Diadem View does not reload saved data correctly
I am not sure what is going on but my data which is loaded contains multiple groups with the same channel names. This data is from a repetitive test so the data in all the files is similar. I create tabs in view for each data group and plot five charts for each data set. Everything looks good and I save the .TDV and the .TDM files. The problem comes when I try to reload the .TDV file. The data plots are all wrong with the exception of a few. They also look to be the same plots carried through all of the tabs. Not sure what is going on here but would appreciate a little help.
Hi Team Player,
We must try to reproduce the problem to find out what happens. Please,
send me the *.TDV file as well as the *.TDM/*.TDX file and a
description of the steps you have done. If your data are confidential
you can send it to my email address, directly ([email protected]).
Which exact DIAdem revision do you use (DIAdem menu -> Help -> About -> Versions)?
Greetings
Walter

Results view does not display any data
Hi
Every time I execute a query in the sql worksheet, I do not see anything in the results view. I only see the ouput in the output script folder. The output script view display is just like the usual sqlplus screen results. I want to look at the results in a table format that is suppose to be displayed in the results view.I used F5 and F9 to execute the query.
Can anyone tell me why this is so?
Example below is what I see in the output script view, when I run the query below.
select file_name,tablespace_name from dba_data_files;
FILE_NAME
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\SYSTEM01.DBF
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\UNDOTBS01.DBF
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\CWMLITE01.DBF
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\DRSYS01.DBF
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\EXAMPLE01.DBF
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\INDX01.DBF
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\ODM01.DBF
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\TOOLS01.DBF
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\USERS01.DBF
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\XDB01.DBF
D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORA92\TEST01.DBF
11 rows selected.
I want to be able to see the results in the results view in a table format. Why is this not happening?
Thanks.It works for me, when I use F9. Ensure you select the statement (unless it's the only statement) then press F9, or click the triangle button.
I guess it makes sense for F5, or execute script, to not show a table as there may be many selects, and other statements, in a script and there is no specific return value from a script.

Hi All,
I have a cube in which i'm using the TIME DIM that i created in the warehouse. But now i wanted a new measure in the cube which is Average over time and when i wanted to created the new measure i got a message that no time dim was defined, so i created a
new time dimension in the SSAS using wizard. But when i tried to process the new time dimension i'm getting the follwoing error message
"Errors in the high-level relational engine. The data source view does not contain a definition for "SSASTIMEDIM" the table or view. The Source property may not have been set."
Can anyone please tell me why i cannot create a new measure average over the time using my time dimension? Also what am i doing wrong with the SSASTIMEDIM, that i'm getting the error.
ThanksHi PMunshi,
According to your description, you get the above error when processing the time dimension. Right?
In this scenario, since you have updated the DSV, it should have no problem on the table existence. One possibility is that table has been specified for tracking in the notifications for proactive caching, but isn't available any more for some
reason. Please change the setting in Proactive Caching into "MOLAP".

