Detect and save an event and the previous 60s data in a R32 file

Hello
I am a new user of Diadem.
I perform long reliability test, and so the R32 file reach often 1 Giga byte (with a measure frequency of 500hz) when I stop manually the measure after the event . And after I only use the last 60s.
I acquire a Voltage signal using a measurement instument connected to the Serial port, I save this signal in a document by using the document icon in the DAC (Circuit with packaged data)
I have read the manuals but I don't know how to do the following thing:
How to save only the last 60s in a buffer and write it into a file if they are followed by an event.
The signal has normaly each 10s a 10v spike (During 7ms) but some time it remain constant near 4V during at least 5s and that is the event.
How to do that in the DAC? Should I use a trigger with a timer condition, but I don't know how to do it with packaged data.
Could you give me an example
Thanks for your help
Alfons

Hello,
I have
created two Examples how to do this.
The basic idea is to build packets with 60 seconds of data, find the event and
save the last minute. One way to create the packet with 60 Seconds is the
Offset Register. This block is also able to shift the signal by smaller steps.
The signal
is created with two generators and a manual switch to create the stop event. The
blocks are running free, so you don’t have to wait a minute or more to test the
behaviour. It is possible to simulate real timing in the generators if you like
to see the real speed.
In the
simple example the Offset Register “1 Minute” is producing a packet with the
last 30.000 values 10 times per second. This is shown in a scope. After this, a
formula is looking for values between 2 and 6. All values in the packet are
counted and if the number is above 2.500 (5 seconds) the block Relay gives
this packet into the store and stop block. (Store is simulated with a scope to
make testing easier.
This
example should do the job.
I have also
included an advanced example.
In this
example a formula is creating a second signal with trigger information. This
signal has the same amount of values and can be used for more complex ways of
triggering. In this example the formula is measuring the time when the signal
is between 2 and 6. When the signal is not in this range the time is set to zero.
The Multiplexer Block is used to build a loop to put the result of the formula
back in to the formula. This allows the formula to ad 0.1 seconds to its own result
from the loop before.
The trigger
signal is later used to store and stop the test. It is possible to create very
flexible triggers, events and decisions during a process if this is needed.
Of course,
it is possible, that you have to change some of the blocks or add additional functions
if the simple formulas are not able to separate the event from other changes in
the signal.Ulrich Bierwisch

  • How can I set up itunes to maunally sync, we have had to buy a new pc, which wants to erase and save when we connect the nano, how can I keep old files on Nano?

Can anyone tell me how I can stop itunes syncing and erasing the data on the nano now we are on a new pc?

I think you only have two choices when you hook up an iPod to a computer. One is to sync to it, which will replace all of the content if it's a different computer from the one where the iPod content came from in the first place (your situation). The other is to not sync, which I think is for people who may want to use their iPods as storage disks, the way you might use a USB thumb drive these days. In that case, you wouldn't replace your content with what is in the iTunes of the new computer, but you also won't be able to put additional content on.
There is one new wrinkle with later versions of iTunes. You can transfer iTunes Store purchases from an iPod to a new computer, but it won't do the same for non iTunes Store purchases, like the CDs you burned. Those will have to be transferred to the new computer and synced back to the iPod. Since you have to do that anyway, you might as well just transfer all of your iTunes content from the old computer to the new one, and then take the time to sync all the content back onto the iPod. If you do it at night, you won't be troubled by the delay.
If you have content on the iPod that you no longer have (maybe your old computer crashed before you could back it up), there are some programs that claim to be able to transfer all content from iPod to computer. I've only seen them mentioned here on the forum, so searching here or on Google might be a start.

  • When I set all the tracks in the latest Garageband to the same volume levels and save, when I open the file again they've changed back to a previous setting?

I'm trying to mix a recording in the latest 2014 version of Garageband, but when I set all the tracks in the latest Garageband to the same volume levels and save, when I open the file again they've changed back to a previous setting? Does anyone know why it changes even after saving the file?
    Below is my iMac settings.

Do you have a back up?
If not you're into using file recovery software like  File Salvage - you can download a free trial and it will scan the disk for you and tell you with might be recoverable. Actual recovery will require that you purchase the app. There may be many files with the same or similar names. Always recover the largest file size.
There are other such apps. Search on Macupdate or the App Store

