Disable Select-Options Tabstrips

Hi,
Does anyone know how to disable select-options dialog box's tabstrips? Standard multiple selection dialog box comes with 4 tabstrips (single values, ranges values, excluded single values, and excluded ranges value). I would like to disable one of these tab, does anyone work with this before.

Create a disabled Select Option in javascript

By now, I want to create a SELECT object with disabled options by using javascript.
I tried "selectObj.options[1].disabled = true", it can work in Netscape, but not in IE.
Does anyone can help?

Need to disable one of the select-options in dynamic selection screen

Hi,
we have copied the Standard program: RFDOPR00 into Z, my requirement is to disable one of the select-options in dynamic selection screen for ex: Reason code(User shouldnot able to enter anything in it).
Can anyone please tell me the procedure to do it... I had tried using at selection-screen but it doesnt work as it in 'LOOP AT SCREEN', i am not able to capture the Parameter name(screen-name).

Hi,
Get inside your selection screen, by executing your program.
Now type /h in the field where you enter transaction code and press enter.
Now again press enter, this will take you debugger starting from your Selection screen.
You might be knowing this, still if you are not aware of this, this might be a valuable tip.
From here , you can trace your Parameter name.

Select-options in tabstrip subscreen

Hello
I am developing a report in which i have the following components,
Report first calls a main screen 100 which will display a Tabstrip.The first tab in the tabstrip has a subscreen 111 to display the selection screen.
Now i need to have select-options in this subscreen 111. I think the only way to have the select-options is by programming a selection-screen with screen number 222 and call this in the subscreen 111.
I am able to see the select-options, But the issue is, the value of the select-options are not getting passed to the program.They seem to be blank.
Did i miss any step or is anything wrong? Your help please.

Hi,
The issue in my case is the selection-screen is not called directly by a main screen in a report program. The selection-screen is present in a tabstrip control subscreen. So the flow is, report calls a main screen -> main screen contains tabstrip control -> first tab of tabstrip has a subscreen which should have select-options. Since select-options cannot be directly put using screen painter options, i need to use another subscreen. So how do i pass the value of this select-option to the main program?

Reusing select option in different tabstrips of same view

Hi Experts,
I have a view. In this i have two tabstrips namely tab1 and tab2.
I have created one select option and i am using it twice inside (two fields- one for date and one for register no.) one view controller of tab1.
Now is it possible to use the same select option twice inside tab2. Note that here i have to create another view controller for tab2.
Can u plz explain in details.

When you create the 2 viewcontainer Ui elements inside the 2tabs repsectively. Use the same instance of the Select options
in both tabs would throw the error that same instance of Selectoptions already exists.
You need to create the 2 select options instances, i mean Component usages to achieve the same.
Is this dynamic. I mean embeding view inside the view container of Window context is dynamic or static.

Disabling the Ranges option in Select options

Hi,
I have a requirement where I have to remove the possibility of entering the ranges for select-options on the selection screen (eg: FROM xyz TO xyz ).. For this I used SELECT OPTIONS NO INTERVALS.
Now the range option doesnt appear on the main selection screen. However, when I click on the Multiple Selection screen button next to this field.. here again I find an option to enter the ranges. Is there a way to disable this option on the Multiple Selection screen.

Disable the Select-options field in the viewcontainer

Hi,
I have two select option fields(Date,Number) in a viewcontainer .
Now i need to disable one of the select-option field(Date) in the view container based on the condition.If I give Enability for the view container then both the select options will get diasbled.Is there any way to disable only Date select-option field in the view container.

I just had one select-option on my scr...but it can be done with two too...
step1:
created three attributes at component level under the attribute tab ( as suggested by Thomas )

Select-Options on a Tabstrip Subscreen on a REAL Dynpro

i ve the following problem:
I have a Report with a normal selection-screen and a call screen 100 after that.
That Dynpro 100 itself is a Tabstrip-Control. And on one of the Tabs i need to place some Select-options fields ( and a pushbutton + an alv, which shows the result of the selection, but thats not a problem).
The Problem i think is, that a Tab itself is a subscreen. not a "real" dynpro. i tried to place a subscreen control on that tab ( subscreen in a subscreen dynpro ) and define a selection screen as subscreen. but it s not being displayed.

Your problem is to show a subscreen selection-screen on another subscreen, right?
It works for me:
1. Copy DEMO_DYNPRO_TABSTRIP_LOCAL report.
2. Add your own subscreen selection-screen:
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 9001 AS SUBSCREEN.
.. SELECT-OPTIONS: p_sel FOR ok_code.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 9001.
3. Call your subscreen 9001 on screen 100
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE STATUS_0100.
CALL SUBSCREEN: SUB1 INCLUDING SY-REPID '9001', "<---
                  SUB2 INCLUDING SY-REPID '0120',
                  SUB3 INCLUDING SY-REPID '0130'.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
MODULE CANCEL AT EXIT-COMMAND.
CALL SUBSCREEN: SUB1,
                  SUB2,
                  SUB3.
MODULE USER_COMMAND.

I mean "On Question screens audio keeps on playing even after we have selected an option or options depending on the question type and clicked Submit. How do we stop the audio on selecting an option?"

I have select option in my selection screen. When i put some value in my select option and double click on it,one small window gets opened for maintaining select option.
I want to disable this window . Can any one help me out on this.

Options screen modifications can be done through the below mentioned path
IMG>Personnel Management>Personnel Administration>Customizing User Interfaces>Change Screen Modifications
Enter Module pool name( To know module name select the targeted screen > menu>go to > system >status
Screen Number (To know module name select the targeted screen > menu>go to > system >status )
after updating module pool & screen number , press enter and you will find all the fields that is available and select radio button hide to hide particular field .

Add Select Options To ViewContainerUIElement in a TabStrip

Hello,
Finally, I have been able to add select options progammatically. But what I would like to do is to split them up using tabstrips. I have searched the forum but have not seen a way to place select options into the ViewContainerUIElement. I have seen where you can embed a view.
I mean I sould be able to take the object and apply the same code for adding the select options.
Can anyone provide me with some assisance?

Hi Sachin,
The only way you could do this is by copying the program PP_PICK_LIST to a Z program & then later in the include INCLUDE PPPLSEL you have to put your Select-option for Purchasing group by copying the include to a Z program.
Also you have to debug & understand the flow of the program & find out the exact place where you can add logic for your select options.

Select-Options in Tabstrip and Subscreen for MIGO

Hi,
I have to enhance MIGO tansaction using screen exit.
I have to create a tab called Serial Number Ranges and inside the tab create a sub screen.
Inside the subscreen i have to create a range (select option for Serial Number.)
I have create a module pool program and created one screen with the tab and subscreen.
In the main program i have create a selection screen as subscreen and declared select options.
then i have called the screen in PBO and PAI..
it doesnt seem to work...
can u suggest a solution different from this?
