Difference between space shown on iPhone and in iTunes

My iPhone 6 plus showed that I was low on space.  Only 513MB.  When I plugged it into iTunes, the bar across the bottom shows that I have over 2GB free.  I have restarted my phone, iTunes and the computer as well as sync'd a few times but the numbers are not eve close.  Does anyone know why that would be?

Removing an App on a specific iPhone/iPad in iTunes or on the device itself does the same thing. The app will remain in your iTunes library.
If you want to delete an app forever from iTunes...
1. Select 'show sidebar' in the iTunes 'View' menu
2. Select Apps in the sidebar
3. Select "All' in the top of the Apps pane
4. Navigate to the App you want to delete (you can also use the search field at the upper right of the window)
5. Select the App and press 'Delete' key
Alternatively...
To quickly get to the App(s) you want to delete:
1. From anywhere in iTunes (no navigating required) Press Command-F (ctrl-f on PC) to enter the search box.
2. Select the App from the dropdown results
3. Press 'Delete'

To start up your computer in Apple Hardware Test:
Press the power button to turn on your computer.
Press and hold the D key before the gray startup screen appears. If Apple Hardware Test does not start up, see the Additional Information section at the end of this article.
Note: Some Macintosh computers that shipped with OS X Lion support the use of Apple Hardware Test over the Internet. These computers will start up to an Internet-based version of AHT if the hard drive does not contain AHT.  An Internet-enabled connection via Ethernet or Wi-Fi is required to use this feature.
It takes a minute or so for Apple Hardware Test to start up and inspect your hardware configuration. While this is taking place, an icon appears on the screen:
When the process is complete, select your language and click the right arrow. If you aren't using a mouse, you can use the up and down arrows to select a language and then press the Return key.
The Apple Hardware Test console appears. You can choose which sort of test or tests to perform:
To perform all of the basic tests, click the Test button or press the "T" key or the Return key.
To perform a more thorough diagnostic test, select the "Perform extended testing" checkbox under the Test button before you click the Test button.
Your test results will appear in the window in the bottom-right of the console.
To exit AHT, click Restart or Shut Down at the bottom of the window.

  • Difference between SAP-CRM 2007 UI and previous version UI.

    hi,
anyone knows the differences difference between SAP-CRM 2007 UI and previous version UI.
anykind of links or files are helpful.
    regards.
    raman.

    Hi,
actually quite a late response and I think all the rather technically focuses comments have already been given, incl. the link to a really good slide deck, that explains all the technical architecture details on what exactly we did.
From an end user perspective some other statements on what we did:
    (1) From an information architecture and visualization perspective we acted based on feedback from our customers in the last years, which led to some restructuring of the screen, e.g. moving the navigation bar from the top area of the screen (horizontal) to the left hand side --> sounds simple but users tend to have problem seeing thing at the top of the screen. We also decided to arrange the information for e.g. an account or an opportunity not in a tab oriented format. Again usability tests in CRM had shown that users often find it hard to see and understand that tabs contain additional information. We now show the details in assignment blocks below the header information in a scrollable format. Vertical scrolling is a behavior of a screen that most users know from their internet experience. Those are just two exampels of what we did in this area
    (2) We also have put a large focus on well known web behaviors, like drag & drop and personalization in general, knowing that on the one hand side, no matter what standard UI we deliver, users tend to adapt it exactly based on their needs and wishes. So you will find really easy to understand personalization options everywhere in the new CRM Web Client UI. To achieve this we used lots of web 2.0 techologies that enable especially these easy interactive capabilitites.
    (3) Finally, and this relates directly to the arguments mentioned in (2) we focused as well on really easy UI configuration. Again, in every customer project user interface changes are made, to adapt the SAP default to the customers needs. here we invested a lot to make the 60-80% most common UI changes done in projects as easy as possible, that even non-technical people can generally do it (like Power users).
Hope this clarifies some arguments what from the users point of view has been done and what the advantages are.
When you follow the same link as mentioned by Nadine above, you can also find a presentation UI Concept, which explains all the details rather from a users perspective.
Best regards and enjoy the new UI ..and every feedback is very much welcome, only with your feedback we can improve the solution even more.

  • Difference between sm$ts_avail, sm$ts_free and sm$ts_used

    Hi,
Please let me know about difference between sm$ts_avail, sm$ts_free and sm$ts_used?
As far as i know, sm$ts_free shows same free space as the dba_free_space.
But what about sm$ts_avail and sm$ts_used?
    Thanks.

Views you are talking about are now almost paleolithic dictionary structures of oracle rdbms, still present in the newer releases probably only due to
the some sort of internal compatibility and/or dependencies that are very likely too complicated to be removed and left out 'just like that' from the future releases.
Werner is absolutely right, but it seems you forgot to mention those few relevant and often very useful informations that are here so often requested abd missed by the OP...maybe you were under the impressions of the '$' objects.
Those objects you asking about are views that were originally installed and created with the [Server Manager|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/A57673_01/DOC/dcommon/oin/indexj.htm] installation.
I guess they are still somehow related to now-days similar system management tools like for example Oracle enterprise manager or Grid control.
Differences can be observed in several ways :
    One would be:

    PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.4.0 - Production

  • What is the difference between "Sort By", "Arrange By", and "Clean Up By"?

