Is there some informations available about the differences between SDK 2005 and 2007?
    Thanks in advance,

    Chief,
There is a "compatibility" document that outlines what has changed between version with respect to issues you could run into as well as new features in the 2007A SDK.  You can find those documents here on SDN at ...

please, can someone help me to find a SAP document about the differences between SDK 2005 and SDK 2007?
I need a document or web link...

    Hi Emanuele,
The documentation you request is in the SDK's chm help file (that comes with the SDK itself).
Open the Help file and go to the Index tab. There you'll find a "What's New" topic.

  • Difference between MYSAP 2005 and ECC 6.0

    Hi All,
Can you Please explain what are the components that come under MYSAP 2005
    and ECC 6.0.
Like what are the modules that come under these.
    Thanks
    Arun

    Hi,
For the differences between mySAP ERP 2004 and 2005 from a hardware perspective, please see SAP Note 901070.
It is a full upgrade to upgrade from mySAP ERP 2004 to 2005 (not simply applying support packages). Of course the impact of even a technical upgrade depends on the functionality that you have deployed and if there are major changes between the 2004 and 2005 release. In most cases this is minimal but investigation is required and you should test everything for signoff. Do not let a technical upgrade be considered a no brainer, some people get tripped up with not checking everything and finding the unexpected after go live.
You mentioned that you want to start using xSS. I would suggest that you start with mySAP ERP 2005 as there are technology changes in mySAP ERP 2005 in the xSS solution and it will save you rework in the long term - xSS is written in Web Dynpro for Java and not ITS based in mySAP ERP 2005.
In regard to satisfaction with the upgrade, I would suggest you ask SAP to talk to references and check with your local SAP user group to see if anyone has done it.
I hope this helps in some way.
    Thanks,
    Shankar

    Hello all
i have 2 broken Power Mac G5's and i am trying to swap the broken PSU from Machine 2(Quad with faulty processor) to Machine 1(Dual with broken PSU) - is anybody kind enough to advise if the PSU can be swapped between those 2 models?

    Machine 2): G5 Quad Core (2.5) - late 2005, Model A1117, Serial: CK54900PR70

  • Any compatibility between VSS 2005 and Dw CS3?

I've been trying to use VSS 2005 with Dw CS3 but after I set up my site, I was able to check out files OK. I can see files checked out in VSS as well as in CS3 but when I try to check in a file I get the error saying "File or project not found". I have Windows XP and wonder if VSS 2005 is compatible with Dw CS3 or not.
Thanks for your help in advance.

I have had no problems moving from 8 on Windows XP Pro to 9 on Windows 7
    64 Professional nor in interoperating
with CS4. But my files may be much smaller than yours.

  • SSIS 2005 and SSIS 2012 Have Different Data Flow Output

    Hi Guys,
I'm currently converting our SSIS 2005 packages to 2012 and I'm finding an odd difference on the Data Flow Output when it imports a txt file to a table.
We have a pipe delimited file ( contains a totals on the bottom row).
    CATNO|Title|Total Stk Avail|Stk on Order|Rank|QOH|Allocated|Reserved|BackOrd|WIP|Cleared|Held
    CATNUM000067|Fast and Furious|9804|0||9804|0|0|0|0|0|0
    CATNUM000068|Frozen|0|0||0|0|0|0|0|0|0
    CATNUM000029|Brave|0|0||0|0|0|0|0|0|0
    CATNUM000029|Brave with Kinect|0|0||0|0|0|0|0|0|0
    CATNUM000029|Big Hero|0|0||0|0|0|0|0|0|0
    CATNUM000057|Transformers|27376|0||27376|0|0|0|0|0|0
    CATNUM000013|James Bond|121|0||121|0|0|0|0|0|0
    ,Total Available Stock,524259
And these are the settings for the flat file connection
In SSIS 2005, the total rows are being omitted automatically by the data flow. Basically only 7 rows are inserted whereas in SSIS 2012. 8 rows were inserted including the totals.
if we think about it, SSIS 2012 is correct since we just feed what's ever in the file.
But on the conversion and testing perspective, it's now harder as there's discrepancies between those 2 version.
I just like to check if there's any other discrepancies in terms on results/output between SSIS 2005 and SSIS 2012
    Many thanks.

