls                                   JNI Calls
DetachCurrentThread                         DetachCurrentThread
-------                                     ------- However, ThreadY exits first (i.e. calls ThreadY's DetachCurrentThread), after this ThreadX's further calls to JNI fails (BAD ACCESS Error)
Any solution for this??
Now if I remove DetachCurrentThread call from these 2 threads, then my DestroyJavaVM waits for infinite time.
And if I mistake not, even after Detaching both the Threads, DestroyJavaVM still waits for release of some more resources/handles. (not very sure about this one)
Any pointers?

  • Corrupt Download - wait and try again?

    I have joined Creative Cloud and downloaded AAM. When I try and install a programme it runs 50-60% of the download before an error message appears saying the "download is corrupt, wait a few minutes and try again". I have tried half a dozen times with each programme. Each time I have logged off AAM and shut-down/rebooted. All to no avail. Am working on a Mac Book Pro running 10.6.8, 2.66 Intel core i7 and 8GB RAM. Would be grateful for any avice so I can get going...

  • ORA-19566: exceeded limit of 0 corrupt blocks

    Hi All,
    We have been encountering some issues with RMAN backup; it has been erroring out with same errors (max corrupt blocks). As of now, I ran the db verify for affected files and found that indexes are failing. When I tried to find out the indexes from extent views, I was unable to find it. Looks like these blocks are in free space as I found it and also the V$backup corruption view shows the logical corruption.

    Seems like I have 1 page failing. I try to run this script:

    No rows returned.
    Then, I try to run this script:

    from dba_free_space

    Resulting 1 row.
    Seems like I have the possible corrupt block on unused space.

  • Recovery wizard windows 8.1

    I recently had my toshiba satelitte c850.crash on me & my windows wont load. Sll i get is a blue screen with audio n the option to shut down or restart on the right n a circle on thr left. I was told all i can do is recover using the wizard recovery by holding down the 0 when it restarts. I did this n i gey a message informing me that il lose sll data n i click yes then i was brought to a screen where i had two options to choose from. First one is to delete all data n files n second one was delete all data n files n rewrite. Cuz i want to delete sll n have my windows 8. Working shain n reinstalled i click option 2 to deleye n tewrite. I clicked it n its been 24,hrs n only 50 % complete of deleting. I had over 300 movies n tons of stuff n was wondering if its normal to tske so long n if i selected the proper option in order to delte sll files n have my windows back to factory settings. Will my windows be reinstalled n ready to start from scratch urilizing the wizard. I had no other options as my operating system wasnt working. No i have no disks when i bought laptop all was instaled n no disks. Plzzz help as its worrying me i did it wrong n why so long to complete.

    It may be the files that you'd saved . ! some of the files might be damage thats why it hangs , if you are going to shut it down there is a possibility that the Hidden partition will be corrupted . just wait for it and wait for the error if it fails . It might show up the no bootable device ,if so . then you have 2 options with this . order a recovery media or send the computer back for repair .

  • Excpetion while calling NewObjectArray 2 times

    I am calling a C++ method from another C++ code 2 times. First time, it works ok but second time, JVM throws an exception and terminates. Any idea ? It throws an exception while calling

  • Can't stop Adobe Flash Player pop up

    Long story short: all of the sudden videos on youtube won't
    play & some other webpages have display problems in Firefox (ok
    in IE) so I try to download Adobe Flash Player but my OS (Windows
    Me) isn't supported so could not install.
    Problem is it won't install yet anytime I'm on a webpage
    using IE (not in Firefox) I constantly get the Adobe Flash Player
    Active X Setup pop up saying "You are trying to install A F P
    Active X on an unsupported operating system" and I'm forced to
    click OK to get rid of it & it tries to go through the
    unpacking routine.
    I've tried everything to get rid of this piece of crap &
    nothing has worked. (BTW - youtube videos STILL won't play in
    Firefox either!)

    I'm not a tech person or anything and hopefully Gary will
    respond to your inquiry. All I can tell you is I had the same
    problem for two weeks and I tried everything, including
    uninstalling and reinstalling FP10 etc. I also went on a bug hunt.
    Bottom line after all that aggravation I had to do a complete
    system restore because when I tried to download FP10 something was
    corrupted. Wait for Gary to respond before you try anything this
    drastic. Believe me I completely sympathize with you.

  • HT4623 I tried to update my iTunes tonight....waited and now it says something is corrupt??  I also tried to update my iPad and it didn't work after waiting for 4 hours for that one.  I need a remote access and John Whitaker is the one I want to do this f

    What is going on with my iPad update.  I waited for four hours letting it "update" and after the alloted time, it tells me that I needed to update my iTunes first.  After doing that, I can't even get into my iTunes.  It says a file is corrupt.  This is making me less and less impressed with these updates.  I have trouble 80% of the time.

    What iPad model and what iOS is it currently running? Are you trying to update the iOS via wifi or connected to your computer?
    If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

  • After waiting 1 hour to download on dial-up the finished file says corrupt file and only has downloaded 9.5 MB

    I have downloaded 3 time (1 hour each time) the download stops at 9.5 MB (not the 11.9 MB the download states) and when I try to open it the warning comes back as File Corrupt. Is this a built in stop of the old Firefox or just the telephone companies lack of providing a good service. Also I waited the 20 minutes for live help and am now looking at internet explorer as a new possibility of changing to that.

  • I am having problems downloading Mozilla Firefox. I select download and wait - then I select run. My computer then says it can't verify the site do I want to run anyway. When I select yes, an error box displays saying that the file is corrupt.

    Ever since I upgraded my Linux Kernel to 3.8, I've been getting corrupted graphics after booting. I can get past the corruption if I add "nomodeset" kernel option, however this causes X to use a fallback driver instead of the Intel one.

    Meanwhile, I encountered it seems to be a problem of the gdm in conjunction with the gpu and the intel driver - once again :-(

    Actually, I can start my DE (Gnome 3.8) manually with the following workaround:
    First, I disable gdm on my machine
    # systemctl disable gdm
    After bootin the machine, I'm logging in into the console
    $ startx
    stopping the X system again
    $ sudo systemctl start gdm
    logging in into the Gnome Shell.
    I need to start the X server first manually. Otherwise the gdm will hang again.

  • Can iMac not waking from sleep be caused be a corrupt file

    I have had my 27" iMac from July of 2011 (running Montain Lion, 8 GB RAM, 2TB hardrive, 3.4 GHz,Intel i7) for over a year and a half and ever since I bought it, it has had a problem waking from sleep.  I can hear the computer running, but when I click the mouse, keyboard, or power button, it stays asleep and I am forced to do a hard shut down.  Apple has been trying to fix the issue, but to no success.  They have replaced the hard drive, logic board, usb ports, RAM, mouse and keyboard, but it still happens.  They finally threw in the towel and are replacing the machine.  They offered to transfer all of our files (jpgs, mp3s, docs, videos, etc), but one thought occurred to me... what if the sleep issue is caused by a corrupt file?  I highly doubt that is the case, but wonder if any of the experts out here would know better than I.
    If we didin't have the data transfered, we would just keep it on an external hard drive instead.  But, I would assume that it wouldn't matter if the files were on internal vs. external because either way, the computer would access the files.  That being the case, if the sleep issue was caused by a corrupt file, the computer would still access it on the external and the sleep issue would resurface.
    So, 2 questions:
    Can a corrupt file cause the sleep issue?
    If it is true that a corrupt file can cause the sleep issue, would it matter if the corrupt file was accessed from an external drive vs. internal drive?

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of the test is to determine whether your problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. 
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
    Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
    When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
    If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click  Log in.
    *Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.  The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
