Did anyone used GnuMICR in check printing?

Did anyone used GnuMICR.ttf freeware font in check printing? Please let me know your comments on this font. Do you know what is the best website that can provide commercial MICR font.

I've got a client that's in production with it, it was acceptable to Bank of America. I'm working on another client and will be trying it shortly with JPMorgan Chase. Just order yourself a glardon guage online if you don't have one already from your bank, that'll help you place the MICR on the check template.

Issue with BDC program used for FBZ5 (Check Print)

I am having one requirement in Check printing. as per that i have made one Z program which will accept multiple Payment documents. I am passing selected accounting documents to BDC routine for Transaction FBZ5. (As in FBZ5 we can take a print for one Payment document not for multiple)
We can have 3 scenarios in FBZ5
1. Fresh Check printing (First time check printing)
2. Old Check (printing for same Check no)
3. New Check (After voiding older check)
Category 1 and 2 are working fine but i am facing problem in category 3.
For Category 3 : BDC Screen flow is like this
A. Tcode FBZ5 Start program: SAPMFCHK Screen: 750 --> Click on 'Print'
B. Program: SAPLSPO2 Screen: 0100 --> Here specify option 'New Check'
C. Program: SAPMFCHK Screen: 0700
    - This program belongs to new Tcode FCH7
    - Here we have to give Void Reason code
Now issue with Category 3:
While executing BDC in online and background mode my control is terminating at step C mentioned above
Troubleshooting:
I have debugged standard program of FBZ5
1. in Include MFCHKFD0 we can see call to Tcode FCH7 (PERFORM AUFRUF_FCH7.)
2. in form AUFRUF_FCH7 i found code related to BDC
   also there one statement is getting triggered -->   CALL TRANSACTION 'FCH7' USING BDC MODE 'A'.
So there is a BDC call inside my Z BDC program, so is this a reason why my program is not working for above scenario ?
Or can't we handle above scenario in a way mentioned above?

I was trying to upload customer master in fd01 using bdc. The screens were different while recording. So could not perform the upload. Thenone screen was skipped so that the bdc was working fine and the data was uploaded.
This is the flow of the recording.

Did anyone notice: Safari completely ignores printer margins

Hi,
I'm trying to print some labels through Safari. My printer driver works fine. All I have to do is adjust the printer margins in Safari.
I'm creating a new custom size and add the margin default values of my label printer (0,2 cm). I can save the settings without problems but neither the preview on the left nor the printed labels show any changes in the margins. Safari completely ignores custom margin settings and keeps it's default settings when printing.
I've tried all day googling for a solution, but there is none. My question: has anyone experienced the same issue? Is there any sort of bugfix? I'm sure it has nothing to do with my printer. I can create a PDF with the same margin problems...

this is how I tried so far:
1) Open website
2) CMD+P opens print dialogue
3) Select custom paper size (in my case 2.9cm x 8.98 cm)
3a) Within the custom paper size dialogue I can select default margins for my printer or set my own (I tried both without difference)
4) OK
5) The preview on the left does NOT change the margins. Also the PDF preview and the printed result look exactly the same. The margins stay the same throughout.

Did anyone used Execution trace toolkit ??

Hi all!
I try to debug an RT application using Execution trace toolkit, and i wanted to tell everybody this tool is unuseable !!! It's impossible to debug anything with such a tool, and i wander how it's possible to even sell this tool !!! I have a 3.2Ghz with 1Gb RAM and this program takes 100% CPU during 2mn to refresh the screen !! Everytime you make a zoom, move the scrollbar... it takes more than 2mn !!!! And no : I didn't parameter a buffer of 5 000 000 (but 200 000, so approximatively 3ms of trace) !
So my questions are the following:
1) Does anyone have the same problem ?
2) Is there an other tool able to read a .log file ?
3) Is NI working on a better version for this tool ???

Though this is getting off topic; the issue with NI-CAN priority inversion was resolved by using multiple CAN cards. According to the developers at NI a two channel CAN card (I use the PXI-8464) has the same onboard embedded processor (386) and shared memory resources as a single channel card. Though the series2 cards were redesigned to improve throughput there are still some issues such as accessing the drivers from multiple threads.
I used the trace execution toolkit to identify the problem, but had to use internal resources within the NI-CAN group to find a resolution. Their proposal was to use multiple cards, and use only 1 channel on each. Yes; this can be an expensive proposal; particularly if you have to get a larger chassis as was my case. To get all of the cards working together "properly" (as their timebases are not sync'ed to RT); I had to use a pair of timers on a DAQ board which I happen to have in my system. DAQmx was used to route a shared clock across the RTSI backplane and also act as a synchronized time source for a few timed loops that I use to service CAN. Third Party Printing Software recommendations for Oracle R12 AP Check printing

We currently use Formscape for check printing in Oracle 11i. upgrade to R12 , Oracle AP checks are PDF and we are looking for alternatives for third party tools.
Any recommendations are appreciated.

Check print using f110

i copied the check print script F110_PRENUM_CHCK....and made changes as per required...
i did no change in the driver program ie RFFOUS_C....
now i m using two tcodes F110 & FBZ5...for printing...check....
its printing properly from FBZ5 ....but while printing thru F110 it is printing two checks.....
i removed( commented the text in scripts and deleted the next page ) the advice note ,summary ,i m printing only the check....
F110 is printing two check e.g.000320,000321.........
is it a problem of configuration...plz let me knw....
i also changed the script name from FBZP....
so plz let me knw...

When the SAPscript form is called, it uses the formname which is setup in configuration. The following is the path in configuration (t-code SPRO) where the formname is entered:

This path (in SPRO) will allow you to setup payment methods and the corresponding form names for a particular company code. Once you select a specific company code and click on the "Allocate forms to payment method in company code" folder in the left-hand window area, it looks like you have the option to specify a SAPscript formname or a "PDF-based Payment Medium Form"
I am unsure of the actual logic used to call the Adobe form.

I'm thinking of getting this printer. Can anyone using this with Snow Leopard please let me know how well it works? Any issues? Nice printer? I will be replacing a Samsung CLP-315 which prints very nicely, but doesn't work well after updating from Tiger to SL.

It works just fine. I picked up a 1525 yesterday, configured it using Lion, and I just now configured my wife's SL laptop to work with it. No problems. Just don't install the HP disk and let OS-X grab drivers for it and you should be fine.
It's a little tricky configuring with Lion for wireless printing, but it's doable. See my post at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3449512 for a checklist.

After printing the remaining spaces should be filled with '*'
I used the below command
