Dining Guide Example CMP Error

Hi,
I have tried to do the Dining Guide tutorial for Sun One Studio/Appserver numerous times and get the following error executing the test application for the Restaurant EJB (pg 77):
CMP Mapping Error in bean Restaurant:: Warning: All primary key columns in primary table RESTAURANT of bean pcImpl0.moduleComp0.Data.Restaurant must be mapped to key fields.
Map the following primary key columns to key fields: RESTAURANT.RESTAURANTNAME. If you already have fields mapped to these columns, verify that they are key fields.
I am following the tutorial word for word and have done many of the other examples so I don't believe it could be a database problem.
My database Schema recognizes Restauratnname as the primary key and my Restaurant EJB recognizes restaurantname as the Primary Key Class.
Any Ideas?

Tracked this down as a known bug in Sun One EJB Test Application generator. The solution is to set the primary key class in the ejb to another variable and then reset it back to the original primary key.....

)example of errors while loading data and how do u resolve them?

hai ram reddy this is ramprasad reddy....u can get this type of most commen errors....like below
As the frequent failures and errors , there is no fixed reason for the load to be fail , if you want it for the interview perspective I would answer it in this way.
    a) Loads can be failed due to the invalid characters
    b) Can be because of the deadlock in the system
    c) Can be becuase of previuos load failure , if the load is dependant on other loads
    d) Can be because of erreneous records
    e) Can be because of RFC connections.....(sol: raise the ticket to BASIS team to provide the connection)
f)can be coz of missing master data.
g)can be coz of no data found in the source system.
h)Time stamp error........(sol: activate the data source and replicate the data source and load)
i)Short dump error.........(sol: delete the request and load once again)
j)Data locking when loading in parallel.
    k)ODS activation failures.
l)No SID found........(sol: should load masterdata before transaction data)

    Whats going on?

    Mike,
It looks like ni.com is not supplying that particular console object which is causing an issue with the embedded instance of IE9. Every other website I've tried works correctly. I've looked around the ActiveX methods to intercept and ignore this error, but I haven't found anything yet.
For others' reference, here is the link to the example:

  • Dining & Dining2 examples

    Hello,
I have tried the dining examples with:
    Oracle,PointBase and MySQL
I have managed to connect to the databases and get the corresponding schema. Deployment was successful in each try, and I always meet the same errors: transaction errors and persistence errors when the restaurant_test_app is run for the first time.
I have checked everything for several hours and I am unable to make it run. I have followed the tutorial step by step and I know what I am doing. I have used the last thin driver for Oracle 8i.
When I tried mysql I thought it would work, but the same errors appeared.
should I post the error messages?
    could someone help me?
I am under W2K server service pack 3, does SUN App Server run under this version?
    Please help me!
WHY DOESN'T APPS7 TEST THE PERSISTENCE DATABASE WHEN IT IS ASSIGNED? if it does... then why does it fail?

    Hello,
Clean system: W2K Professional, service pack 3, MS explorer 6.1, Oracle 8i, mysql and pointbase.
I have created the simplest CMP bean:
    Name: String
    Rating: int
After not Being able to make it work under Oracle I
    test it with PointBase:
    Pointbase:
    PBPool
    com.pointbase.jdbc.jdbcUniversalDriver
    URL:
    jdbc:pointbase:server://localhost/sample
    USER/PASSWORD:
    PBPUBLIC/PBPUBLIC
I set up the corresponding jdbc and PM pools.
    Under Pointbase:
    create table test_me
    ( name varchar(80) primary key,
    rating int);
    commit;
After mapping the CMP EJB to the table by using the Schema from the database connection without problems and having set up the CMP I deploy it with no problems.
    RUNTIME ERRORS:
    What am I doing wrong?

  • Same 4MEM/9/40000000 , but different aka (hopefully) the complete guide to this error code and changing RAM

    Hello world,
finally, after having been reading here for years I decided to break silence and join the most venerable Apple discussions community!
First of all, I'm no native speaker, so if I at one point don't express myself correctly, I'm sorry. If you don't understand please ask what exactly I meant since it's very important that we know exactly what each one of us is talking about, thank you.
    Important, too:
I know there are a lot of posts with this topic and I sifted through a lot of them but none of them captures exactly what my problem or rather my questions are and unfortunately in a lot of them there is no real feedback from the original poster how it all worked out or not. So, I intend this thread to be that one helpful thread which more or less concentrates the knowledge of the other threads, where people with similar problems can go to in future.
I ask one thing of you: Please DON'T answer with just one phrase à la "U got bad RAM, send it back" or "Contact Apple Customer Support Service whatever thingy" without explaining why this would be the only viable option (because I think it is not, at least at the moment).
All the questions I 'd like answered are green, for you to not lose track. I hope this becomes a good discussion so everyone of us can learn a lot!
    Following problem:
    Initial situation:
My Computer: MacBookPro 8.2, early 2011, 15", 2,2 GHz i7; Mavericks 10.9.5    (yet without this bash fix but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
           - Upgraded RAM from onboard 4 (2 x 2) GB to the "unofficially" possible 16 (2 x 8) GB
    Ordered RAM on Amazon.de with the right Specs: 204 pin DDR3 SO-DIMM (1333 MHz, PC3-10600S, CL9),
Manufacturer: CSX (http://www.csx-memory.com , while it's maybe not the most renown seller, it was described on another website as reliable )
HERE (hope the link doesn't  change):               http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0084SH6WA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8 &psc=1
           - Installed it, booted Mac without problem, what does System Profiler say? I have full 16 GB   1600 MHz   Memory installed
    - Obviously sent me the "wrong" RAM (or can System Profiler be wrong??), funny thing: It works,
--> after a LOT of research checked here http://guides.macrumors.com/Buying_RAM      my i7 is 2720QM, so supports it, lucky me
Btw, if i go to About this Mac > more information > memory,  the Text there even says it can hold 1600 MHz, has this been written there like this all along?!
    - Which RAM do I have installed exactly now? since the sticker on it showed the originally ordered Specs.., moreover how do I determine the CAS latency of my installed RAM?
    Crashes:
Didn't really have any, except..... well,
    - In some instances Firefox (I think 32.02. or sth., the latest Version at this moment) reproduceably keeps crashing, for example right now, can't even start it,  that's why I can't tell you the exact version, maybe I edit that later. Safari so far hasn't crashed.
    - Once I had a System Crash, but it happened when I wanted to reboot after updating the firmware of a hooked on external WD drive to be usable again as time machine backup volume under mavericks (without endangering my data).
The RAM seems to work fine; for example when I was doing a long overdue backup of 77GB on said drive, Activity Monitor showed a RAM Usage of  15,99 GB and nothing crashed. Only the fans were powering at some point but i thought that normal..
    - Actually produced two more Crashes when trying to run Apple Hardware Test (AHT), the one on the second disc that originally came with my Computer (probably made for OS 10.6.x    x= 6 or sth., don't remember which version my MBP was shipped with), which leads to
    Tests:
    Memtest86
    - I put Memtest86 v.5.01 on a USB Stick and bootet from that and let it test "the whole" RAM
(btw Do you know how you can put the bootable USB image of Memtest only to one (of a few) partition of my 32 GB USB Stick? The instructions (command line stuff) only let me put it on the whole Stick which makes it otherwise useless as a volume; ok here I'm not sure if I'm using the correct technical terms....)
    - I let Memtest86 do 3 and a half passes with one pass consisting of 10 different tests, so it took over 8 hours!
--> RESULT:   0   (in words: zero)  ERRORS,
--> That is why I think my RAM is ok, because I think (think NB, don't know) Memtest86 does good testing,or do you know      better?
    AHT
    - After that, out of curiosity, I tried to run AHT from the DVD with said results, then I ran AHT (also called Apple Diagnostics under Mavericks) from the Internet, this worked, but produced the famous 4MEM/9/40000000 Error Code,
first one for example was: 4MEM/9/40000000: 0x8477df98, the last part after the colon is variable, but stays the same in one instance, i.e. if you repeat the AHT directly. If you restart the Computer an rerun the test then it changes, e.g. some other it showed 0x84770a18
    - I did the short and the extended version, it took ca. 2-3  and 16 min respectively till producing the Error Code (only 1 at a time)
    - Did it 4 times or so; once in short/simple version it showed no error, the rest the 4MEM/9 s.
some example of a simple test, results taken out of the System Profiler Window (fehlgeschlagen= failed):
    Apple Diagnostics:
The usual self test on start up is always passed (bestanden), see for example:
What other than bad RAM can 4MEM/9/40000000 mean? I hope there are a few tech and computer savvy people around this place who know what they are talking about and can give me a good answer, or at least help to narrow it down. Actually I also think, the RAM sticks are not loose, but before I screw open my MBP again I would like to explore the other possibilities.
Is it probable that this Error Code has got sth. to do with me installing a) 16 GB of b) 1600 MHz RAM, or maybe with CAS Latency (i don't know the actual CL of this RAM)? and if so, is it only because some Apple Programmer/Developer/Technician wrote some values in a list on the System Level, so it doesn't accept RAM it would normally work with?? If it works fine and is faster, why change it?
    Final Words:
I repeat, apart from the Firefox crashes, my Mac seems to be working fine, at least I don't notice anything, (well, that disk utility and System Profiler (or whatever it's called nowadays) sometimes take time to start up is nothing special i think, is it?)
But now I'm scared that perhaps there could be a future danger for my computer I do not foresee...I hope you can at least exclude that.
So I'd rather spend my time starting a discussion here with people who don't have to abide by some corporate policy (right?) than having the hassle of repeatedly screwing my Mac open and shut  and doing expensive calls with all the companies involved who won't tell me anything more in depth than "we have to send it there, do more tests and you get it back then".
I hope that this thread won't rot in the wastelands of unanswered posts and that maybe all the people who take part in it learn sth. and all the people seeking help in future will find it here.
    Thanks for your patience!
Waiting for your greatly appreciated answers,