    Hi Vinxster,
After testing the issue that Flat File Connection Manager cannot handle file with total row in my SQL Server 2005 environment, I can reproduce it.
Based on my research, the issue is caused by the Column Delimiter gets first preference and then Row delimiter. This is by design in SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008 or SQL Server 2008 R2.
Good news is that the issue is fixed in SQL Server Data Tools which comes with SQL Server 2012. In SQL Server 2012, by default, the Flat File Connection Manager always checks for a row delimiter in unquoted data, and starts a new row when a row delimiter
is found. This enables the connection manager to correctly parse files with rows that are missing column fields.
If you want to fix the issue in SQL Server 2005, there is a sample component posted to the CodePlex that might help you with this:

  • Terminology differences between MSSQL 2005/2008 and Oracle 11g

I'm looking for some articles/books/webinars/blogs which discuss the terminology differences between MSSQL 2005/2008 and Oracle 11g in terms of database concepts. I have found this article http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/SQL+Server/67007 so far.
    Thanks.

Thanks sb92075. Those returned results are almost all related to compare the features/functionalities between MSSQL and Oracle not to distinguish the terminology differences between them.

  • Differences between 4.6c and ECC

    Hi,
Is there any link or website, where i can get the diferences between 4.6 and ECC 6.0 Versions. Or if there is any document on that..can anybody send me that to may mail id...
              Thanks,
               Ram.

There are so many differences between the version in different objects
I will explain in two or more objects the difference
1 in the customer master in 4.6 version there is no partner function tab in the customer in xd01 t-code
and also there is no CIN tab in that version
but it is there in the 4.7 EE version
This is the major change from the 4.6cc to 4.7EE
    2. in 4.7EE there is some settings that are related for CIN
which cannot be done in 4.7EE that means they need some patches for doing the configuration setting for the CIN
But we can do the same in the 6.0 version
These are the some of the settings that are differed in the two versions and in that two objects

A2. When you are upgrading from 4.6C to ECC6
Nothing major, follow the same process you'd follow if you were updating PI service packs in R/3 or enhancing data sources. Empty queues in RSA7 and lbwq. Also empty setup tables through lbwg as the upgrade doesn't like it if these tables contain data. This is all on the R/3 side (although you empty RSA7 by running each delta TWICE in BW).
To transfer queues from lbwq to rsa7, execute jobs through LO cockpit (lbwe).
Some of your data sources could also be using sm13 instead of lbwq, so do check it out as well.
For installing ECC 6.0 you required a solution manager key. With out solution manager key you cannot install ECC6.0.
For ECC 6.0 is called net weaver component here you have ABAP+JAVA stack.
    ECC6.0 supports UNCODE.
For installing 4.6 you don't require solution manager key. It only having ABAP stack.
    4.6C supports NONUNICODE.
Major difference is ECC6 is netwear product having WASJAVA+ABAP
secondly support unicode apart from this we have other diff. you can get form master guide from service.sap.com/instguides.
Please go through the link that is shown here and if there is any doubts then feel free to ask.

