Determining Selected LinkToAction element in a Table

Hi!
I'm working on a WD Project where I have a table with LinkToAction elements. My problem is that I need to get the data of the row where the LinkToAction element was pressed. The Table does not allow selection (via the squares), and has to rely on the LinkToAction onAction event.
Does anyone know how to do this without relying on LeadSelection (since LeadSelection refers to the selected row, but this Table doesn't allow selection)?
Would really appreciate an input or two on this. Thanks a lot!

How can I get selection screen elements and its table reference of a report ? . I tried rs_refresh_from_select_options. But I am unable to get the table and field it is referring to
For eg if my selection screen 1000 is

When you get into defining internal tables you can determine those at run time with cl_abap_structdescr. The following is an example of how you might do that. You can loop through the "components_table" and evaluate each field of the structure in this way.

Get selected elements from a table

Hi all,
I have a requirement like i m enhancing standard component in that i have added one button on click of that i want fetch the selected line item from the table ( which is a normal table). selection mode is auto.
i tried with the following code.

Instead you can directly read the node if that row is a lead selected one.

where is the above code written..is it written in OnLeadSelect event of the TABLE..
can any one help me what is the wrong.. else suggest me how to get the selected elements from a table....
As the selection mode is Auto there is no multiple selection..hence try to use the lead selection only.

Clickable UI element in a table tree as a child

Hi experts,
I haev created a tree in a table column. And in a treebykeytable coumn of a table, what type of cell editor can be included so that we can capture a event on a click of it.
I.e once a child is clicked- I want to caoture the value of child clicked and navigate further.
I dont want to use linktoaction UI element and moreover table need initialze lead selection and on using linktoaction, for clicking any child it capture only root value i.e lead selected by default.

How to get Index of a single element in a table

Hi Gurus,
I need to get the index number of the element in a table even if the row is not selected.
I've already searched the forum for this but all i'm getting are selected rows in the table. I need to get the index even if that elemen's row is not selected in the table.

You said you want to get the index of an element even if the corresponding row is not selected. But there might be more than one element where the correponding rows are not selected. So it would be better if you could be more specific about what you want to achieve.

Regarding Link to URL UI Element in a table

Hi All,
I am using "link to url" UI Element in a table column. I have mapped the column (i mean the "reference" property of "link to url" UI to a bapi node). Now, when I am populating the table, for some rows the bapi is not returning the url links. So, the column is getting disabled and not even showing the links for the rows which are getting the url link from the bapi.
Is there any way to set the mapping row wise, so that the rows which have data get enabled with the link and which do not have data will be disabled.
Also, can I make the whole table readonly, except for one column.
Please help me in this regard.

How to select a picture in a table live view DW 2014.1

can anyone explain to me how I can select a picture inside a table element so I can apply css to it?
I've already tried applying css by class and ID unsuccessfully.
I can select every other element inside the table except the picture. Why would that be?

I have corrected the mistake. Again it was a rookie mistake where my class was inserted after the tag instead of inside the <td>tag. But while we are at it. I been looking and looking for a way to edit my question, I can't find a link on the site to direct me to the questions I ask. would you know if there is such a link and if so where can I find it? that way I will be able to respond to my own questions (when I do rookie mistakes and find them and don't clutter the board for nothing)

Automatic determination of WBS element in MIGO

We want to configure automatic determination of WBS element in MIGO_GI from Reservation and the WBS field should be disabled for editing while doing Goods Issue. Please suggest on the required configurations.

This customer exit is used to transfer the document data for a goods movement into serial number management. This involves:
The complete goods document (transfer table S7_TAB_MSEG, structure MSEG),
The purchase order history (transfer table S7_TAB_EKBE, structure EKBE).
The customer exit is called as soon as the document is saved. This means that at this moment in time the document data can be placed in the global memory of function group XQSM, where it is then available when the serial numbers in the document are saved immediately afterwards.
Access to the document data (placed in the global memory of IE01) is performed in customer exit EXIT_SAPLIE01_005, which can be activated using customer exit IQSM0005.
Certain document data can now be copied into the master data of the serial numbers.
Example
You want to copy the goods recipient from the material document and the value from the purchase order history into the serial number.
Goods movement
You activate the customer exit EXIT_SAPLIE01_007 so that you can prepare the required information from the goods document and the purchase order history. You can read additional data (for example, from the purchase order) where necessary.
Posting
You activate the customer exit EXIT_SAPLIE01_005. The data prepared with user exit EXIT_SAPLIE01_007 is available here (for example, goods recipient or purchase order value). This data can be copied into the master data of the serial numbers.

