I can see different data manager packages to load transaction data from Flat file. I want to know the different between them.
1. Import Transaction Data Aggregate Overwrite Mode - /CPMB/IMPORT_APPEND
2. Append - /CPMB/APPEND
3. Import Transaction Data Last Overwrite Mode - /CPMB/IMPORT
4. Import Transaction Data Last Overwrite Mode FTP - /CPMB/IMPORT_USING_FTP

Error when running package to load data from InfoProvider
I encounter the following error when using the standard package to load data from a InfoProvider to BPC. I tried loading the data from both DSO and InfoCube, but I get the same error.
The log message where the error occurs is as follows:
Task name CLEAR CUBE DATA:
Could not perform write (INHERITED ERROR)
The "convert" step of the process chain completed successfully. This error is happening when the "clear cube according data" step of the process chain gets executed.
Any ideas on why this is happening?

You should be able to just open one VISA session then write and read both commands then close the session at the end. This sounds to me like an error that comes from trying to open two VISA sessions to the instrument at the same time. I have attached some very basic LabVIEW VISA code that writes and reads two different commands. Hopefully it will get you started.

Loading data from multiple files to multiple tables
How should I approach on creating SSIS package to load data from multiple files to multiple tables. Also, Files will have data which might overlap so I might have to create stored procedure for it. Ex. 1st day file -data from au.1 - aug 10 and 2nd day
file might have data from aug.5 to aug 15. So I might have to look for max and min date and truncate table with in that date range.thats ok. ForEachLoop would be able to iterate through the files. You can declare a variable inside loop to capture the filenames. Choose fully qualified as the option in loop
Then inside loop
1. Add execute sql task to delete overlapping data from the table. One question here is where will you get date from? Does it come inside filename?
2. Add a data flow task with file source pointing to file .For this add a suitable connection manager (Excel/Flat file etc) and map the connection string property to filename variable using expressions
3. Add a OLEDB Destination to point to table. You can use table or view from variable - fast load option and map to variable to make tablename dynamic and just set corresponding value for the variable to get correct tablename

How compare data from 2 different ODS and then load data to Cube

I have 2 ODS ZINFO_1 and ZINFO_2. These ODS contain data:
ZINFO_1
document number; item number; amount
10004;1;200
10004;3;330
10004;4;650
10005;1;110
ZINFO_2
document number; item number; amount
10004;1;700
10004;4;430
After comparison ODS ZINFO_1 with ZINFO_2, into InfoCube ZICINFO_3 I have get data from ODS ZINFO_1 that document number and item number is not equal to ZINFO_2 ODSs document number and item number.
Data in InfoCube ZICINFO_3 should be:
ZICINFO_3
document number; item number; amount
10004;3;330
10005;1;110
Could you give me suggestions how do this?

Arunas StonysMost of the time you write a routine in the update rule and you want to read a table or ODS to look up for that particular field you are intersted in, if you are doing reading the table or DSO in the update rule, it will execute for each and every record, but you do reading the table in the start routine which will get executed for each data package and in your update rule, you read the internal table to put your logic.
The Start rouline can be as follows

Another situation where I am loading DATA from DSO 1 to DSO 2 and looking for Records from DSO3 and DSO4.
DSO1---->DSO2(looking up data from DSO3 and DSO4 to update to DSO2).
NOw in the start routine I define 2 internal tables for DSO3 and DSO4 having sturctures like DSO3 and DSO4(with only useful fields and key fields,becoz u may not need all the fields from dSO3 and DSO4 afterall)
Now I am loading data in those interanal tables by using SELECT Query in START routine.
Now In various transformatino rule for populating different target fields I am reading those internal tables(itab_dso3 and itab_dso4) putting the read and where condition like
Code for field Z(of DSO2)
Read fieldX fieldY fields Z from itab_dso3 into wa_dso3 with key fieldsX=source_fields-fieldsx fieldY=source_fields-fieldsy.
if sy-subrc eq 0.
result = wa_dso3-fieldz
endif.
(here i am reading the itab loaded in start routine and reading it with the help of two source fields(dso1 fields fieldX and fieldY ) and comparing them with DSO3 .If there is a match then I am udpating fieldz of DSO2 with fieldZ from DSO3.)

I loaded a lot of music from my CDs on to my iMac at home. All my music is stored on the cloud. So why is the music on my MacBook Pro different. The CDs are missing from this list. The iTunes account details I use on both computers is the same.

Thanks for the reply.
I think you ave sorted my problem with your question. I thought that as my iTunes account was on their server (Cloud) and I had previously added CDs which showed up, that all my music was "on the cloud". I used to use Match but when I turned it off lost all my music that I had previously loaded onto my computer.
So I guess I have to use the cloud again to access my songs. This is frustrating as I fly a lot and can not use the music (Cloud based) when the phone is in flight mode as there is no internet.
So how then do I retrieve all my music to my iMac and have my laptop synced so they are the same?
I am totally confused now. -
Loading modules from different domain
when I load modules from the same location where is main application, everything is fine. But when modules are loaded from different adrress i got following error:

Does iPhone Packager CS 5.5 support camera access and LOADING images from the camera roll?
Flash CS 5 only supports SAVING to the camera roll, not loading image from it. And it has no access to the camera to take pictures and access the image within the app.
Does Flash CS 5.5 do these things? There's no point in upgrading if it doesn't support these core feature that I need.Hi.
Just got an app rejected because the popover to select the pics from the camera roll on the iPad always appears on to-left corner, and the arrow doesn't point anywere, and should be pointing to the button which activated it. That "does not comply with the Apple iOS Human Interface Guidelines, as required...". On the iPhone there's no issue because it takes over the whole screen. More from the apple rejection message:
"Specifically, we noticed your app contained popover elements that didn't point to the element that revealed them. To avoid user confusion, a popover element's arrow should point to the element that revealed it."
So, thanks for including the CameraRoll functionality, but it will be useless in the iPad apparently

Error while loading data from R/3 to PSA
Hi,
While loading data from R/3 to PSA i am getting error 'the argument 0.6 j cannot be interpreted as a number when assing application structure.Actually in R/3 0.6 and JPY are 2 different columns.So when loading J is getting concatenated with 0.6,so i think i am getting this error.

If not take the assistance from BASIS...
Note; And also all the notes may not be the exact note tht matches ur issue always...its jst a comparision within our system...If it doesn't solve our issue we have to search for another alternative...

If I load data via PSA it works fine but
if I load data without PSA its giving error as Duplicate records.

when you load the data via the PSA, what did you select? Serial or Paralel?
If you select serial most likely you don't have duplicates within the same datapackage and your load can go through.
Loading directly in the IObj will happen thefore if you have the same key in two different packages, the "duplicate records" will be raised; you can perhaps flag your IPack with the option "ignore duplicate records" as suggested...

Dump while loading data from 1 cube to other cube
Hi,
We created a direct mapping between 2 cubes ( no start/end routines, formula exist in the mapping). Strange part is while I am loading data from one cube to other cube all data packages executing successfully only last data package giving dump with ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY. This is in our QA system. But it is working/loading correctly in DEV.
