Differentiating between two opened pdfs in plugin.

hi,
I have a digital signature creation and validation plugin which i wrote for acrobat 9 and above. I need to get the active pdf's file path at some points. To achieve this i have registered for AVDocDidOpen notification and from the AVDoc i get i extract the filePath, which i save for later use.
Problem is that if there are multiple PDfs opened at the same time, then in the plugin callbacks how can i find out which PDF triggered the callback? I cannot rely on AVDoc as its null in some cases. Any suggestions?
Moreover, is there a way to trigger the PDF signature validation process to start manually (i mean from within plugin code)?

Hi,
I found the solution to manually revalidating all the signatures in the pdf.
First, i registered for the idle handler via:
AVAppRegisterIdleProc method.
In my idle handler method, i look at my pending status variable to see if there is a verification process pending. if yes, then i call my Verify all signatures method.
(TIP: to get a PDDoc obj for the current active pdf i use this code:
AVDoc avDoc = AVAppGetActiveDoc();
if (avDoc)
PDDoc pdDoc = AVDocGetPDDoc(avDoc);
if (pdDoc){}
The verify method, enumerates through all the signatures in the pdf using:
DigSigEnumSignatures method, which iterates through signatures one at a time.
To check if a sig is signed or unsigned i used this:
DigSigIsSigSigned(sigField) method.
And then called DigSigVerifySig() method to verify this signature.
DigSigVerifySig() method, in turn starts the signature verification process for the specified signature which results in calling of our verification callbacks which we had registered earlier while registering our plugin.
and thats it. Hope it helps other aswell.