  • List of differences between PSE 40 and PSE30

A lot of users are asking what are the differences between PSE 30 and PSE 40.
This Thread provides information on this subject. First, you will find information copied from the section "New Features" of the useful "Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 User Guide". Then later on, you might find additional information on the same subject provided by users of PSE.
--- Start of copy of information in the PSE 4.0 User Guide ----
    1 What's new in PSE 4.0
    1.1 Editing and selection
    1.1.1 Magic Selection Brush tool
Easily and accurately select portions of your photos using this new tool in either Standard Edit and Quick Fix. Simply scribble or place dots on the object you want to select -no need to precisely outline the object- and Adobe Photoshop Elements selects the object for you. You can add to or subtract from the selection by using additional tools in the options bar. (See User Guide "To use the Magic Selection Brush tool" on page 193.)
    1.1.2 Magic Extractor.
Easily select an object in a photo and extract it from its background. Just scribble or place dots on
the object you want to extract; then scribble or place dots on the background, and Photoshop Elements separates the object from its background. This tool is perfect for creating composites or scrapbook images. (See User Guide "To use the Magic Extractor" on page 194.)
    1.1.3 Skin tone adjustment
Click an area of skin and watch the tonal balance of all colors in the photo improve. If you
want, you can also manually adjust the color by using color sliders. (See User Guide "To adjust the color of skin tone" on page 224.)
    1.1.4 Red eye removal
Automatically remove red eye during import, or select one or more files and easily remove red eye
in either the Organizer or the Editor. (See User Guide "To remove red eye" on page 249.)
    1.1.5 Defringe
Automatically remove the colored specs or halo around the edges of a selection. (See User Guide "To defringe a Selection" on page 200.)
    1.1.6 Straighten tool
Straighten and crop crooked photos by drawing a horizontal or vertical line in the image. Photoshop
Elements aligns the photo to that line. (See User Guide "To straighten an image" on page 243.)
    1.1.7 WYSIWYG font menu
What you see is what you get -see what each font looks like from within the font menu. (See
User Guide "To choose a font family and style" on page 332.)
    1.2 Sharing and printing
1.2.1 One-click printing (US, Canada, Japan only)
Order prints and professional hardbound photo books directly from Photoshop Elements simply by dragging the items to the Order Prints palette. (See User Guide "To use the Order Prints palette (US, Canada, Japan only)" on page 401.)
    1.2.2 Slide shows on TV
If you have Windows¨ XP Media Center 2005 installed, you can view your Photoshop Elements
slide shows on your TV and navigate using your TV remote control. (See User Guide "To output a slide show" on page 354.)
    1.3 Tagging and organizing
    1.3.1 Face tagging
Select a group of photos and let Photoshop Elements isolate and display all the faces so that you can
quickly tag them. The Find Faces dialog box displays thumbnails of each face until you tag it. (See User Guide "To automatically find faces for tagging" on page 101.)
    1.3.2 Search by metadata
Search for a variety of metadata criteria, such as file name, file type, shutter speed, camera
model, date, and tags. You can search on multiple criteria at once. (See User Guide "To find photos by details (metadata)" on page 89.)
    1.3.3 PDF support
Manage and tag PDF files in the Organizer. PDF files remain intact as one file that you can tag. Open
the PDF in the Editor to extract individual pages. (See User Guide "To open a PDF file" on page 148.)
--- Continuation in next Post of this Thread ----

--- Continuation from previous Post -----
    2 What's changed in PSE 4.0
    2.1 Editing and selecting
    2.1.1 Crop tool
Freely change image size boundaries while cropping an image. When you're happy with your crop marks,
click the Commit button , which is now conveniently located at the bottom right corner of the crop border. (See User Guide "To crop an image" on page 240.)
    2.1.2 Paragraph text
Create paragraph text by dragging a border with the Text tool. The text you enter inside the border
wraps to remain inside the boundaries. (See User Guide "To add text" on page 329.)
    2.1.3 Quick Fix
Use the newly enhanced automatic correction options for the most common photo flaws. (See User Guide "To correct color in Quick Fix" on page 207.)
    2.1.4 Easier color management
Easily get the color you expect when printing. N ew options and improved embedded
profile support streamline color management. (See User Guide "About color management" on page 236.)
    2.1.5 Advanced camera raw
Fine tune exposure and lighting by working with the raw data from your digital camera, and
easily export photos to the universal DNG format. (See User Guide "About camera raw image files" on page 159.)
    2.1.6 Artifact reduction
Quickly remove noise caused by shooting in low light or with ISO camera settings by using the
new Remove JPEG Artifacts option in the Noise filter. (See User Guide "Reduce Noise" on page 289.)
    2.2 Sharing and printing
    2.2.1 Multimedia slide shows
Create feature-rich slide shows with all the new tools and options available in the Slide Show
    Editor:
    a) Gracefully move from one image to another by adding interesting transitions between each slide. You can choose from over 50 transitions, such as dissolves and doors. (See User Guide "To add and edit transitions" on page 352.)
