Detect customers without credit limit

Hi,
in my firm we use credit control for customers in the EXP market.
In SE16N when I go to table KNKK I can pull a list of all customers with credit limits -- they have value "EXP" in field KKBER or no. of credit (equal to customer no.) in field KNKLI.
However I noted that were several customers in table KNA1 that belonged to account group (field KTOKD) no. 0001 or 0003 and technically are part of EXP market, hence should have credit limit, but I cannot find them in table KNKK.
Why is that? When master record is set up it's another process to set credit control for the customer?
Also, I'd like to pull a list of all customers from table KNA1 that belong to EXP market and cross-match them to table KNKK in order to detect if they do not exist in KNKK, i.e. do not have credit control.
How can I do it?
Would appreciate your response. Regards

Hi,
Try the T-Code F.32
In this T-code you will get the list of all the customers whose credit limit is not maintained in FD32.
Thanks and regards,

  • Credit Limit VS Posted Date Check

    Dear Experts
Our client have a requirement on customer credit limit and I would like to seek for some good solutions.
Here I provide one sample scenario: In SAP Business One a customer with a credit limit of $100,000 and account balance of $110,000. After a posted date check of $20,000 is deposited, customer account balance will be reduced to $90,000 and a Sales Order/ AR Invoice with amount less than $10,000 can be added for that customer without credit limit alert.
However, our client thinks that it is not make sense to reduce the customer account balance given that a posted date check is deposited as the posted date check may not be cashed if the customers do not have money in their account.
Would it be possible to separate posted date check payment amount from deducting the customer account balance? or would it be other workarounds?
    Thank you very much
    Regards
    Elton

    Dear jbrotto
    Thanks for your reply.
Could you explain in details on how to make use of the commitment limit?
As far as I know, commitment limit also considers the account balance of customer

  • Customer Credit Limit Not Showing in VKM4

In some cases the customer credit limit is not being displayed in VKM4 for dynamic credit check holds. It seems to happen for certain customers but we can't tell why. The holds are valid, the limit is just not showing and we'd like to know if this is by design or a bug.
    We are running ECC 6.0
    Thanks

    Dear wradue      ,
What difference did you find comparing the FD32 of customers with credit limit and without credit limit in VKM4?
    Thanks & Regard,

  • Expiraition date for credit limit

    Hi all,
can I set an expiration date for customers credit limit?
    Business requirement is as follows:
In my company we grant the customers their credit limit every quarter. I want to be sure that only a deliberate action could renew the customers credit.

hi , if every quarter you revise credit limit of the customer, You can define effective dates for credit limit in CREDIT USAGE RULES for a customer, so that when Effective Date To is expired credit limit usage cannot be perfomed for that customer. Hope this could solve your query. please let me know if wrong or right.
    thanks.

  • Customer's Credit Limit is zero

    Hi all,
I eecuted report RFDKLI40 and i noted that a few customers have credit limit set to 0,00Euro
Could you please help me with what does this mean?
Does this customer by-pass credit limit control or not?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    John

Customer's assigned with credit limit equal to zero are "ship-to" and not "sold-to", thus there is no need to pass credit limit.
For example, one customer ("Sold-To") has many branches ("Ship-to") around the country and it has been decided to perform credit limit control on the "sold-to" customer who is also responsible for its branches' orders and payments.

  • Current credit limit higher than maximum permitted

I am looking at a customer in transaction FD32. It appears that the customers' current credit limit assigned is higher than their maximum permitted credit limit.
    i.e. current credit limit = $22,000
    maximum permitted = $20,000
This has occurred for several customers. How is this possible? Can the current credit limit be decreased back down to $20,000?
    Thanks,

    Hi ,
Kindly note that the field KNKA - KLIMG , refers to the credit limit for all the credit control area for that customer , and the KNKK-KLIMK Upper limit for the recievables in that particular credit control area ,hence for the example mentioned the sum of the credit limit for individual credit control area does not exceed the total limit .

  • Looking for a bapi that gets the list of customers with a credit limit

    Hello SAP gurus
I want to know if there is a standard bapi that I can use to find all customers with a credit limit of $10000 and that have exceeded this limit.
Any response/feedback will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks J@Y,
I had read that discussion about the tables with the info. However, I have an external program that is integrated to SAP sytem (using webservices). The external program when needed has to retrieve the list of customers who have exceeded certain credit limit. So I was wondering if there is any standard BAPI which I can use. Or do I need to write my own BAPI using the tables info that you have indicated.

