Determining where a test case is being used

I have a test case in TFS 2013. I need to know what test plans/suites use this test case. How can I determine that? I want to know if I can delete that test case but I can't figure out how to tell where it is used. If I add the test case to a
test suite, then I can see in the TFS 2013 Update4 Browser UI the Associated test suites.
I want this capability without having to add the test case to a test suite.
Give a test case, tell me all of the associated test suites so that I can remove unused test cases.

As far as I know there’s no such a link relationship displayed in test case work item to show test case belong to which test plan/test suite in current TFS version, You should open the Test Plan/Test Suite in team project Web Access or MTM, then view and
check all test cases under it.

Does know one know the answer to this?
I have a series of clips , which due to "Copy project to new Library." ..to work with on laptop while on the road, then bringing the Library back to the main machine e, it keeps duplicating clips..
But when I go to delta them , it ways it can't as they are in use.
I don't want 5 different sub clips ..all very much the same, with the same name, as I never know which one is the one to edit/ update.

Sql statement to determine if amm or ASSM is being used

is there a SQL statement I can use to determine if a DB is using AMM or ASSM. Any examples would be greatly appreciated

select name, isdefault, display_value from v$parameter where name in ( 'memory_target' , 'sga_target', 'statistics_level') order by name;
If memory_target is set non-zero, you are using Automatic Memory Management See Managing Memory
Else if sga_target is set non-zero and statistics_level is TYPICAL or ALL, you are using Automatic Shared Memory Management See Managing Memory and Configuring and Using Memory
I don't know the Linux memory setup, so I can't comment on the huge pages interaction with AMM and ASSM.

How to find out where the business views are being used in the Crystal

I am using Crystal Reports 2008 and BOE 3.1. We are using business views to populate the drop down for the dynamic parameters. I would like to know if there is a way to find out which reports are using a specific business views. This will help me modify the exisisting Business Views.
I would not like to edit all the reports to see them. Is that info stored in CMC or any BOE database.

Hello Vijay,
On MSSQL truncation of transaction log does not shrink the size of the transaction log. It simply removes the content within the transaction log and writes it to the backup.
Meaning the free percentage within the transaction log will increase.
If you want to Resize the transaction log size, you need to do something else.

Quick Free Way to find out where you Disk Space is being used.

you can do the same search for files/directory sizes for free with a simple unix command.
du -k ~ | sort -n
this does your home drive
sudo du -k / | sort -n
this does the entire hdd
du -ak ~ | sort -n
this does your home drive with files and directories
sudo -ak / | sort -n
this does your hdd files and directories
you can add a > <filename> so that you can search the output example.
du -k ~ | sort -n > directory_inventory.txt
i have been seeing a lot of need for a command like this so that users know what directories are taking up a lot of space on there hard disk drive.

nice, but i don't want to clutter up my drive with applications when they are built in, and if you really need a gui just use xcode and the above commands to get your gui.

How can I tell where my CC licenses are being used?

I own several CC-for-teams seats, but they are activated and deactivated on many computers constantly.
How can I keep track of what licenses are in use on my computers? Are the MAC addresses or hostnames stored someplace?
If I need to retreive a license, must I do so by user (email address), or can I revoke a license from a machine instead?
For that matter, does Adobe offer per-machine or concurrent licensing as an alternative to CC-for-teams? How do Enterprise users manage?

The CC is based on Adobe ID.Each CC Adobe Id entitles you for two installs, so the moment it is tried to be installed on the third computer, it gives you a prompt to deactivate from the previous machines..
If you want to retreive a license, you have to revoke the invite from the Admin console by clicking on the cross in front of the Email Adress.
As of now the enterprise users manage by deploying packages from the creative Cloud Packager.

Locating lost phone where BBM PIN is till being used

Had a phone stolen and though I had cancelled all services but the new 'owner' is using the BBM through the same PIN number as I have just had a chat with him! I can see that I can dis-enable this, but cant find out how and if there is anything else I can do to prevent his use? Have looked on the site but cant seem to find a direct answer. The phone had a password.

Call T-Mobile and tell them to cancel your SIM card. That way, the new "owner" cannot rack up charges on your account. Next, ask them to cancel the phone's PIN. That way, he can't access any BlackBerry features that are under your name, such as BBM. Finally, ask them (ask, because not every carrier will do this) to cancel the phone's IMEI. That way, the phone will become nothing more than a paperweight. It's a shame every carrier won't cancel an IMEI but that's just the way it is.

How can I determine which version of jwsdp is being used? Is it by jar name?

Depends entirely on what you choose to export:
File -> Export Photo
Will export The current version, the original, a jpeg, tiff or png. All of them will be the edited version except the Original.
If you want to move all your versions between Libraries check out iPhoto Library Manager

JUnit - Strange Test Case running problem

Hi Everyone,
I am very new to J Unit testing. Here's my problem. I have a project set up in Net Beans. Inside the project, there is a folder named "tests". This folder contains the following class:
public class Bob
    public static void main(String[] args)
        System.out.println("Hello");
}There are other classes inside of this folder that extend TestCase and TestSuite. They are functionally working according to J Unit testing (they prompt a JUnit Test Results panel in Net Beans with Pass or Fail).
The problem that I am having upon running/executing the class "Bob", NetBeans treats it as a JUnit test case and brings up a Pass/Fail panel. I do not want this to happen. I just want this class to print "Hello" as if it was not a Test. Do you guys have any idea what the problem is? My "Bob" class has nothing imported.
Also, I have another question. Is there a way that I can take INPUT from a user when running a Test Case (such as using the Scanner class)? My test cases seem to skip over the Scanner.nextLine() code for some reason.

Thanks for the suggestion, however I am unsure of what you mean by injecting the scanner. Here is an example of what I would like to do:
public class BenchmarkTestSuite extends TestSuite
    public static void main(String[] args)

            readIterations = scan.nextInt();

        catch(Exception ex)

}Here, the prompted question for the user gets ignored for some odd reason. I would like for the tests to not start until the question has been answered by the user. NetBeans is strange. I commented all of the test methods to see if the question gets printed to the console, and it does not.

Process validation for test case is not working

I' am using SQL Developer EAR 3.0.02.83. The is a test case defined which uses "Query returns rows" with Select count(*) from dual;
It should return a row an that way fulfill the test.
but when running the testcase I get the result ERROR due to:
Query returns rows not succesful: null
How can I find the reason? Is this a bug?
Even other types of validation do not work, they always give null and the overall result ERROR.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately our procedure returns in some cases null values, so that a unit test is not possible.
I need to ckeck the results of the function, but not to compare them with fixed values, rather something like {VALUE$} LIKE 'x%Y'.
I'am afraid there is no solution.

My personal method which I apply after mailing to all users and managers and after using methods fellow answeres have given
Take database offline or in a single user mode and keep it like that for 15-20 days if someone is using it they would surely ping you or mail you. Please mail to all repective persons and app owners before taking it offline. As you said you want to decommission
it so i assume server will be less utilized itself.