I have a table with info and would like to select an item from that table

I have a table with info (course info that I searched for) and would like to select an item from that table to use for further use in my application.
It must work more or less like the tree structure where I can use an On Action select.
In other words; let say I am looking for all courses with "Advisor" it its descriptin / name, I want to click on one of the names and use it lets say to book people on.
Could some please assist me with this.

I changed my code as follow:

please use 'INTO TABLE' instead of ' INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE '. and use ' FOR ALL ENTRIES '............based on relavence ....coz when I set break point over the select queries it took me long time to execute .......
becoz u didnt used the for all entries in select query ............ u r read statement
READ TABLE I_KNA1 INTO WA_KNA1 WITH KEY KUNNR = WA_KNVV-KUNNR. .....
it is reading wrong kunnr value .............even it took long time to execute ......
use sort where ever required...
use for all entries .......and check weather the table initial or not......

Printing selected data in ALV or Table in Web Dynpro for ABAP

In the Road map UI element , you can find number of Step .
Add one Interactive form in one that steps. Capture that records , pass that records to Step where the interactive form is there.

How to develop ALV and select-option element in BSP? Help!

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where I have a selection screen with 3 select-option elements and a search button. On clicking the search button an ALV table report has to be shown.
The ALV table is used for new row/rows entry, delete row/rows and update row/rows data. This is something like table control in normal ABAP.
Additionaly, I want the download to Excel, sorting, filtering, column swapping options in ALV.
How can I achieve this in BSP?
Is there any existing SElect-option and ALV component in BSP?
Any code sample will be really helpfull.
How much development time will it take?
Please help!

I think you will find that most of what you are looking for does NOT exist out of the box for BSP. There is no delivered selection-option or value help. I ended up creating my own over the years (You can find some versions online here in SDN in my weblogs - however a complete implementation of select-options was only delivered along with the Advanced BSP Programming book).
There is no ALV either. However with the htmlb:tableView, you can acomplish quite a bit. You may have to learn about table view iterators to get it all done. Downloading to Excel also isn't delivered. I developed a reusable BSP Extension element for this as well (can be found on SDN in my weblogs or with the Advanced BSP Programming book).
If you plan to recreate all these elements by yourself, your project will take some time. It took a while to build so many complex UI elements.
What release are you running on? In Netweaver04S you have Web Dynpro ABAP. WDA has delivered components for value help, select-options, and ALV.

Enable Buttons after selection of row in a table

Could any one give me help in this. I have a table, in table tool bar some buttons are there. at first time buttons are in disable mode, when user select any row in the table the buttons should be in enable mode. how to do this? help me

for table you have lead select action. you can write the code in this ction method to enable and disable the buutons based on the lead selection.
or you ca alsoput your code in modify view and check if the instance of element is bound then enable else disable,
lo_element = lo_node->get_element(). Lo_element will be bound only if there is a lead selection in the table.
if lo_element is bound.
enable the buttons.
else.
disable the buttons.
endif.

In the Node which you binded to the table create one more attribute of type boolean.
For example your node is as below:
//Table Node
TableNode
> Att1
> Att2
> isSelected(boolean) - Newly created attribute for this requirement.
//Result Node contains the elements selected in TableNode
ResultNode
>Att1
>Att2
Now in the table create one more Column with Checkbox as tablecell editor. Now bind this boolean attribute to that check box.
Now in the code you can get the selected rows by user as below:

Keep explaining. The only way I know of to trap a selected cell value in VIEW is to embed into the desired VIEW area a second non-modal SUDialog that has a Table control or an XTable control displaying the values of certain data channels. There are callbacks in both table controls for cell selection, and you can configure the table control to allow only single cell selection if that's what you want. The regular table control will be easier to program, but the XTable control will perform much better for larger channels.
But what happens with that value the user selected? Is it used for a calculation? Is it added to a report? Why would the user select that cell in a table rather than selecting the corresponding feature in a graph with the crosshair cursor?