DataGrid does not display XML data
Hello, and thanks for reading this...
I am having a problem displaying XMLList data in a DataGrid.
The data is coming from a Tree control, which is receiving it
from a database using HTTPService.
The data is a list of "Job Orders" from a MySQL database,
being formatted as XML by a PHP page.
If it would be helpful to see the actual XML, a sample is
here:
http://www.anaheimwib.com/_login/get_all_orders_test2.php
All is going well until I get to the DataGrid, which doesn't
display the data, although I know it is there as I can see it in
debug mode. I've checked the dataField property of the appropriate
DataGrid column, and it appears correct.
Following is a summary of the relevant code.
...An HTTPService named "get_all_job_orders" retrieves
records from a MySQL database via PHP...
...Results are formatted as E4X:
HTTPService resultFormat="e4x"
...An XMLListCollection's source property is set to the
returned E4X XML results:
...The "order" node is what is being used as the top-level of
the XML data.
<mx:XMLListCollection id="jobOrdersReviewXMLList"
source="{get_all_job_orders.lastResult.order}"/>
...The "jobOrdersReviewXMLList" collection is assigned to be
the dataProvider property of a Tree list, using the @name syntax to
display the nodes correctly, and a change event function is defined
to add the records to a DataGrid on a separate Component for
viewing the XML records:
<mx:Tree dataProvider="{jobOrdersReviewXMLList}"
labelField="@name"
change="jobPosForm.addTreePositionsToDG(event)"/>
...Here is the relevant "jobPosForm" code (the Job Positions
Form, a separate Component based on a Form) :
...A variable is declared:
[Bindable]
public var positionsArray:XMLList;
...The variable is initialized on CreationComplete event of
the Form:
positionsArray = new XMLList;
...The Tree's change event function is defined within the
"jobPosForm" Component.
...Clicking on a Tree node fires the Change event.
...This passes an event object to the function.
...This event object contains the XML from the selected Tree
node.
...The Tree node's XML data is passed into the positionsArray
XMLList.
...This array is the dataProvider for the DataGrid, as you
will see in the following block.
public function addTreePositionsToDG(event:Event):void{
this.positionsArray = selectedNode.positions.position;
...A datagrid has its dataProvider is bound to
positionsArray.
...(I will only show one column defined here for brevity.)
...This column has its dataField property set to "POS_TITLE",
a field in the returned XML record:
<mx:DataGrid width="100%" variableRowHeight="true"
height="75%" id="dgPositions"
dataProvider="{positionsArray}" editable="false">
<mx:columns>
<mx:DataGridColumn width="25" headerText="Position Title"
dataField="POS_TITLE"/>
</mx:columns>
</mx:DataGrid>
In debug mode, I can examine the datagrid's dataProvider
property, and see that the correct XML data from the Tree control
is present. However, The datagrid does not display the data in any
of its 6 columns.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks for your time.Hello again,
I came up with a method of populating the DataGrid from the
selected Item of a Tree Control which displays complex XML data and
XML attributes. After the user clicks on a Tree branch, I call this
function:
public function addTreePositionsToDG(event:Event):void{
//Retrieve all "position" nodes from tree.
//Loop thru each Position.
//Add Position data to the positionsArray Array Collection.
//The DataGrid dataprovider is bound to this array, and will
be updated.
positionsArray = new ArrayCollection();
var selectedNode:Object=event.target.selectedItem;//Contains
entire branch.
for each (var position:XML in
selectedNode.positions.position){
var posArray:Array = new Array();
posArray.PK_POSITIONID = position.@PK_POSITIONID;
posArray.FK_ORDERID = position.@FK_ORDERID;
posArray.POS_TITLE = position.@POS_TITLE;
posArray.NUM_YOUTH = position.@NUM_YOUTH;
posArray.AGE_1617 = position.@AGE_1617;
posArray.AGE_1821 = position.@AGE_1821;
posArray.HOURS_WK = position.@HOURS_WK;
posArray.WAGE_RANGE_FROM = position.@WAGE_RANGE_FROM;
posArray.WAGE_RANGE_TO = position.@WAGE_RANGE_TO;
posArray.JOB_DESCR = position.@JOB_DESCR;
posArray.DES_SKILLS = position.@DES_SKILLS;
positionsArray.addItem(posArray);
So, I just had to manually go through the selected Tree node,
copy each XML attribute into a simple Array, then ADD this Array to
an ArrayCollection being used as the DataProvider for the DataGrid.
It's not elegant, but it works and I don't have to use a Label
Function, which was getting way too complicated. I still think that
Flex should have an easier way of doing this. There probably is an
easier way, but the Flex documentation doesn't provide an easy path
to it.
I want to thank you, Tracy, for the all the help. I checked
out the examples you have at www.cflex.net and they are very
helpful. I bookmarked the site and will be using it as a resource
from now on. -
Ipad Calendar day view does not automatically updated to Today
I have just got my Ipad4 and I am having problem with my Calendar app. I like to have my calendar app open in Day view. However, the Day view show the date that the last time I open the calendar app. So if the last time I look at my calendar is on 12/20 and the next day 12/21 I open calendar it still show 12/20. However when I go to Month view, it correctly show Today as 12/21. Going from Month View to Day view does not change the Day view to today until I hit Today button. Is this the correct behavior?
Can anyone tell me whether the behaviour that I described in my first post is what everyone experiencing? Do I miss some setting to make the calendar app update the day view to current date everytime I open it?

can any one help us out to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
EDK......Hi,
Check the corrections given in the note 990764:
Reason and Prerequisites
Up to now, using a characteristic with its own master data read class as the InfoProvider was not supported. This is now released but it is not available for all modelings. Using the attributes in the query is not supported for characteristics that have their own master data read class. Using the attributes in the query causes a termination. Error while deploying map: ORA-00942 Table or view does not exist
Hi OWB experts,
I'm having yet another problem with OWB, this time when I try to deploy a mapping I get this error:
ORA-06550: line 59, column 3:
PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
DIM_01_ESTCON_MAP
ORA-06550: line 93, column 3:
PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored
If I open the package that OWB created I see the errors:
CURSOR "DEDUP_SRC_0_IN2_c" IS
SELECT
"DEDUP_INPUT_SUBQUERY2$1"."ESTADOCONEXION_ID" "ESTADOCONEXION_ID",
"DEDUP_INPUT_SUBQUERY2$1"."ESTADOCONEXION_COD_ESTCON" "ESTADOCONEXION_COD_ESTCON",
"DEDUP_INPUT_SUBQUERY2$1"."ESTADOCONEXION_DESC_ESTCON" "ESTADOCONEXION_DESC_ESTCON",