I installed this same digitizer in my T|X some weeks ago.  Some discussion of my experience may be found in this Usenet posting and subsequent thread.
The stock digitizer in my T|X had always had some significant alignment issues (for which PowerDigi was able to compensate very nicely) and sensitivity which was uneven, but which usually required a heavier touch than I liked.
Eventually, it began to develop a “dead spot” near the upper left.  My T|X was under warranty, so I probably ought to have sent it in to Palm to be repaired, but I wasn't willing to be without it for the required amount of time, and I've heard enough reports of other T|X owners getting unsatisfactory results this way.  I'd heard enough good reports about the PDAPARTS.COm digitizer, that I decided that the only acceptable way to repair my T|X would be to install one of those.
After however many weeks it has been, I am still very pleased with the results.  It continues to work flawlessly; it is much more sensitive, so it doesn't require nearly so heavy a touch, and I very much like the hard feel that it has, compared to the spongier feel of the stock digitizer.
My wife's T|X still has its stock digitizer, and it has so far not shown any of the same problems that mine did, or for which the T|X has become notorious, but the feel is noticeably inferior.  She's content with it the way it is, but I think that if I were to ever buy another T|X for myself, I wouldn't wait for the stock digitizer to fail.  The PDAPARTS.COM digitizer is simply superior in every imaginable way; and, in my opinion, a T|X with the PDAPARTS.COM digitizer installed is sufficiently superior to one with the stock digitizer (even if it isn't defective) to be very much worth the expense and trouble of installing it.

  • Is it possible to save an Event and the informations attached to his medias (favorites, Keywords, Notes) on an external disk where I saved the first version of this Event, without re-copying the all medias on a new Event called fcp1?

Is it possible to save an Event and the informations attached to his medias (favorites, Keywords, Notes) on an external disk where I saved the first version of this Event, without re-copying the all medias on a new Event called fcp1?

If they both have the same media, you can just copy the CurrentVersion.fcpevent file.  But then you have two databases with the same UUID, and FCP X will only open one of them.  If you use Carbon Copy Cloner, you can clone just that folder to the external drive, and set it up to only update files that are newer or have changed.

I have had my iMac for 55 days now and twice I had to power off/on and then It does not power up correctly.  I verified my disk and found errors that could not be repaired (errors were associated with boot drive)  I erased the drive and restored system back to the previous day.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Since it's a new machine, contact Apple's Support and let them deal with it. Allen's already recommended an Apple repair station visit. Do note that if you have AppleCare's protection plan and you're within 50 miles (80 KM) of an Apple repair station, you might be eligible for an onsite repair since yours is a desktop machine (depends on where you're located).  BTW, the AppleCare Protection Plan's the best warranty policy available for desktop machines. Get it if you don't have it before contacting Apple.

    Hi guys.
I got the all new MacBook Air 11" with Lion yesterday, and would like to sell the previous model (it was with SnowLeopard).
What do I have to do to delete everything, including my account? Do I need the SuperDrive or is it possibile without one?
    Thanks!

Erase and Install OSX Snow Leopard http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3910
And yes, you need the SuperDrive for this.

  • How can I import photos from iPhoto-library to edit in Photoshop CC? - and save it back to the iPhoto-library?

How can I import photos from iPhoto-library to edit in Photoshop CC? - and save it back to the iPhoto-library?

How to access iPhoto images for use in Photoshop
    1. In the Finder, navigate to Users > [user name} > Pictures > iPhoto Library.
    2. Control-click the iPhoto Library file and choose Show Package Contents.
    3. A Finder window opens that shows the contents. The Masters folder (or called Originals folder) contains all of the photographs that are in iPhoto.
Photoshop cannot access this folder, but if you make a duplicate of the folder, the dupe will be accessible -- so:
    4. Control-click the folder named Masters (or Originals) and choose Duplicate.
5, Drag the duplicate folder which is named "Masters copy" or “Originals copy” from the iPhoto Library Finder window to the Desktop.
    6. Open images in Photoshop from file on desktop.
7  Rename the folder and move it elsewhere (probably to the Pictures folder), if desired.

Apple hasn't done anything. This is a security feature that you did not check to see had been properly de-activated before buying the phone.
If there was a back door, it would be useless as a security feature.

No, you will need to contact the previous owner, he/she is the only person that can remove it from their account : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515

My Mac HD was wiped and my TC wont acknowledge the previous sparse bundles... How do I find the information? Also I can see all the previous back ups in Time machine but I get an error that claims I don't have access privileges to the files. Any Ideas.... Also I'm not that computer savvy so you'll have to use small words

Hi, and welcome to the forums.
    How/why was your HD "wiped"?
And what did you do next?
It sounds like you erased everything, and installed OSX. Did you then set up a user account? If so, that's most likely not recognized as the same user as the one on your backups, and of course one user, even an Admin user, doesn't have access to another user's data.
Your best bet is probably to do a "full system restore" from your backups, per #14 in [Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions|http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/FAQ.html] (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of the +Time Machine+ forum). That will put everything back exactly the way it was.
There are alternatives, depending on the situation you're in, but that's usually the simplest, easiest solution.