  • Query for credit limit of customers of a particular type

    Hi,
We are using SAP B1 2007B PL04 and want to activate credit limit so that whenever a delivery or A/R breaches the credit limit then the document must go for approval. However we want this to be activated only when the customers are having group code say 110 and not for others.
So basically could you all help me with a query which would do the following
    1. check whether customer for whom delivery or A/R is being generated belongs to group having croup code 110
    2. check if the credit limit set in BP master  for that customer will be breached if the delivery or A/R is made (ie Current A/R or delivery amount when added to current outstanding will exceed the credit limit)
    3. if yes then will activate approval procedure and send the document for approval as per approval template
    Thanks
    regards

  • Credit limit sharing main customer and sub customers

    Dear all
Credit limit sharing main customer and sub customers. we have hierarchy to identified main cutomer and sub customers and different account groups. now in system we are using main customer payer for all sub customers also. in future we are going to share the credit limit sub dealesr also. wt are the possibilities to complete my requirements.
    Regards
    Venkey

    Hi Venky,
If i understood correctly. You wan to share main customer credit limit to all sub customer i.e. if main customer is having 5 Lacs Credit Limit the same amt you want to use for all sub customers.
If this is the scenario then assign the main customer in the sub customer Credit master as a credit account.
FD32 ---> Control Area Data ---> Status --->  Credit Account ( Under Credit Limit )....
Process to change the credit account: Perss F6 or from the status view Go to Edit ---> Change Credit acct...
    Hope issue may resolve..

  • How to view the date when the Customers credit limit updated in SAP-FSCM?

How to view the date when the Customers credit limit updated in SAP-FSCM?

OK you can look at field - LIMIT_CHG_DATE in the table - UKMBP_CMS_SGM via SE16
I would assume you would want to run it based on a date range.

  • Revise credit limit of several customers

Is there any mass change on credit limit?
Is there any simple way to change the credit limit of several hundreds/thousands customer at a time?
I have tried f.34, but I can only change the "next int. review" date only.
Besides, is there any direct relationship between customer hierarchy and credit limit. Can it default the credit account to the highest node once when a customer is created?

    hello, friend.
    1.  you can change credit limit en masse by -
         a.  using t-code MASS and choosing Customer credit - central data, and Customer credit - status
         b.  using LSMW to automate FD32
    2.  to assign a customer as reference for credit control for several customers (let's say Customer A with credit limit of 100,000.  Customers B, C and D share in the limit), you can do the following:
         a.  execute FD32 and enter Customer B
         b.  on status page, click EDIT > CHANGE CREDIT ACCT.  a message will appear advising you to reorganize data.
         c.  on the next screen, enter Customer A in credit account.  save.
         d.  repeat for Customer C and D.
         e.  now run t-code F.28 for these customers.
          f.  when you create sales transactions, you will notice the credit data of only A is updated, while the rest will have zero.
    regards.

  • Credit Limit for 2 customers

How do you setup an approval procedure to check a shared credit limit for 2 customers simultaneously? The credit limit is shared between the 2 customers which can be linked thorugh a UDF.
Example: Joint credit limit Cust1 and Cust2: $10,000
    Outstanding orders for Cust1: $5,000
    Outstanding orders for Cust2: $3,000
Available credit for any of them: $2,000.
If an order exceeds $2,000 in this example, it should trigger the Approval Procedure.
Cust1 and Cust2 can be linked through UDF U_CustGroup (or any other suggested field)
What would be the Query to use please?
    Thanks,
    A Castri

Hi Gordon, thanks again for response. The UDF will link a customer to its sibling (and back). Credit limit will be set at the same value for both customers. This is how I visualize it, but I don't know if a Query would be enough:
    TotAvailCredit = CreditLimit - (Balance Cust1 + Balance Cust2)
If Total from Quote or Invoice > TotAvailCredit then trigger approval procedure.
Do you still think an SDK-based development would be needed, or just a Query would be sufficient?
    Thanks,
    Andres

  • Multiple Customers but Single credit Limit

    Dear Experts
i have a requirement wherein we need to assign a single credit limit to approx 200 customer codes in our system through a single credit control area.
How the same can be achieved

    You can achieve this by
Tcode OVFL - Assign Credit control area to Sales area.
Tcode OVA8 - Assign Credit control area to Risk Area.
Instead, maintain Max.doc.value in Automatic Credit Check with Document value as B & Status/Block indicator active.
Tcode XD02 or VD02 - Assign Credit control area to Payer Customer Master.
    Do this for desired customers.

  • Credit Limit of Customers

In SAP Business By Design , in a customer account we can see two balances:
    1. Open item Totals in Transaction Currency
    2.Valuated Balance in Company Currency
Why in some cases the two balances differ ??
Further for credit limit of Customer the balance reflected under open item totals in transaction currency is considered ??
    Best Regards
    Ritesh Rawat

    Hello Ritesh
If there are transactions with the currency other than the company currency for a customer, then you will see multiple rows under the Open Item in Transaction Currency with each row showing the consolidated balance by currency.
System will convert the transaction currency amount into the company currency and Valuated Balance in Company Currency will show the consolidated balance in single currency i.e. company currency.
If you see any other differences, then there can be technical issue as well. Can you provide more details on the difference here?
You can configure the Credit Limit Check behavior in the Business configuration activity named  Credit Limit Check. There are 3 options here:
Check Current Document – This will only consider the values of the current documents. If you configure this, then system will take the open items balance into consideration.
Check Current Document and Other Open Orders- Current documents and open sales/service orders.
Check Current Document and Other Open Orders Including Documents "In Preparation"
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks
