Either use HTML strings as the values in your JList (quickest, but may not be the most convenient, especially if your model isn't just text), or create your own ListCellRenderer (e.g. extend DefaultListCellRenderer).
There is no such thing as "list.setItemForeground(int index, Color c)". You'll have to use one of the methods above.

Attached is the LV 8.0 version. I also added a control as described by Evan because I hadn't thought of it originally, but it is probably the best option -- it places text on color and doesn't require a loop to update.

Can you do something in the javascript code where you have given specific IDs to each buttons in your menu? It could end up in something like "$('#menu_id').css('background-color', '#1B3E70');"

1- copy the colorpicker.jar in your /forms/java directory
2 - update the archive and archive_jini tags of your /forms/server/formsweb.cfg file:

3 - in your form, add a Bean Area in a block - bean name = 'bean'

I will follow these steps and colorpicker is shown but i want to select the color for form item such as text item , canvas etc.
I want when i select the color from colorpicker that color is assign to that item. such as changing the background color and foreground color of text item.

Once you get the color, you can apply it to the item with the Set_Item_Property() built-in (see the online doc).

How to add different background image for submenu items???

Hi all,
I'm pretty new to web design and CSS in particular. Here's my problem...
I've got a Spry horizontal menu bar (untouched as yet), and I want to have a different background image for my submenu items than that of my menu items. From searching the internet I think that I need to apply a class to the submenu item (please correct me if I am wrong).
How would I go about doing this and how would I assign the class to just the submenu items?
Also ideally I want to have my first and last menu items to have rounded corners on one side (therefore making a rounded edge menu bar), is it possible to have a different background image for individual menu items? If so, how?

Just one little issue left to tackle...
I want my text to be centered in my top menu items BUT aligned left in my drop down menu items. I have managed this but the text hugs the left hand side. I've tried adding a little margin to the left but that doesn't seem to affect anything???
Here's my CSS... Any ideas which class I should be targeting or why adding the margin isn't working would save my tearing the rest of my hair out! thanks! (screenshot attached).

Can I get different background colors on menu items?

I've been trying to get different background colors on my menu (Quick launch) items for a while, without success. What I want is the even numbered items (the second, fourth, sixth...) to have a different background color than the uneven ones (first, third,
fifth...).
Anyone knows if this can be done?

UITableView: set different background colors for header and the table

I would like to set my background color for my UITableView to white and set my tableViewHeader backgroundColor to grayColor similar to the facebook app. When I bounce scroll my table so that you can see above the header, then currently it is white above the header view. I want that to be brown instead.
In the facebook app, above the headerview, it is a blue color and below the table is a white color. If i try and set the UITableView backgroundColor to brown, then the top will be brown, but so will the bottom. Additionally, all of the unset cells will have a brown background instead of white.
Any help with this?

Set color for selected item?

i was wondering if it is possible to setBackground and setForeground for JMenu, JMenuItems or any items that are selected? I know it is possible for JList because it has the function setSelectionBackground and setSelectionForeground but are there any functions that do that for these classes?

Different scrap quanitity for alternate item

I have alternate item in my BOM header. That is two alternate raw materials are used for manufacturing the SFG and have different scrap quantity , in this case how to create BOM?

Hi,
For the alternate items you can maintain the scrap % in material master as Assly scrap in MRP-1 view & component scrap in MRP-4 view. Also you can maintain the scrap qty in BOM also, in the BOM item level you can maintain the operation scrap. But BOM will be having the highest priority.

Maybe this isn't the right forum for this but how do you change the background color of ECC to change based on the client you select?

As far as I know the colour settings are user based. On the top of SAP screen you will have a button with options, where you can change colour of the screen. If you want to get the colour of the screen based on the SAP, please speak to basis team and they should able to help you out.

Mailboxes are different colours (colors) for no apparent reason

I've imported my mail (from Outlook 2007 via thunderbird - all went well) into Mail. My question is some of the mail boxes are blue and some are white - any ideas why this would be, there seems to be no logic (ie all mail boxes were imported at the same time in the same way and all have sub mailboxes)

White mailboxes are "folders" - mailboxes that only contain sub-mailboxes but no messages inside them
Blue mailboxes are actual "mailboxes" which can contain both, messages as well as sub-folders/mailboxes in them.
This is just a subtle visual clue that you don't need to look into "white" mailboxes for messages but just keep expanding the folders/mailboxes contained in them.

I use JDev 11.1.1.6. I dont write it in previously post because I think that is a more css then adf problem.
I have 5 selectItem based on simple List<String> {"text1", "text2", "text3", "text4". "text5"}:
