Device Collention query rule for registry value

Hi,
How do i create a device collection query in SCCM2012 R2 wizard rule to find the criterion type for a regisrty value data type.?
For example: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\LanmanServer\Parameters\srvcomment
Value name: srvcomment
Value Data: ABCD

when you run RegToMof and point to the correct key, there are three tabs, one says ConfigMgr12 another says CnfgMgr07 and SMS2003. You want the ConfMgr12 tab.
From that tab there are two tabs below that, a configuration.mof tab and a to import in ...... tab
navigate to the key you want to include
As you navigate both tabs are populated with data. You need to copy the contents of the Configuration.mof tab and paste it in your configuration.mof files on your site server, which is located
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\clifiles.src\hinv
by default. Backup the original in case you mess things up.
The other tab, to import in Admin/Agent settings...., you need to copy the contents of that tab, and created a .mof file (which is just a regular text file), name is whatever.mof. The go to your config man console, and import the .mof file into your
agent settings/hardware inventory/set classes (you'll see the button in hardware inventory)

When i tried to specify the rules for takeover for depn area 10 (MACRS/ACRS Tax Depreciation - Local Currency) as 01 (which is the legal depreciation) , the following information is displayed , thereby not allowing me to save the rule. Depreciation area 01 is a real depn area and not a derived one. I have checked all the relevant customisations. Please do help me out.

You specified area 01 as the reference depreciation area for transferring values or depreciation terms to another depreciation area.
Area 01 is defined as a derived depreciation area. It does not manage its own values or depreciation terms. Therefore, it cannot be used to supply values or depreciation terms to another depreciation area.

(real depreciation area - stores the dep.values, derived dep.are - not real depreciation area and not stores the values, is only statistical)

G/L Description not showing in Query designer for Characteristic values

Hi Friends,
We have developed a report and that we have made two New selections on the object 0GL_account....some GL Account number are grouped in that. While selecting the GL Accounts to new selection, it is showing GL Account number and Description. After that, the selected objects are not showing the Description in the query designer. It is showing GL Account number only for the both Technical name and Description. I Would like to see Description of the GL Accounts in the Query designer. i have plan to delete certain account based on their dercription.
And at the Infoobject description in the Business Explorer tab Display feild it is set as Text and Key. And till yesteday it shown the Description for the Account numbers. The daa loads are also .gone fine.
Can you please guide me in this regards

The accounts which we selected are having Description and it is showing while selection the selected GL Accounts.
And the master data also is in active...When i try to activate the master data Agoin it is saying statement "Master data for characteristic 0GL_ACCOUNTactive"

ALE : conversion rule for field value to become null

Dear experts,
I need to pass a material from one system to another with ALE. The problem is that the field marc-prctr (profit center) of this material is populated in the first system, but it does not exist in the second, so I assume transaction bd79 should be used to convert somehow the value of prctr to initial.
How can I do that??? I have already tried defining a conversion rule and assigning it to message type MATMAS, segment E1MARCM, but it did not work.
Please help.

Query rule for installed applications

Need a query where I am looking for machines that have both java 7.0.65 and any other installed java version. I need to run a parse script to remove the older versions of java from the machines.
So something where show me all the machines that hav 7.0.65 and also have any other version installed. Will run a msiexec /x "java" with a variable for all possible versions and force remove them all.

if you want to create collection that have java other versions of Java other than 7.0.65,you should try to use sub selected queries.

Rule for parameter values when portlet defined?

Am I missing something?
In Plus:
--I make a sheet in Plus that is parameterized.
--The parameter for an item whose item class has a LOV.
--I define a default value.
--I save the sheet.
In the portal:
--I define a Disco portlet.
--I edit the defaults.
--I set the parameters.
Now, here's the weird thing: The only parameter value offered is the one saved as a default value in Plus?
This certainly makes no sense at all.
This is on 9.0.2.53.12

SQL Query constructing for searching values in Tables single Column

I have Table USER_SERVICES with 2 Columns USER_NAME, Services. Please find below sample data on USER_SERVICES Table.
A user can be assigned with multiple services(service1, service2 etc.,). So we store data as below :
USER_NAME Services
user1 service1
user1 service2
user1 service3
user2 service1
user2 service2
user3 service3
user4 service4
I need to frame a SQL Query to 'select users assigned with Service A and Service B and Service n'.
Note: 'And' condition is used when Searching for multiple services.
Example: The SQL Query has to dynamically handle condition if i give Single Service, multiple Services(service1 and service2 e.t.c,)
If i say select users assigned with service1 and service2, from the above Table, result should be user1 and user2
If i say select users assigned with service1 and service2 and service3, from the above Table, result should be user1
If i say select users assigned with service4 from the above table, result should be user4
If i say select users assigned with service1 from the above table, result should be user2,user1
If i say select users assigned with service1 and service2 from the above table, result should be user2,user1
How do i construct the SQL Query. Any help will be appreciated.

ATG Search | Query Rules are not executing

Hi,
We want to put some search relaxation, for example partial entry of a search term returns results i.e.if user enter "shi" results should show all shirts.
Followed following steps for that,
1) Created query rules for wildcard pattern with a actions.(For example created a pattern "shi*" and action "prop,string,displayName,Shirt" , so that when a user enter "shi", search results would return all products whose name contain "Shirt" or "Shirts".
2) After indexing, verified Query Rules are applied; using "Index Review" (QueryRuleLoad -- 4 rules, 4 patterns, 4 actions, from stream)
3) Layered the component /atg/commerce/search/catalog/QueryRequest property ruleMode to exec so that search request contain "ruleMode=exec" as per ATG docs.
4) Clear and Disable cache using the component : /atg/search/routing/CacheService/
5) Search submitted on site for "shi".
6) Verified Search request XML that "ruleMode=exec" is being send to Search Engine.
But as per query rules, search results/response are not coming, verified response XML, but didn't find any clue.
Are we missing any configuration for query rules to execute or the pattern & action which we have created are not proper ?