Then I modified the weblogic-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml, such that
<!-- the following line actually should be the JNDI name -->
    <!-- data-source-name>examples-dataSource-demoPool</data-source-name
    -->
    <data-source-name>MySQLTxDataSource</data-source-name>
Then I got the above error. If I change the DataSource back to
    examples-dataSource-demoPool. Everything works fine.
I could not find where the problem is. Could anyone give me a clue.
    Thanks

  • Oracle8i JDBC Guide Example Not Working-applet security

I was having problems with a JDK1.1.7 applet that I want to get
working with Netscape 4.07 and my Oracle 8.0.5 installation. I
am using Netscape's Signtool, the Capabilities classes, and I
have packaged the Oracle classes111.zip contents into my Signed
JAR file. I got a copy of the Oracle 8i JDBC Developer's Guide
and Reference which has an example of what I'm trying to do.
However, I get the same error running the example. Can anyone
tell me what I'm doing wrong?
    Please help...

No, it is not, but this is the reason for using Netscape's
Capabilities API. It contains a PrivilegeManager that works with
Java's Applet Security Manager to grant permissions for the
    applet.

  • Data Templates by Example - parameter error

Tim, there is an error in the EMPLOYEES.xml data template in your 11/29/06 blog. The Q1 sqlStatement references p_DeptNo but the parameter section defines it as pDeptNo. Of course, the two names should match.
By the way, where can I find documentation on the properties element used in your data template example? I did not find any of these properties described in the current user guides.
    Thanks and regards, Rob

The current release 5.6.2 does not supports the properties. These are the part of our comming release 5.6.3 and they are well documented in 5.6.3 User Guide.