FROM

WHERE
( estado LIKE 'EC%' )) "DEDUP_INPUT_SUBQUERY2$1";
Where AYADEV_LOCATION points to the module/schema/location where my source data is.
Now, I have defined three modules:
SOURCE, where I defined the tables and other objects from the original database (source data)
STAGE, where I am performing all the transformations; here I defined all the maps
TARGET, this holds the dimensions and fact tables.
Now all three modules point to different databases. The dblink for AYADEV_LOCATION has been created and shouldn't present any problems. The username that I'm using to log on to the source database is current and I can connect to it through SQL+ or any other program (TOAD, SQLDeveloper).
What could be happening here? I'm using OWB 10g R2, with Oracle DB 10g R2.
I'd really appreciate any help you could provide.
Best Regards,
--Osvaldo
[osantos]Hi,
I'm still having problems but I found out why these tables are returning errors. The username I've been given by the DBA to connect to the database is CONSULTA, but this user is only for querying purposes, the actual objects reside on a differente schema, of course, which is PROD. So the line:
"CONSULTA"."ESTADOS"@"PROD@AYADEV_LOCATION" "ESTADOS"
raises an exception because the table ESTADOS is not located on that schema, but on PROD. If I query the table from SQL Plus with:
SELECT *
FROM [email protected]@AYADEV_LOCATION
then there's no problem at all.
Why is this? How do I instruct OWB to point to the correct schema or to avoind fully qualifying the table name?
Please help me, I'm kind of confused here.
Best Regards,
--oswaldo.

Why APEX 4.1 Error handling function does not trap the error of missing table?
Say, I create simple application with single IR report page and I also assign standard simple error handling function.
Function works perfectly, except but this case:
If I just drop a table used by report page and then refresh the page I am getting usual APEX error message:
ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
and error handling function is not invoked at all.
Is this a feature or a bug?Hi,

'ORA-00942: table or view does not exist'
According to the error message, it seems that the migrating table or view does not exist in the database, or SSMA does not have access to it. To troubleshoot the issue, please check the following things.
1. Verify that if the spelling of the table or view name is correct.
2. If the table or view exists but is in a different schema from the current schema where the SQL is executing (in other word, the table doesn’t own by you, but owned by other user), the ORA-00942 error will return too. Resolve this by
explicitly reference the table or view by specifying the schema name (schema_name.table_name).
3. SSMA queries some additional catalog tables that you may not have permission to, please make sure that you grant the account permission to
read sys.mlog$. For more details, please review this similar thread:

Cannot insert PS_TXN ORA-00942 table or view does not exist
We are using jdev 11.1.1.4.0
We have two users in the database and various application modules which connect to these users using datasources
We have tested the application with applicatin module pooling enabled off to test for passivation and activation errors and the application works fine.
Also on our internal test enviorment which has more then 10 concurrent users the application works fine
But at UAT it has started suddenly to give errors Cannot insert in PS_TXN ORA-00942 table or view does not exist
When I see the data in PS_TXN tables in various users I can see that passivation has taken place for the same day when there sporadic errors have been reported all having the cause as ORA-00942 table or view does not exist.
But one strange thing that I have observed is that the COLLID column has sequence numbers interchanged for the users randomly, database user 1 has sequence number from database user 2 seq and vice a versa in COLLID
As far as this problem goes the passivation should have failed with ORA-00001 primary key voilated but that is not the case
May be the keys have still not got to a number where they collide.
But I am totally taken aback on such a behaviour and I am not sure how to correct it.
So we have two porblems here
1) why did this error come in first place PS_TXN ORA-00942 table or view does not exist
2) Why are the sequence numbers interchanged for the databse users ?
Edited by: user3067156 on Jun 19, 2012 3:12 AMI got reply to my second question
It looks like a bug in the framework and the suggestions are to use only one ps_txn and ps_txn_seq by modifying the internal connection
But the first problem is not yet known why did it appear suddenly