Hi ,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to configure Query Rule for the SharePoint Contextual Search (by default its result page is osssearchresult.aspx).
As far as I know, the Query Rules
work in the SharePoint Contextual Search when you define them on site level. You can create your query rule in
your Site -> Site Settings -> Search -> Query Rules.
Meanwhile the SharePoint Contextual Search is based on the result sources defined in the Site Settings->Search -> Result Sources, you need to make
the result source of your Query Rule to the above Result Source.

How to Query remote PC's registry by OU for 2 values and export to CSV file.

I'm new to scripting and to Powershell but this is what I have managed to put together so far. Of course it fails. We have two custom entries in the registry that I want to query remote workstations for these values, Monitor 1 and Monitor 2. Output to a
CSV along with the workstations name. Because of our AD structure I figured its just easier to input the OU individually as seen in the script. That portion of the script seems to work. I get the following error in bold when I run the script: I've Google'd

Data not coming from DOE to Mobile After defining Rule for device attribute

Hi All,
I have created a DO and rule for it.In case of Bulk Rule for all definition when i triggere extract from Portal then all the data comes to outbound queue but when i define rule for Device attribute then no data comes to my Outboun queue.Here is the scenario what i am doing :
1. I have order header in my backend which has a field named "Work_Center" and this will be criteria field.
2. In CDS table i have all the records for all the work center.
3. Now in RMM under customized , i have added an attribute named "Work_center".
4. Now i defined a rule with Device attribute mapping and activated the rule.
5. Now on Portal i assigned this data object and in the device attribute tab i assigned the value(this value exist in CDS table for few orders) of a Work center to the attribute "Work_Center" .
6. Then i triggrere extract but its Outbound queue is empty, what could be the reason.
Is my approach is correct

You can check one ore thing, after you have performed all the steps till step 5, i.e. just before triggering
extract. Check if the AT table for ur DO has entries based on the criteria specified by you...
1. In the workbench click on the Data Object, and then right click and select "View Metadata".
2. Select Distribution Model tab.
3. Now select your DO's Association table.
4. For the input field DEVICE ID specify your corresponing device id,and also for status field specify it
as "I" and execute
If there are any entries now in the AT table, and on triggering extract if they are not coming to the
outbound Q there is some EXTRACT Q blocked. And is there were no entries in the AT then the rule
specified is not the satifying.

explain the exact problem..? as you mentioned you want to create query to show values for current month and last 12 months.. so I think you want to show values for 12 months from current data.. you can achive this by multiple way..
you can have selection screen and field with date .. and restrict based on system current date and 12 months before or you can handle this at your target.. .. I mean there are multiple ways to restrict data by date range..

I didn't look at the example, but if you want to secure your application then you should use container managed security. Read this .
Anyway, you could add this before return "good"; in your login_action()
FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getSessionMap().put("username", user);Then, you can access this from anywhere in the application by using #{sessionScope.username}.

Query required for rule

Below is the condition for which a query is to be written.
as of now this the query i have written. am getting the orderids which satisfy this rule but the output should include all those orderids which already satisfy the rule.(i.e the current o/p contains those orderids which share a common circuitid and have same start and end dates. the output required should include this as well as those orderids tat do not share circuitids.
or
the o/p should contain those orderids which do not fall into any of these categories)
The Rule:
For the Entity Circuit Orders if the Circuit Id is same for two different order IDs then the Order Start Date for the Order Id having Order Status as Installed should be same as the Order End Date for the Order Id having Order Status as Retired.

Problem when querying OLAP for Value based hierarchy

Hi I have problem when querying OLAP for value based hierarchy , for level based dimension it work fine
the strange part is if I only put one value, it will work perfectly
for example if I put only 1 value for that value base hierarchy like CF_HIER::426362, then it will get the correct value for that id 426362
but if I put multiple value to the list
CF_HIER::426362
CF_HIER::424470
CF_HIER::429073
CF_HIER::424230
then only some value will come out correctly, some of them will be 0, I wonder why because if I query using each value, then it show correct value
for multiple value usually only the top in hirarchy give correct value, but the leaf will give 0, but if I query only the leaf, the leaf will give correct value
this problem only happen for my value based hierarchy, for the level based hierarchy it work fine both for each value or multiple value in the list

UDEV rules for Xilinx FPGA devices

I recently purchased a Digilent Nexys3 FPGA board with a Xilinx Spartan 5 FPGA on it. I finally got around to finding some time to using it, and setting up the development environment under Arch linux.
After spending ages reading around about various problems and workarounds, I finally managed to get Xilinx ISE Webpack installed and working, as well as Digilent Adept software for downloading the designs to the development board. One issue still remains though. I am unable to download the designs to the FPGA as a normal user, but only as root.
I'm pretty sure this is a udev rules problem. Digilent supplies a rules file (attached below) which is supposed to grant permissions to all users to access the FPGA devices over USB. I placed this rule file under /etc/udev/rules.d, but I am still unable to access the devices as normal user due to the following error:
$ djtgcfg enum
libusb couldn't open USB device /dev/bus/usb/001/003: Permission Denied.
libusb requires write access to USB device nodes.
$
I believe that udev rules syntax changed since the last time I had a look at it, so maybe the supplied rules file still uses the old syntax? Any suggestions to fixing this rules file (attached below)?
