Dialog programming - bring screen in front

I have a requirement where I am supposed to call a module pool screen in search help exit  of material using call transaction. It is working when i use F4 help from MM03, but when i am using the same search help from a custom sceen, the new screen opens behind the F4 help screen. Is there a way i can bring that screen in front?

Hi,
try the following:
In SE51 of your screen select screen attributes and change screen type to Modal dialog box Then it should come to front!

    I have developed screen layout in SE51 and same is used in my program.Program is working fine but the problem is in column order.I designed layout in SE51 by copying structure from ABAP dictionary and same has been used in my program but output layout column order is completely different from SE51 screen layout.When i check this on Se51,everything is in order.
    My program is referring the same screen number and program.there is only one screen i.e 100.

    Looks like, your table settings got changed for the table control on the screen.
    Run your program.
    Now, on the screen you can find out the "Table Settings" in the Top Right corner of the Table control as ICON.
    Press the Icon and it will bring the Table Settings screen.
    In the Current Settings, choose the Basic Settings ... save and close.

  • Dialog Programming ("Required" Screen Field) Processing

    Hey Guys,
    I have a screen that contains a field that I have set as "Required". I also have 2 buttons on the Function Keys bar
    BACK -> LEAVE TO SCREEN 0. and
    EXIT -> LEAVE PROGRAM.
    My problem is that I want to process these buttons even if the user has not entered any information in the "Required" field, since the user wants to leave the screen and not process data.
    Is there a way to bypass the "Required" clause?

      Welcome to SDN!!!!
      SAP does automatic data transfer when u have the variable defined in the Program and same variable(name) being used in any number of screens in the same program.
    U donot want to worry abt Data Transfers!!!

  • Selction screen in dialog program

    Hi All..
    In my requirement, i need a selection screen that has a parameter for the PO number. Based on the valid PO number, the line items of the PO need to be displayed on the screen where the user should be able to split the line items into different batches.
    Once batch split is done, need to do a GR for the updated split data. Appreciate your help on how this can be acieved. Can we design a selection screen in dialog program ?
    Also how we can provide the split functionality (insertion of new rows for main line items to have the user enter new rows for exisitng line items to enter new batch number and quantity).

    Yes, you can be defining the selection screen as a subscreen and then embeding in a subscreen area of a dynpro, but it is  hardly worth it for just a parameter, it would be a different story if it were a select-option.  
    You can simply add the parameter to the dynpro using a regular input field.

    I have used a selection screen in the dialog programming.
    I have written some code in the at selection screen to display the output on a table control in another screen 1001.
    my problem is that when i try to enter the multiple values for material ,
    it goes to the at selection screen and displays the output again.
    if i write the code in start of selection instead of at selection screen
    it doesnt give any output at all.

    Could anybody help how to print the output of a screen in the dialog programming. i can select 'Hard Copy' option in the 'Custumizing of Local Layout' Icon in the standard tool bar. but that prints the whole screen with the toolbar. i want to print only the output which is displayed on the screen. Please help..

        Ok. Do One thing. Go to menu bar and select Systems -> Own pool Request -> here you get the spool number. Select it and select the option "Print Directly" in tool bar.

    I have a custom container control. I want to insert a dialog program screen in custom container control in one half and tree nodes in the other half.
    Now my dialog screen has a table control. I want that the user can drag n drop the nodes in the cells of my table control.
    Please help.

    I don't think drag n drop works in table control. You may need to change table control to ALV grid control.