  • Oracle Code example produces errors

This code example is taken from the XML Developer's guide, but doesn't seem to run without producing errors.
Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi,
There is a missing </EMP> Tag in the updateXML statement which causes the SQL error. Once this is corrected the code example will execute properly.
Here is the corrected code example:
    SET LONG 20000
    DROP TABLE emp_tab
    CREATE TABLE emp_tab
    (emp_col XMLTYPE)
    INSERT INTO emp_tab VALUES(
    XMLType('

    '//EMP[EMPNO=217]',
    XMLTYPE.CREATEXML('<EMP><EMPNO>217</EMPNO><EMPNAME>Jane</EMPNAME></EMP>'))
    FROM emp_tab e;

  • Read AVI Example.vi error #1074395975

I was trying to run the  Read AVI Example.vi with those avi files shipped within Vision package. But no success.
While the CompressorComparison.avi showed "Error -1074395993 occurred at IMAQ AVI Open File I/O error.", all the others stated "Error -1074395975 occurred at IMAQ AVI Read Frame   DirectX has timed out reading or writing the AVI file.  When closing an AVI file, try adding an additional delay.  When reading an AVI file, try reducing CPU and disk load."
Howerver, from windows task manager, my cpu usage never exceeded 20% and I have two in my computer.

    Dear Mr.Vivek,
    That did not help.
    I am using vision 8.6.4.
I use a webcam and capture images to avi.
Then I open the avi and check the number of frames.Up to this point ,everything works fine.
But if I want to extract a frame out of this avi,the following error comes.
"Error -1074395975 occurred at IMAQ AVI Read Frame
DirectX has timed out reading or writing the AVI file.  When closing an AVI file, try adding an additional delay.  When reading an AVI file, try reducing CPU and disk load."
I am stuck with this and can you please help me.I have attached the read avi file.
This error comes even when I use the example file in the library with the avi files provided by labview.

  • SAP E-Commerce 5.0 - Examples and Tutorials Guide  : examples source files

    Hi everyone,
Where can i find examples source files of the "SAP E-Commerce 5.0 - Examples and Tutorials (Dev./Ext.) " Guide ?
    Thanks & Regards

You can get the JAVA files source code from the <drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server1\apps\sap.com\crm~b2b directory, you should be able to find the src.zip file which contains the source code for the Action & Business object files.
You can access the JSP files from the <drive>\usr\sap\CD5\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server1\apps\sap.com\crm~b2b\servlet_jsp\b2b\root
    OR
You can import through NWDI into your NWDS.
Let me know if you need further details.

  • Example Finder Error- unsuccessful in sending a request to the NI Helpserver

    HI
I have got a problem with Example Finder and when I double click on an example I get this error after about 3 or 4 minutes.
An error occurred. The NI Example finder was unsuccessful in sending a request to the NI Helpserver
Wud u plz let me know what is the problem and how can I open the examples.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Check this first: Error when opening NI Example Finder: The NI HelpServer could not be found
The intention there is to check the service and to make sure your firewall isn't blocking the port.
Also, check to see if any other NI services are disabled. If there are, turn them on one by one to see if that fixes the problem. You may have to restart LabVIEW after each attempt.

    kglad,
    The structure is this one:
    home_mc (many layers and timeline)
reel_mc (some layers and just one frame)
    flvReel (FLVPlayback)
I've done exactly what you said. It still havin' same problem!
    My all output is
TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.

    Same here:

TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.
    at index_paraReell_fla::MainTimeline/homeBtn()[index_paraReell_fla.MainTimeline::frame2:173]
My line 91 is: menu.btns.stop(); -> This is working very well, any problem. But don't know if this have any relation.
No idea what I can do!

  • J2EE tutorial (June 17 '04) servlet example compilation error

This is a copy of my previous post on the same topic, but this one has a more self-desriptive subject line. Apologies for duplication.
I am trying the first servlet example in the J2EE tutorial, June 17, 2004, pgs 443 - 448. I have completed all the steps as described. However, the URL results in the following error. I would like to point out that I am using the URL http://localhost:8081/bookstore1/bookstore (instead of port 8080 because the admin console suggests that port 8081 is an available http port):
    Assistance would be appreciated.
    HTTP Status 404 - /bookstore1/bookstore
    type Status report
    message /bookstore1/bookstore
description The requested resource (/bookstore1/bookstore) is not available.
    Sun-Java-System/Application-Server-PE-8.0
I looked at the logviewer and there are 3 severe errors in the log:
