Disable checkbox only if data is present

Ok this is my problem. I create a leave request page, the
employees log in. After they log in it takes them to a calandar. On
the calandar they request the leave by clicking a check mark box
next to the day they are requesting and hit submit. And the record
is updated. To prevent duplicate entrys in our database, if the
employee wants to request additional leave for that month they
login and return to the calandar. The calandar already displays the
days that they have prevously requested. Now this is my problem. It
displays the days they prevously requested as planed, but I want to
block the user from changing any of the exising checkmarks from a
prevous request. Is it possible to Gray these out or hide these
fields with checkmarks. Thanks for you help in advance.

if they have allready requested a day print
disabled='disabled' in the checkbox.
what i would do is write a function like:
function is_day_selected($date){
//check the database
//if the date is requested then return true
//else return false
then in your checkbox
<?php if(is_day_selected($date){echo
"disabled='disabled'"; ?>

  • OBIEE:How to display row/columns where no data is present in pivot results?

I have a request from some team members to provide an OBIEE report of 7 teams and the number of open incidents for each team by week.
I was able to create the pivot listing the teams vertically and the age (by week#: 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks & > 4weeks) horizontally.
The dilemma I have is that of the 7 teams that have incidents tickets only 4 of them have data, thus only those 4 teams that have ticket data show up in my pivot. I would like to be able to reflect ALL 7 teams even if representing a dash or null value across the pivot for those teams that don't have data.
Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how would I do this? I've tried searching the internet and found out how to replace a null value with a dash in columns/rows when a cell is null. But not how to display an entire row (or column) where no data is present.

You are correct; if there are no data at all, those teams won't show in a pivot table. NULLs or dashes only work if a particular column is null. There are two ways to accomplish what you wish. The first example I thought when I wasn't aware of being able to do a LEFT OUTER JOIN in Answers using the Advanced tab. The first method works nicely, though and is simpler to execute.
    Read my solution here:
Re: Section Values showing NULL in Pivot
To do the LEFT OUTER JOIN read this:
    http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dat/obiee/multiple_subject_area
Both will get you what you want...

  • Palm Desktop seems to back up only select data from Treo 650

I recently transferred my Palm Desktop program and backup files from my old XP PC to my new PC running Windows 7 (64bit).  Aside from the frustrations of being unable to HotSync using USB, I was more concerned that that address & calendar files in my user folder were nearly empty.   My calendar contained 14 random events from within the last month and the address book contained three contacts (my Treo contains hundreds).  Each folder should have contained considerably more data.  I went back to the original user folder on my old PC and the saved data was no different.  Although hundreds of events & contacts appear on my Treo and in the Palm Desktop, my user file has less than 1MB of data in those respective folders.
Can I conclude that my monthly HotSyncs have been faulty all of this time?  Or am I looking in the wrong place for my complete data.  Until I find a workaround the Windows 7 problem, I want to make sure all my data is at least present on the hard-drive (even though I can't HotSync).
FYI, this is where I found my skimpy data:   C:/Palm OS Desktop/(username)/address   and   C:/Palm OS Desktop/(username)/datebook     .   The Palm Desktop is Version 6.2.2
    Thank you!
Post relates to: Treo 650 (Sprint)

An update to the above issue:   All of the datebook & address data IS present within the *.aba files within my user folder when opened via Microsoft Access.  However, when I import those files into Palm Desktop, only a small handful of events (28 out 5000+) and addresses (3 out 1000+) appear.

  • No connection to Integration Builder (only generic data visible)(SPROXY)

    Dear All,
I am Establishing connection between BW and XI.
I am getting "No connection to Integration Builder (only generic data visible)" error while opening SPROXY T-Code, also it shows user Menu Disable.
Please suggest me to solve the error.
    thanks,
    RP

    hi RP,
I too had same problem, below are the things taken care and finally fixed.
    1. SLDAPICUST settings pointing to SLD system & port
    2. Create SAPSLDAPI & LCRSAPRFC RFCs pointing to program ID created with SLD and XI system using VA (JCo RFC provider)
    3. Set the require settings with RZ70 pointing to XI system name & HTTP port
4.Create ABAP based HTTP RFC pointing to Target system (XI system ) with HTTP port (smicm-goto-services) and path prefix with "/sap/xi/engine?type=entry" (without quotes). Ensure this RFC is existing at both the ends (source & target).
    5. If incase all ready the Technical System & Business existing at SLD for your business system, you may require to remove them and add them back/manually.
Please let me know if any more info require.
    Thanks

  • Displaying metadata, how to display ONLY the Date

I would like to display the Date below each image in Aperture 3. When I select "Date" in the Browser & Viewer Metadata window, the result is a very long string with the Date, the Time and the Time Zone. meaning that most of the time I see nothing because the string is much too long to be displayed...
How to display ONLY the Date ?
    Thank you.

    om28 wrote:
I will do that but still... if the Date could be ONLY the Date "without time and time zone", I would be able to display more information.. and it will look nicer.
I said at the top of my first response above: +Afaik, there is no way within Aperture to change the date format of the date metadata overlay.+
Send Aperture feedback to Apple via "Aperture→Provide Aperture Feedback"
In the past I used Expression Media and the config for displaying such info was better.
Aperture has a strange interface for it (and for other parameters), it does not behave at all like an Apple software (for the GUI), probably an external development team... but I agree it is more complex than iPhoto.
Aperture is 10x more complex than iPhoto.
If you want to see a rigid, boxed, "engineer"-style image database interface, take a look at Lightroom 3. It's a great program -- but it's a very different concept of information presentation and interaction.
    Thanks again.

  • Validating only new data

    Hi.
Is there possible, after disabling constraints, populating new data into tables and enabling constraints again, to validate only new data and not the old one?
    (DB: 10gR2 and newer...)

