Disable multiple range dates in datechooser/datefield

Hello guys.
im wondering if anyone ever came across this problem i know the datechooser/datefield component has the disableRanges method which allows you to bascically send in array with start and end date and disable those days. That works great but what if i want to disable multiple ranges.
has anyone ever come accross this problem.
i have a field like so
<mx:DateField x="101" y="6" id="startDateInput" change="datefield2_changeHandler(event)"/>
and in actions ript i do something like this.
startDateInput.disabledRanges = ([new Date(),{rangeStart: new Date(startDateInput.selectedDate.fullYear,startDateInput.selectedDate.month,startDateInput.selectedDate.date), rangeEnd: new Date(endDateInput.selectedDate.fullYear, endDateInput.selectedDate.month, endDateInput.selectedDate.date)}]);
So i have try adding more rangeStart and more rangeEnd to disable more days but nothing works???
any ideas I could really use some help?

5-10
and
20-25
and leave the rest still light up.
Do you have a small example you can share. I would be forever greatful. I've been knocking my head on this for a few days now. I even consider building a custom calendar.

i have one worksheet , multiple range. With addin , we can specified the range to retrieve or submit.
In smart view for retreive, I have the API retrieverange so I can do the same. But for submitting data, I only have the API "HypSubmitData" and it doesn't take any paramater like a rangebut only the sheet !
So how do you manager to do it ? one worksheet per range ?

11.1.2.5.400 added the capability to perform range submission, however I doubt that the vba is not updated with the function. So you might have to wait for a while, or you can create a code which copied the selected cells to a hidden worksheet and perform submit from that sheet. Keep in mind that when the use make the selection, you'll have to copy the pov too.

Showing more than one month while selecting date via mx:DateField

Hello,
I would like to show previous month, current and next accordingly to current date.
Is it possible to achieve this using DateField?
If no is there any 3rd party control allows such a feature? I found nothing on this.

Jason, what you wrote is not true I am afraid. Property selectableRange of DateField expects object and not an array. In other words it will only work with singular date range.
I am currently working on a tool where I need to limit date selection on DateField. Basically user will select some task on drop down and type of the task (assignment) should restrict possible entries on DateField component. I am no stranger to using property selectableRange but sadly it does not work with multiple ranges:(
I would not like to try and change standard Flex code (DateChooser.as for instance) to achieve that as I don’t want to be bothered with re-doing these bits when upgrading (migrating to newer Flex or whatnot).
kilyas2007, I would suggest doing the following:
1) Merge your date ranges into one (from lowest to highest value)
2) Disable unwanted dates in between using disabledRanges property (this is an array parameter thankfully)
Perhaps someone knows a better way to do it?

3. check whether mail is received or not
tried multiple times and i am getting more billing amount because of data usage

Mail isn't the only app using data. Turning it off there has no effect whatsoever on whether the rest of iOS or other apps you have installed. In fact most apps use data these days, at a minimum for Notifications and often for gameplay and other features.

We have a requirement to have Multiple Ranges for Variables and I have gone through the document below which is applicable to 2004s SP 07.
We are on CE 7.1 SP 3 I was looking for a similar document which can guide me to create Multiple Value ranges in CE.

Hi Pramod,
If I understand correctly, u want to send a range of values to the variable of a query.
This can be done using " ; ". syntax is [value 1];[value 2];[value 3]
If you want to send two dates to a query date variable... take two date fields then pass to the variable date1;date2 (while creating query you took variable of type range)

CS3 hangs on multiple document data merge

I am using data merge to create documents for high school graduation issues for two different high schools for the newspaper I work for.
For each school, I have created a single document data merge to print proofs of the individual students. For the first and largest school,
I've done a successful test run of a multiple document data merge of all the students. I then used the Excel .txt file from high school #1 to create the .txt file for high school #2. We have successfully done the individual data merges for proofs for each of the students in high school #2.
However, when I try to run the multiple document data merge for high school #2, InDesign gives me the spinning wheel of death. Forever.
I cand run or preview a single item, but it hangs up if I try to run them all or a range (even just 1-2).
I am stumped as to why in what are basically the same documents one works and the other does not. Can anyone help?

Brainstorming with a co-worker solved the problem. A graphic I was using was too large for InDesign to handle on the multiple document data merge. So I reducd the file size, and that did the trick.

Is it possible to disable multiple logins?

Is it possible to disable multiple logins by the same user on different computers? I have network hosted user accounts. I need a way to NOT make it possible for user A to go to client Mac A, login and leave himself logged in there then go to client Mac B and login there also. This is creating some unpleasant effects on the server - naturally!
Any easy way to accomplish this? Perhaps through Profile Manager?

Thanks for the reply but I need some elaboration.... "the "Login" preferences for users and groups".... what exactly are we referring to? I don't see such option (or atleast the way it's written), in either Server app or Profile Manager. Are we talking about the same OS X version?

P.S. Despite the fact that I have enabled the option in Profile Manager to logout all users on all computers after 30 minutes of inactivity, I have noticed that the iMac clients don't log out the users after the said time...

SRM7 grouping items in RFx despite of multiple delivery date and locations

Hi Gurus,
I need to know for a proposal of SRM 7 implementation, WITHOUT the newest E-sourcing component, how to solve the following scenario:
We are gonna use the SRM7 classic scenario where PO is created in ERP and Shopping cart is created in SRM.
In Plan-Driven Scenario for Third Party Sales Order, TPO will be created in ERP, Shopping carts, RFx and contract in SRM, PO will be triggered in SRM and created in ERP.
1.       We have 8 main customers (Sold-To Party), 50 Items, 40 Ship-To (locations) 4 delivery dates for each item to each location.
2.       Under Each Sold-To Party, there are several Ship-To party (Locations)
3.       For each location, there could be multiple delivery dates.
4.       In the Third Party Sales order (TPO), each material could be repeated several times because of the multiple delivery dates and multiple locations;
5.       After saving TPO, the system automatically generates Purchase Requisition (PR) in background.
6.       For each delivery date in TPO, the system creates a separate line in PR. These lines will be converted into line items in shopping carts in SRM.
7.        Total # of lines in PR would be:
a.       8 (main customer) X 50 (items) X 40 (locations) X 4 (delivery dates) = 64000 lines in PRs è same number of lines will be created in SRM in Shopping carts (SC)
8.       In sourcing, we have the option to convert these SCu2019s into RFx. This means we will send 64000 lines for the vendors to give their quotes while we actually have only 50 items.
My questions:
1.       In standard SRM, is there a way to create RFx for the total quantities for item? i.e. can the system read all SCu2019s and sum all the qty for each item, regardless, of the locations, customers, delivery dates and create one line item in the RFx. i.e RFx should be send for 50 items only?   If so, which functionality or work-around should I proposed to meet the req.?

According what you say I assume that this specific requirements in SRM7, without E- sourcing , CANNOT be executed in a standard way, it makes sense to me. Can you firmly confirm it?

I mean, If I understand good, must be a development which finally summarize the quantities for each material and create the SC/PR and related RFx.
The PO, created from the RFx, will collect all the delivery date and location from a custom table. The custom table is a pointer between TPO, delivery date, location and RFx. Am I correct?

Is your data model right? If you are adding in one and deleting in another it sounds to me more like a process that an entity, in which case you may revisit your data model and simplify it, add in a session bean with the process method to co-ordinate between the two.
However, if you want to map multiple different tables within a single entity bean it is possible and just part of the mapping. How you actualyl specify it depends on which implementation you are working with.

I have a question, I know to read SINGLE idoc data with all segments, we have FM IDOC_READ_COMPLETELY but my requirement is to Read MULTIPLE idocs data with all segments to my internal table in a single shot without keeping this FM in loop! since it is performance issue, at a time i may want to read 1000 idocs data!
Could anyone please let me know is there any way to get this, keeping mind of performance and any other FM?

I know idoc numbers and i can write a select Query to DB table EDID4 to get all segments data to my internal table. But i am looking for FM to do this. because i have too many number of idocs and each idoc is having many segments(I am thinking in performance point of view!) The FM IDOC_READ_COMPLETELY can accept only ONE IDOC number as import parameters at a time to get segment data. in similar way do we have any other FM? or other way? except select query to EDID4 table?

Multiple page data entry form

Hello,
I need to build a multiple page data entry screen for users
to enter information into the DB table. There are many fields I
need to capture and store in a table. Some of the fields are multi
line text field for the users to enter a few lines of text in a
textbox. But right now, I wasn’t sure which approach I should
take.
1. Use session variables to capture the data as the users are
completing the multiple page data entry then store all the values
at the end when the user finish entering all the data.
2. Create a temporary table in a DB to capture the data until
the user is finished then store the values in the temporary table
back to the real table.
I hope someone can provide me with some suggestions on this.

User fills out first couple of pages only. He may or may not
come back.
User fills out a couple of pages and then uses browser to go
back to page 1, which he changes and resubmits.

How can I do a multiple record data merge, but specify that a specific text frame with variable data only merges on the first record?

I'm doing a multiple record data merge, I have 2 frames both with variable data placed inside.
I would like to specify that one of the text frames only merges once(first record) and the other frame multiple times for each record in the data file.
Is it possible?
I thought that perhaps if I place the text frame that must merge once on the master page, it would work. But you are not allowed to place variable text on the master and on the document page.
I'm going to try it through scripting next, but thought that perhaps there is an easier way that I'm not aware of.

If you were trying to post a screen shot, you would need to return to the forum and post it using the "camera" icon at the top of the post editing windows.
I use a plug-in from Em Software called InData. One of the benefits for what I do is there are no individual frames on a page to deal with post-merge. Individual frames are great for simple merges (address labels, post cards, etc.). But I typically do more other types of merges.
That said, there is a drawback--one needs to come to an understanding of writing expressions that actually parse the incoming data. So in the spice price list example, that looks like:
It's reasonably easy once one does it a few times. And it can be far more complicated. The above is from Em Software's samples that has been tweaked. The best thing I can recommend would be to download the trial and see for yourself. They are good at responding to specific questions if you get stumped.
I imagine this all could be scripted somehow in ID. But I have no idea how and the plug-in just lets me keep working.

OIM 11g r2 disabling multiple account provisioning

I have a question, in oim 10g and 11g, on resource object there was a "allow multiple" checkbox.
So you could configure your resource if you want to prevent it from multiple provisioning.
But in 11gr2 I cannot see that checkbox.
How can i configure my resource as it is going to disable multiple account provisioning?
