Different departure country per item in a sales order

Hi all,
I have a tricky issue.
We need to set a different departure country on each item of a sales order.
Departure country is one of the key elements used by SAP to find the right tax condition record. Usually you have either to type a country in header tab (in field "tax departure country") or specify a plant set in the departure country at item level.
We use non-stocked materials to represent "services": they are in a plant, but we can't build a plant for each country involved.
The solution we are considering : using a user-exit to specifiy the departure country (stemming for example from the country of the shipping partner) on each item of the order (not forgetting the customer tax classification). We can thus have several departure country on a single order.
What do you think (better ideas ?) ? Which user-exit would be best ? We are thinking of subroutine USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK, but we are not sure this is the best.
Any solution or alternative to all this is welcome.
Thanks a lot in advance !

I added the codes in there too.

  • Departure country determination for 3rd party sales order

    Hello,
We are creating a 3rd party sales order and using dummy plants and dummy shillping point. we do not have plants abroad activated.
While creating the intercompany billing doc the departure country is not picked up correctly since we have dummy plant and shipping point.
We want the departure country to be same as suppliers country. and we do not know the supplier details at the point of sales order creation.
what can we do to get the correct departure country during intercompany billing?
    Regards,
    Shilpa

You can go through OSS  Note 308989 - Consulting note for cross-company transactions, which provides details on cross-company with 3rd party sales process. Make sure that the delivery plant added in the sales order is assigned to the cross company code.

  • Swap between two different item categories in sales orders for sub-contracting

    Dear gurus,
my requirement is to have the ability to swap between two different item categories for sales orders for sub-contracting.
This should be controlled by a combination of the material and a value maintained the Usage field in the Customer Material Info Record (for example by entering a ‘V’).  A combination of Sales Doc Type, Item Cat Group and Usage should result in the creation of a purchase requisition.
In the event that a process order is required instead of a purchase requisition (i.e. the product is to be manufactured in-house instead of sub-contracted) the user must have the ability to change the Item Category within the sales order to produce a process order.
The user would just change the item category within the sales order, and the system would automatically remove the purchase requisition assigned to the SO, and create a process order and assign it to the SO.
Can you suggest any possible solution?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Majlo,
In my system, I checked.  First created sales order with third party line item and then changed item category to normal item category.
Till Purchase order not created, I can change Item category of my sales order line item.
In this case SAP inform by log and once save delete purchase requisition of that line item .
For this you need to assign another item category as an manual item category in SPRO Item category assignment.
After this user can manually change item category to other one manually, if PO do not exist.
Please let me know if your query is different.

  • Different pricing procedures for two different items in a sales order.

    Hi ,
In a sales order I have two items , one is TAN item and other item is TAD (services).. Since the tax structure is different for above mentioned items, user wants to apply two different pricing procecdures for two items in a sales order.
Can any one suggest how to get this functionality.
    Thanks,
    Ashok S

    Dear Ashok,
As Rithivika rightly mentioned that in one sales oder you can't get two pricing procedures.
Because pricing procedure determination will takes place based on these combination
Sales areaDocument pricing procedureCustomer pricing procedure-->Pricing procedure.
So If you want different pricing procedure either one of the combination should be different.
    But you try this
You can maintain service related tax condition types also in the same procedure, but when you maintain condition record you can maintain material wise.
So when you create sales order system will pick the pricing based on the material(standard item or service item).
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

    HI G. Lakshmipathi,
Thnks for the reply.Yes i am comparing (DWERK (at header level) and WERKS (at item level)) these two fields.
Any how we can give only one plant in Customer Master, we are not maintaining Customer/mtrl regard (Not required in our company scenario) and we have extended MMR to different plants.
So as per ur answer u went me to change only WERKS (at item level) while raising sales order for different plants. Is it enough?