    Karthick_Arp wrote:
Your old data are already on constraints. So when you disable and add new data and then enable the constraint the old data will not give you any issue. If at all you have any issue it will be with the new data.May you tell me why you're so sure? I have already read the documentation from boopathi's post and there is nothing mentioned about that.
    From http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28318/data_int.htm#i4773 :
    Constraint States
    * ENABLE ensures that all incoming data conforms to the constraint
    * DISABLE allows incoming data, regardless of whether it conforms to the constraint
    * VALIDATE ensures that existing data conforms to the constraint
    * NOVALIDATE means that some existing data may not conform to the constraint
    In addition:
    * ENABLE VALIDATE is the same as ENABLE. The constraint is checked and is guaranteed to hold for all rows.
    I am now confused.
So you mean that when constraint is disabled the SCN of this operation is remembered and during ENABLE VALIDATE only rows with higher SCN are validated?

  • Disable checkbox for some records in a datasource

    Hi,
I am having a datatable which is binded to a datasource. There is a check box for every record in the list. Check on some records and click the submit button. After that i want the records i have already submitted to be disabled(checkbox disabled) when the page is refreshed. Is there any way to do it. plz help. Thanks in advance

I would have a table field to store the submitted items, so that when you open the page you can compare with that field and use <html:checkbox disabled="true"....> for the submitted records. I think it will work out. Is this only just for that session?

    Ramky48,
Why did you open a new thread when you had gotten quite a few responses and suggestions on the [url http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=998411]thread where you asked the same question - seems the best thing to do would be to continue on the same thread?
However, your question has nothing to do with JDeveloper/ADF. If you'd like to do it the ADF way, it's trivially easy - you can use the [url http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E15523_01/apirefs.1111/e12419/tagdoc/af_exportCollectionActionListener.html]af:exportCollectionActionListener component, which does what you are asking for. If you want to use a straight JSP way, there were several good suggestions in the other thread you opened, or Googling "jsp export to excel" will get you about 4.6 million hits; the first 10 or so look pretty promising.

  • How to only migrate data from SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 11?

According to our requirement, We need to only migrate data from a SQL Server database to an existed
    Oracle database user.
    1) I tried to do it with SQL Developer 3.0.04 Migration Wizard, But find an issue.
    My SQL Server database name is SCDS41P2, and my Oracle database user name is CDS41P2;
When I used SQL Developer to do offline move data by Migration Wizard, I found all oracle user
name in movedata files which gotten by run Migration Wizard
is dbo_SCDS41P2. If the Oracle user name is not the same as my existed Oracle user name,
the data can't be moved to my existed Oracle user when I run oracle_ctl.bat in command line window.
So I had to modify the Oracle user name in all movedata files, but it's difficult to modify them because there are many tables in
databases. So could you please tell me how to get the movedata files which the oracle user name in them is my
    expected Oracle user name?
    2) I also tried to use the 'copy to Oracle' function to copy the SQL Server database tables data
to the existed Oracle database user. When clicked 'copy to Oracle', I selected 'Include Data' and 'Replace' option
But I found some tables can't be copied, the error info is as below:
Table SPSSCMOR_CONTROLTABLE Failed. Message: ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object
Could you please tell me how to deal with this kind of error?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Thanks for you replying. But the 'copy to oracle' function still can't be work well. I will give some info about the table. I also search 'SPSSCMOR_CONTROLTABLE' in the target schema, and only find one object. So why say 'name is already used by an existing object'? Could you please give me some advice? Thanks!

  • Calendar - when I want to edit a monthly recurring event but only for one month I am no longer given the box to update only that date.

Calenndar - when I want to edit a monthly recurring event but only for one month I am no longer given the box to update only that date month.  How do I do this with the new operating system?

    Adding to Alan's answer:
One of the problems that comes with these tricks for variable-rate acquisition is being able to match up sample data with the time that it was sampled.
If you weren't using either of E-series board's counters, there is a nifty solution to this!  You'll be using 1 of the counters to generate the variable-rate sampling clock.  You can then use the 2nd counter to perform a buffered period measurement on the output of the 1st counter.  This gives you a hw-timed measurement of every sampling interval.  You would need to keep track of a cumulative sum of these periods to generate a hw-accurate timestamp value for each sample.
Note:  the very first buffered period measurement is the time from starting the 2nd counter until the first active edge from the 1st.  For your app, you should ignore it.

  • Downloading .xml/.tx data to presentation server while running background.

    Hi experts,
I have a requiremnt to downloading .xml/.txt data to presentation server while running background.
when i run the program in foreground with use of GUI_upload/ Gui_download its working fine but not working in background.
i can't use email/data download to database file and than get it  option as data can be huge.
Can anybody help me out regarding this.
    Thanks
    Anuj jain

    Hi anjui,
it'snt possible to download a file in background using gui_download.
You could try to create a Shell Command (transaction SM69) to transfer data in a shared directory.
You can execute Os Commands using function module SXPG_COMMAND_EXECUTE

  • ERPi Loading only updated data from GL

    Hi
We are sseing the Pros and Cons of using ERPi.
I read a doc erpi_admin_11121501.pdf, in which the appendix D talks about loading data and metadat from any source.
    So my queries are
    1. I will have a source mapping to the EBS suite and load the metadata and data directly from GL to Hyperion application. This is the normal process followed which has drill back and write back facilities.
    2. I would also like to have a flat file as a source for adhoc loadings. Like, if i want to load only particular data which got updated in GL and not the entire data.
    Will this be accomplished?
    Having two source mappings.
Would like to know the Pros and Cons of doing so

Or is there any method to load only updated values using the GL(EBS system) as source.