What is the difference between "Sort By", "Arrange By", and "Clean Up By"? They are different from SL.

A MAC address is a unique identification consisting of letters and numbers in a form that looks like this:
    xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
Every network device has a MAC address, which can be found on a label on the bottom or back of the device. Apple calls this the Ethernet ID.
A DHCP Client ID is an optional name that you can assign to a device. For example, on your Mac....
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
    Open Network
    Click on Ethernet
Click Advanced at the lower right
You may be able to edit the DHCP Client  ID here....for example.....you could enter MJ500's MacBook in the space provided. That would be the Client ID of your Mac.

  • What is the difference between a tablespace, a segment and an extent ?

What is the difference between a tablespace, a segment and an extent ? Please explain in layman terms since I'm a total newbie to Oracle.
    Regards
    Gony

    Hi,
These are logical structure of database
    1. Tablespace : A database is divided into logical storage units called tablespaces, which group related logical structures together. For example, tablespaces commonly group together all application objects to simplify some administrative operations.
    2.Segments
Above extents, the level of logical database storage is a segment. A segment is a set of extents allocated for a certain logical structure. The following table describes the different types of segments.
    Segment Description
    Data segment
Each nonclustered table has a data segment. All table data is stored in the extents of the data segment.
For a partitioned table, each partition has a data segment.
Each cluster has a data segment. The data of every table in the cluster is stored in the cluster's data segment.
    Index segment
Each index has an index segment that stores all of its data.
For a partitioned index, each partition has an index segment.
    Temporary segment
Temporary segments are created by Oracle when a SQL statement needs a temporary work area to complete execution. When the statement finishes execution, the extents in the temporary segment are returned to the system for future use.
    Rollback segment
If you are operating in automatic undo management mode, then the database server manages undo space using tablespaces. Oracle Corporation recommends that you use "Automatic Undo Management" management.
    3. Extents
The next level of logical database space is an extent. An extent is a specific number of contiguous data blocks, obtained in a single allocation, used to store a specific type of information.

  • Is there is any difference between iPhone4 made for Ukraine and for India?

I would like to know about the hardware / software difference between iPhone4 made for Ukraine and for India.
I purchased my iPhone4 in Ukraine and now I'm in India, and here due to restart problem I visit to a local delear/shopkeeper and he replaced some parts of my device with damaged one (crack screen, etc etc) and told me that it is a scrap and need another iPhone4 to replace some parts of it. Now this cell is totally brick, I can't check the EMEI of that device {because now its not booting} and he didn't accept that he replace some/all parts of my device.
So, I want to know that is there is any way to locate these parts?

Apple does not sell iPhone parts. You no longer have an iPhone. You have an unsupportable frankenphone.
Go back to whoever opened it up and attempted to repair it. Your phone is not supportable here.

  • HT4203 what is the difference between turning off "enable 3G" and "cellular data"

what is the difference between turning off "enable 3G" and "cellular data"?

Turning enable 3G off turns 3G network access off. This does not prevent the iPhone from internet access via your carrier's EDGE or GPRS network which is much slower.
Turning Cellular Data off turns cellular data off completely. No internet access via your carrier's cellular network.

  • Difference between cleared items, open items and all postings (FI).

    Hi experts,
Can anybody tell me the difference between cleared items, open items and all postings for an account.
While running corresponding bapis and transaction FAGLL03 (for GL) or FBL1N (for accounts payable) i found that in some cases all postings is less than cleared items or open items for a time period. How could it happen.According to my knowledge all postings should contain cleared items and open items.
    Please correct me..
    Thanks and Regards
    Arjun

    Hi Arjun,
For every Billing Documnet created(VBRK/VBRP-VBELN) there will be an accounting document created in BSID/BSAD tables.
OPEN ITEMS means the Billed/Invoice Amounts that are pending from Customers, i.e which we have to receive from Customers.
CLOSED ITEMS means the AMOUNTS received from that customer.
OPEN ITEMS : fetch data from BSID table Only
CLOSED ITEMS : fetch data from BSAD only.
ALL POSTINGS : fetch data from both BSID and BSAD.
    Hope this will help.

  • The Difference between Extending a Wireless network and WDS?

I have an Extreme (n) and an Express (n).
I want to make sure the signal is strong upstairs and share a printer (connected to the express) and use AirTunes. I also may add an external drive to the Extreme.
What's the difference between Extending a Wireless Network and using WDS? Will there be a speed difference?
Message was edited by: J. Christopher Edwards

I think you don't get it
If I have another draft N router that operates at 2.4G and I have only n devices I can still use WDS and it will connect using draft n in the 2.4G band.
If one g device connects to the network will go in mixed mode.
The AEBS will still report 130 Mbps for your n clients and 54 for your g clients.
If the other router is g only obviously you can't connect between the two router at n mode but still the AEBS will be in mixed mode and not in g. The Extreme will still report 130 Mbps for the connected n clients.
I can tell you that because I have actually implemented it am not taking off the documentation.
The same device if I try to use the "extend n network" does not even see the AEBS but will happily keep the n in the WDS mode and though the bandwidth is halved it is still more than g.
In any case enough for this!