  • Production Order and Internal Order for each item of the sales order

    Hi
I am developing Make To Order Report where I have to display the MTO Line Items and non MTO Line Items. For non MTO Line Items I have to display Internal order with Planned and Actual Costs and also Production Order with Planned and Actual Costs. Could anybody tell how to get the Internal order no and production order with Planned and Actual costs for each line item for a sales order.
    Thanks
    Naga

    Hi,
You can get the Production orders, Planned orders, Internal orders generated for Sales order item from AFPO table (use fields KDAUF-Sales order number & KDPOS-Sales order item). Then to identify the order type use order category (AUTYP) from table AUFK.
Once you have the Production/internal order, you can ge the cost from COSS and COSP table. Use the object number from AUFK to get the cost entries from COSS & COSP.
You can use the following sample code as reference.

  • Sample Material in the 3rd Line item of the Sales Order

    Hi,
We have configured the system in the sales order as follows.
    1. Commercial Material
    2. Bonus Material.(ie Free Material)
Now, i want to add the 3rd line item in the sales order as Sample with different Material number. How go about this. kindly let me.
    Regards
    Ravi

    Hi there,
Enter the material in the sales order & change the item catg manually in VA02.
But free goods & sample materials are dealt differently..
Freegoods is entered as TANN item catg along with nornam TAN item in standard order OR.
But sample materials or free of charge items are processed through different order type FD for eg.
Even thought the item catg proposed in FD is TANN,, the whole process will not have pricing as TANN items arenot relevant for pricing.

  • How can we revise the pricing both at header and item level of sales order?

    Dear All,
Now there's one issue of the pricing to me. i want to revise the pricing both at header and item level of sales order. but after i finished the cutomize and tested it, it's more different as i thought. i found that the pricing can revise at the one side only, for example, if i revise the pricing at item level and it's grey and can't be revised at the header. on the other hand, it's the same result what's happened at item.
So, in my opinion, we can't revise the pricing both at header and item, right? if not, please give me more advices and teach me how to solve the problem. thanks a lot.

    Dear Lakshmipathi,
Thanks a lot for your kindly and useful answer for me and I learn more for the pricing technology.
I didn't notice the way that you reminded ago therefore I also saw the button at the condition tab. And your suggestion makes me know more.
And I had tested the way that you said, I met with a question. Below is my opinion for my testing.
I had created one SO and the pricing was $10, then I revised the pricing from 10 to 15 by VK11. It can't be updated automatically at SO and I must update it manually by clicking the "Update" button. This is OK for my testing, but I have another question to disturb you for the use of "Active" button. When I click the button and nothing is responsed, it's quite different what you said. So, please give more detail for the Active button. Thanks a lot.

  • How to make Different Price for same product in one Sale Order

How can i customizing my system?
I need to sale for different price same product A in one sale order. And price condition type cant be manually. i can separate them by position. for ex. in first position: product A is one price and in 2nd product A with discount. i tried to do it by changing a price group for 2nd position to determinate a discount condition but it generates invoice split.
    Someone have any suggestions?

    Hi
you can have it automatically determined after some custo and using userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomp in MV45AFZZ and RV60AFZZ.
The idea is to use ítem category field (PSTYV) as a part of pricing data to determine different prices for same material by changing manually ítem category when creating a sales order
    - you'll need to create a new ítem category copied from the one you´re using and do all assignments
    - add field PSTYV, if not there, to pricing field catalog. This thread has an example on how to and coding required for userexits
    http://scn.sap.com/thread/1693234
    - Adjust your pricing sequence as per new table
    - Maintain specific prices in new table for materials with this new ítem category
Finally, when creating a sales order change, when required, default ítem category by new one to get specific price for material.

  • Country of Origin in a Sales Order

I am trying to figure out how to view the Country of Origin in the Sales Order screen.  In the Query Generator for the table (RDR1), there is a field for the Country of Origin and it can be used in the query, but I can't seem to find the field in the actual sales order.  I have gone through the form settings for the row details.  Am I missing something?  Can this not be viewed in the sales order?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Amanda

    Hello Amanda
Country of Origin is a field which should be defined in the item master data first,
then passed to the market document. However,it is not accessble in the
    standard form right now.
As a workaround, you can try the below procedure should you want to use this field:
    create udt for the countries
create udf on item masterdata -> set udt as linked table
create udf on Marketing Documents Row-level -> set udt as linked
                                                      table as well!
save following query and attach as formatted search to udf
       on Marketing Documents Row-level:
SELECT udf FROM OITM WHERE ItemCode= $[$38.1.0] FOR BROWSE
set to autorefresh on "when existing altered column", Item No.
    in documenttemplate choose as Datafield
       File:  UDT
       Field: Name
       tick "Display Description"

  • Limitation of line items in a sales order

    Dear Guys,
Kindly confirm me whether I can make a single sales order with 500 line items or not ? Again if it no then how many line items can be taken in single sales order.
    Thanks and regards,
    Atul

    dear atul
I think the correct reply would be 999,999 because data type of item number POSNR is NUM 6, which means that it can hold upto value 999,999.
However, at the same time keep the following into consideration:
    1. FI document has a restriction of 999 line items per document. So, depending on the account settings, there will be a lower limit. E.g. if each Sales order line item results in 2 line items in the accounting document, then the max. no. of SO line items is limited to 499.
    2. If FI summarization is active, then the system summarizes the account postings, thus reducing the no. of FI line items. Hence, a SO can accomodate more than 999 line items. However, this means that certain line item level details will not be available to the Finance guys (which they may not like).
    3. As the number of line items in a Sales order increases, the system performance suffers greatly. There are performance fixes available, but in general, it is painful to load a SO with large no. of line times through BDC's. 10 Sales orders with 100 lines each consume less system resources than 1 Sales order with 1000 lines.

  • Default document currency as per document type for sales order

    Dear All,
We are facing problem in Default document currency as per document type for sales order,
Our requirement is not to give currency in customer master & set it as default document currency as per document type,
for example: Document type 'OR' default currency 'INR',
Document type 'ZEU' default currency 'EUR',
Document type 'ZUS' default currency 'USD',
Document type 'ZNP' default currency 'NRP,'
Document type 'ZAF' default currency 'RAND,'
Is it any how possible in standard setting ?,
    Regards,
    Sai

    Hi,
The system proposes the sales document currency from the customer master record of the sold-to party. You can change the currency manually in the document or change in currency in customer master. If you change the currency, the system recalculates prices for the entire document.
to determine different currrency in sales docuement you need to write an user exit and then overwrite the docuement currency copied from customer master. Try user exit 'USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK' under include MV45AFZZ for this change.
    with regards
    vivek.

When ever they want to give some free goods to customer , they are changing Item category in  Standard Sales order at item level  then deliverying free goods to  customer
    looking for your inputs
    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
    There are two possible ways:
    1. In Item Caterogy Determination remove the Manual Item Categories so that system will determine the Item Category only from defined options.
    2. Use T-SHDO - create Screen Variant & make the item Category Feild as Display only.
    Hope this helps..

  • Creating Query to show items from open sales orders with a/p invoice

    Hi experts,
I am trying to create a query that will show what items/quantities are still in open sales orders that can now be filled by an incoming shipment of goods, processed through the a/p invoice.
This needs to be done using subqueries, which I have no experience with.  I am trying to do this using the ORDR and RDR1 tables to show the open items from the sales orders and the OPOR and POR1 tables to show items just received in to inventory.  I would like the query to show exactly the open item's, their quantities, the posting date from the sales order and the customer name that can now be filled from the new shipment through the a/p invoice.
    I appreciate the assistance,
    Hayden (on behalf of Todd)

    Hello,
    try this
    SELECT T0.[DocDate], T1.[ItemCode], T1.[Dscription],( T1.[Quantity] - T1.[DelivrdQty]) As "Open Qty" FROM ORDR T0  INNER JOIN RDR1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry WHERE T0.[DocDueDate]  <= [%0]And ( T1.[Quantity] - T1.[DelivrdQty]) != 0
Try this query in query manager.
    Thanks
