Developer 6i Patch 5a for OA 11.5.3 -- unable to login

Hello:
Has anybody successfully applied the Developer6i Patch 5a? I went through the document that details the steps and verified all. Applied the Developer 6i Patch 5a, applied the 3 required Apps patches and the IOP. I am able to get the login screen with Jinit 1.1.8.7. When I try to login, the for does not echo what is typed in until the second character is typed in and is very slow (2+seconds) between keystrokes and echo. Also the Java console shows:

I am using Jre 1.1.8.
This is on Solaris 2.6
RDBMS version is 8.1.6.3
Apps version is 11.5.3
Any ideas to track this issue down and resolve is appreciated.

You can believe what you like, but it won't change the truth.
CS6 is a Cocoa application, and Retina support requires Carbon (or the other way around, I'm a Windows user). It's not a matter of adding a few lines of code to make the change, it required rewriting the entire program from the ground up.

Just a question : previously I used to apply theses patches "patch by patch".
Can you confirm me that I can go and apply directly patch 15 over the patch 9 whithout applying 10,11,12...etc?

there's nothign wrong wiht ichat, at all. it works perfecly fine for me with video every time i ever try on aim with otu a problem. The only reason any ports wouldnt be working is because your firewall is blocking them (on yoru machine, or hardware .. or crappy router firewall software), or your router isnt routing the ports on incoming (and or outgoing) for those ports to the proper destination. I use iChat basicly daily with windows and os x users with video wiht out a *****, and i find it way better then AOL Instant messenger, teh actual program.
they didn't put any support because a lot of the drivers apple uses are propiatary, and ms jsut doesn't really care to be honest - mac users are a tiny share of thier market in thier view. Basicly, i dont see it ever 'catching up', end of story. When i need to use videochat on msn i jsut use as mentoined, amsn, works perfectly fine. I know it may be a hassle for some users who don thave it, however most people, most of the time are trying with a windows user whos cleint supports it, if not and you use a mac, well, ***** if you don't want to download a 8mb program - you dont really want ot use it i guess :P
nothing is old in osx technology wise other then a few basic things, espcially with leopard coming soon. Obviously all software isnt native yet, it's still a new market in the mac industry compared to teh last X years running ppc software, things have to be rewritten as im sure you know. Firewire drives adn such arent anything new to any pc market, they ahve been aroudn for a long time, every modern comptuer supprots external nd many even internal firewire and sata drives.
what software do you find ot be relics? iChat > AOL IM in my view, msn, yes its garbage on mac - i use adium usually and amsn fi i need cam as mentioned.

A report is created by the front-end and stored in a JMS Queue with a persistent FileStore. Once the report is created, the report is available until someone deletes the report from the Queue.
          Now the problem:
          The "new" application with reports module has been deployed to a TEST environment with WLS 8.1 SP3. The report creation works, the report is stored in the FileStore, but is accessible through the front-end only once. It is a JSP with content header (PDF) reading the byteArray Message from the Queue.
          For the second time, the result on the front-end is "NUL" (3 digits in HTML Source). When re-starting the server everything is fine again(but each report can be fetched from the Queue only once).
          Unfortunately upgrading the SP is not a solution, because the TEST and PRODUCTION environment of the client cannot be upgraded easily.
          - Is there a patch available for the problem?
          - Can anyone explain me what is the problem with that?
          - Is there a workaround?
          The servers are Windows 2003 servers...

Not Able To Open Forms Session After Developer 6i patch

Hi,
Our enviroment is
Db version --> 9.2.0.6
EBS version --> 11.5.10.2
We are upgrading our db to 10gr2.As a prerequisite developer 6i patch (patch 19) has been applied.
After this patch, some forms could not be opened .No error or anything observed in logs.
After some investigation, when the responsibility key updated into new value the forms have been opened succesfully.
Update -->
update fnd_responsibility set responsibility_key='SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR_N'
where responsibility_key='SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR';
But this update caused concurrent managers not open.Because of this error -->
Routine AFPCSQ cannot set profile option value for USER_ID. ORACLE
error 1403 in get_responsibility_data
Cause: get_responsibility_data
failed due to ORA-01403: no data found.
error.
select application_id,responsibility_id,responsibility_key, end_date
from fnd_responsibility
where responsibility_key like 'SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR'
returned no data.
SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR responsibility may be special case.By applying this update
to other responsibility solves the problem.But this behaviour is true or not ?
We couldn't find any solution.

Hi,
I believe this approach is not correct since you should not update this table manually. For the CM error, it is expected to get this error as the select statement no longer returns "SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR" after the update.
I suggest you obtain the FRD log file and see if errors are logged there when trying to reproduce the issue.

Is the patch you're talking about for Leopard itself, or for
the extension? If the patch is for Leopard, I'd assume that You'd
have to get it from Apple, but I don't know where to look for that.
If the patch is for the extension, then you probably need to go to
the developer's site to see if the patch is posted there, or
contact the developer directly to see where this patch may be if
indeed it is necessary.
