Different package download depending on some criteria?

For example, I was considering packaging the madwifi driver when another stable release is made (since it is apparently bad form to do it from CVS). However, it must be compiled for 2.6 and 2.4 kernels differently since it is a kernel module.
Is there a way to pick versions? For example, if `uname -r | grep 2.6` contains data (to avoid custom kernels and stuff not being detected), download the 2.6 version, or else the 2.4 version.
If not, is this why there are no kernel dependent packages?

It is only complicated because you don't want to change anything about the current system.
We must trust that the user has a bit of sense, and can work around the obvious failure cases, like booting into a stock kernel only to download the module. However, giving some degree of autonomy to the process would allow easier upgrades as I have said before.
I only mentioned abs because it provided an easier way to handle custom kernels - you can ensure the stock kernel has whatever options are required (assuming some are needed), but not with a custom one.
If you can't have packages be dependent on the kernel package, you don't want to have a "custom kernel" dependency, and you don't want to change pacman, then the only option I see is two versions, module26 and module24, that the user chooses to sync with.

if current abs(amount)> next abs(amount) then groupid = 'PD'
if current abs(amount)< next abs(amount) then groupid = 'PI'
there is no case when those amounts will be equals
where current(custid) = next(custid) and current(service) = next(service) and groupid is null

You said you were using SQL 2012, but apparently you are not. The LAG function was added in SQL 2012. This solution works on SQL 2005 and SQL 2008:

Making a field read only (and bound) or editable depending on some criteria

Hi,
I am using Netweaver 2004s SP15 and Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1 with Web Dynpro for Java.
I am generating a PDF that contains a number of fields that are bound context values attribues.
Now I know according to certain criteria if any given field will have a value....
Now if such a given field has a value then it must populate the Adobe form and make that field read-only - so it can not be changed.
However, if that field has no value.. instead I need to make it editable.
I am re-implementing the application this will be used within; and the previous version had 8 different interactive forms to cater for the 8 different possible combinations of fields that would not have values.
I would really really prefer to have one interactive form to maintain with logic in it that determines dynamically if a field should be read-only or editable. (For example I could have a boolean context node that could be used)
Am I doomed to have to create 8 different forms? Or is there a way of doing this smarter?

I did a search through the forum using the phrase "javascript" and it turned out a lot posts that indicate that this should indeed be possible.
I am boggled, the original application was developed by an Indian outsourcing company that is well respected. The developer who took over maintenance of it told me that it was impossible to change the read only nature of the fields once set at design-time.
My search through the forum has turned up much to indicate that this design was idiotic and the "facts" I was given completely wrong.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... I am marking this as answered now. I will have to learn some javascript.
Are there any caveats for using it within WDJ?
I am assuming I can do something simple in pseudo-code.. (I will need to work out the Javascript version).

Plot different data set depending of some conditions using labview and veristand

Hi Community,
i have a couple of points saved as XY data points on my desktop. The files are save as csv. the idea is to read the file utilizing the Read From Spreadsheet File vi when some conditions are met and then plot the XY data wiht XY Graph Addon of the veristand workspace.
for instance:
if case 1 is true read the corresponding file and then plot the first set of data
if case 2 is true read the corresponding file and then plot the second set of data
if case n is true read the corresponding file and then plot the n set of data.
Could you give some advices how to implement it (Labview and Veristand)?

I believe the easiest method will be to use the VeriStand .NET API to call into VeriStand and utilize LabVIEW for creating the decision making cases that you have. I have attached some examples of using the VeriStand API in LabVIEW.

Command Line Compilation of a Project with different packages

Hi,
I am trying to compile a project through command line, which has different packages with many classes in it. Now If I try to compile package by package It's complaining about other referenced classes of different packages. So I created .bat file, which includes all the packages, but it's complaining input line is too long.
D:\jdk1.3.1\bin>app.bat
My bat file is
javac -d d:\Application\build d:\Application\source\com\ibc\rules\login\*.java d:\Application\source\com\ibc\rules\lookup\*.java .................d:\Application\source\com\ibc\wid\events\*.java d:\Application\source\com\ibc\wid\frames\cust\*.java ...
and so on............
Is there any solution for this problem?

I think the prefered and more elegant way to compile project including packages should be writing makefiles including their compilation, installation, deploying - rules ..
Make is really powerful, the maybe only weak-point is that there are some distribution of them, gnu-make, microsoft nmake .. which are slightly different, that made porting among platforms difficult.
The jakarta-ant was a new approach to this which uses xml parser to proof the dependencies, etc ..
Because I'm not familiar yet with xml & ant and as a in-blooded unix user, "make" is still my prefered way to do roject.
The easiest way to get unix environment required for using make in Windows platforms is to download the "unxutils". It includes make, bzip2, diff, ... and other unix-tools. Refer to this (found from search by google) :

I downloaded the Microsoft Autoruns package and ran it. There are no programs in the LSA Providers tab, and Apple's Bonjour is the only program in the Winsock Providers tab. I also did the "netsh winsock reset" and rebooted. It didn't fix the problem. Any more ideas?

Create Classes In Different Packages With Error-free Importing

I'd like to create a class which inherits from another class from some other package. So I use "import" keyword to involve the class to build my new class on. However, I hope my new class can be in its own package which is different with one the base class is in. To make it clear, please see the example below:
There are two folders, with name c08 and c09 respectively, in C:\Java which I created for this case. I set the environment variable as C:\Java. There is no problem. Then I saved file "Inter.java" in C:\Java\c08. It's source code is as below:

     void play ();
     void action ();
And another "Test.java" is saved in C:\Java\c09. Source code as below:

It was successfully compiled for "Inter.java". But when comes to "Test.java", it failed with error message of something like "Cannot find the interface Inter". I tried some other ways and I didn't get any results.
I hope to create a class using classes from some other packages while keeping the new one in a different package. How can this be done? (I am currently doing this in J2SE 1.4.01 under Windows XP Home Edition)

I copied and pasted your code as well as made c08 and c09 directories. I had no errors compiling. I am using NT, but it appears that your problem is Classpath related. You can try to CD to the C:\Java directory and compile using "javac c09\Test.java" That's the command I used.

Function Groups of different package in ECC 6

Hi,
I am facing a very peculiar problem with using an Include in two different function groups in different packages.
We are moving from R/3 4.6C to ECC 6.
Now FG1 in PKG1 has an Include1 which uses a <b>parameter defined in a function module</b> in same packge PKG1. Its works fine.
And FG2 in PKG2 also has this include1 defined in main program. now when checking the FG2 it reports an error message in that include at that parameter, which is defined in the interface of function module defined in FG1 .
Now whne I read the documentation of a Pacakge it tell me that some visibility and use access concepts has been introduced. Please check the same and tell me if this error could be because of that.
Also To add here taht when i double click on the parameter in FG2 it takes me to the function module which has the defination however still throws an error.
And when i try to simulate similar thing in my own Z packges even the Doble click forward navigation doesn't work.

Representing different packages of a product

Dear colleagues,
Some time ago I posted a thread about the different ways to represent in the system different packages of the same product and I got some useful hints how it can be set up in the system, especially from "Dogboy49", who I am very grateful to.
My client would however know about real life cases of how companies handle such requirement. Here are the two options again:
1. Having one material number for the product where the different packaging levels are represented as units of measure - this is our current set-up. The problem is when a new box size is introduced it requires copying the whole product to the new number, with all its units of measure, and changing just one of the units.
2. Alternative layout where each packaging level gets own material number and the different numbers of the same product linked by BOM.
The second approach seems to be the dominating one. Therefore I would really like to come in contact with anybody who works with such layout in the material master and place specific questions about how different issues have been solved.

My company has used Strategy 82. Although we are electronic component manufacturers, the concept is similar - the particular product line could be packaged as 'Tape & Reel', 'Tray Pack', "Ammo Pack", "Bulk Pack", and many others. Yet, the business was both unwilling and unable to place FGs product into stock in a time frame that met the requirements of the marketplace. Breaking down existing FGs pack for possible re-pack was very expensive. In this business model, each different packing style was given a different FGs part number, but ATP was performed on the basis of the SemiFinished Goods stock and supply elements.
We eventually abandoned this method, once the manufacturing production line was moved offshore. During the move, the production line was rebuilt and upgraded, the raw material supply chain was improved, and we changed our business model to straight MTO without forecast (build each order from scratch).
If your client is feeling adventurous, SAP SCM also offers "Rules Based Availability (RBA) checking" within their 'Global ATP" module. There is a much richer selection of ATP processes in SCM.

Make sure you are dealing with the correct product for the serial number. If the serial number is for a full creative suite then you need to get the suite, not the individual application, and vice versa.
Unrelated to that, in case it helps, here is a link to another site. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

How to display different Splash Screen depending on the Locale?

I have a splash screen which is working fine.
I want to display different spalsh screen depending on the locale the user has.
Is this possible.
I can display different Title,Description and the text of the short-cut icon on desktop and startup Menu based on the locale by mentioning it in the JNLP and altering my browser settings. I am not able to use the icon and splash screen corresponding to the specified locale. How to do this?

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.