The XI does not send messages with correct IDOC structure
SAP XI 3.0 sends to ECC IDOC HRMD_A07
The XI does not send messages with correct IDOC structure.
In XI Design, Software Component RHEVOLU, Ive imported the Objects
HRMD_A.HRMD_A07 from SAP ECC; In Tools -> Export Reduced XSD, I saved
HRMD_A.HRMD_A07.xsd in Namespace http://suezambiental.com.br/HR . At
Message Mapping -> mmAdmissao, in Imported Message -> Import XML or
XSD, I imported the reduced Idoc file generated above, mapping source
fields to target fields.
The IDOC sent from XI to ECC has this structure (template: 22122)
E1PLOGI
E1PORIG
E1PITYP
E1P0000
E1P0001
E1P0002
Status 53 -HR: ALE inbound processing for HR master data
But does not update HR Master data.
The structure expected in ECC side (template: 20376) is:
E1PLOGI
E1PORIG
E1PITYP
E1P0000
E1PITYP
E1P0001
E1PITYP
E1P0002
Status 53 -HR: ALE inbound processing for HR master data
By using WE19 transaction, this structure was changed manually; so, the
HR Master data was updated.
Witch kind of customizing or correction could be made in XI, to send
the correct structure to ECC?
Best Regards
ClaudioHi Claudio,
In your case, there are perhaps two causes:
1. perhaps when you have import the idoc, for a strange reason, a bad metadata was created by XI. You can clean this one in tcode <b>IDX2</b> (Idoc metadata cache).
2. but it's also probably an error in your Message Mapping. Have you correctly manage segment E1PITYP?

I'm having a weird issue. I've got some GL data that I want to report on in three different grains: Quarter To Date, Year To Date and Entire Year. For the first two measures, I've setup a time dimension and I'm using the ToDate function. Works perfectly. For the third measure, I select the SUM aggregation and then in the Levels Tab, I go to my time dimension and set the logical level to "Year".
Each measure reports correctly by itself, however, when I join in the three in one report, the who thing blows up on me and gives me an ORA message:
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 17001] Oracle Error code: 942, message: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist at OCI call OCIStmtExecute. [nQSError: 17010] SQL statement preparation failed. (HY000)
When I only do two of the measures (any two), the report works fine. But it's when I add that third measure in, I get myself in trouble. Additionally, I checked the log file and the report never gets to the point where it generates a physical query. It's only creating a logical query and then it doesn't save the physical query anywhere.
Can anyone explain what the problem is? Why don't these three measures behave well together? What can I do to force them to co-operate?
It seems that the real culprit is the entire year measure. It only behaves well with 1 other measure, but once you get two additional measures, it causes the report to get the ORA error.
Thanks for any help you can give!
-JoeIt turns out I was incorrect that there were no physical queries being generated. They were there in the log files, they had so many SAWITH<number> clauses that I thought they were the logical query (i.e. saw_0, saw_1, etc).
Once I found the physical query, I ran it by hand and also got the table did not exist error. I added in WITH clause by with clause until I got the error to occur. After about an hour of digging, it turned out that a query using a full outer join (about 16 queries in) caused the table does not exist error. I'm not sure what it is about the full outer join that makes Oracle not see the table. When I get some free time I'll dig deeper into that issue.
But once I realized what was going on, I went into the DB connections and disabled FULL OUTER JOINs. No problem now.
Like I said, if I find what caused the original problem (i.e. what syntactically was incorrect about the FULL OUTER JOIN), I'll update this post.

"BP Category 1 does not fit the data in category 2" "Replies Appreciated"
Hi Gurus,
When i am trying to create an "Individual Account" in UI, I am getting the error "BP Category 1 does not fit the data in category 2".
If i try to create a "group" then it says "BP Category 3 does not fit the data in category 2".
It allows me to create only "Corporate Account" i..e. Category 2.
What should i do to create "Individual Account" and "Group". (Category1 & Category 3).
Individual Account (Category 1) - "BP Category 1 does not fit the data in category 2".
Corporate Account (Category 2) - Able to create only Corporate Account
Group (Category 3) - "BP Category 3 does not fit the data in category 2".
Thanks & Regards
RohanHi Rohan,
Hope this SAP Note : 1232459, Solves your problem.
You might have created a custom configuration for corporate accounts.
Unfortunately in case of custom configurations exist, they are selected with higher priority.
So in this case the configuration for corporate accounts is also shown for individual accounts,
this causes error.
In order to solve this problem, create a custom configuration for individual account also,
i.e for view BP_HEAD/AccountDetails. Object type BP_ACCOUNT and object subtype INDIVIDUAL.
Please make sure that the custom configuration includes the fields firstname and lastname for
persons instead of name1 and name2 which are only allowed for corporate accounts.
I hope the above information resolves your problem.
Best Regards
Shiven

Export iDVD menu template as movie...
Has anyone figured on a way to export an iDVD template (with content in the drop zones) for use in other apps such as Final Cut. I've done this with iMovie and it works great, but there doesn't seem to be a way in iDVD other than burning it to a DVD
