Disable unwanted select on hover function

Once again, my Lenovo Thinkpad 430 (running under Windows 7) is persistently selecting whatever the pointer is sitting over. This happens periodically, and it drives me crazy. I've been able to cure this in the past, but today I've been unable to do so. The "Activate a window by hovering over it with a mouse" feature in Windows is NOT selected. Windows is set to require a double-click to open a window. At various times in the past I've disabled the "tapping" feature in the Lenovo touchpad (the touchpad is the only pointer device I use), but today I can't even find those settings to make sure that they are still disabled. What am I forgetting to do?

I resolved this. I installed a software update for the ultranav device, which allowed me to open the ultranav settings and edit the settings again.

i did like to disable row selection in a jtable by mouse.
in fact, the user should not be able to select rows in the table, but programmatily it should work.

You could try removing all the MouseListeners from the table. I don't know what other functionality you would lose.

No data Found when executing select within a function

Hi
I have a select statement based on the USER_ROLE_PRIVS view for a specific granted_role and user, If I execute the statement in SQL/Plus I obtain the required result, however if I put the same select in a function and excute the function signed on as the same user I get ora-00100 no data found. I have granted execute to public on the function. Is there a grant I have missed

Total funcnality of select options in function module

Dear ABAPers
i am using structure and ranges to meet the functionality of select-options in function module3
but unlike reports if i leave it blank rather than selecting all the data it comes blank.
how can i do that
coz my select query uses 8 selection criteria and user may enter one two or three as per his need.
in that case the output comes out to be blank.
how this can be resolved

Using selection options in functions..

Hi,
I have written abap program in which there are 3 selection options.. I want to pass these selection options to a function. so I want to know how to define or refer selection options in functions which is called by some other abap program ?

The select options are basically just tables with a specific structure. One option would be to specify them as TABLES parameters, e.g. check out function module BAPI_MATERIAL_GETLIST and you can see for example a call via function IAC_SHMA_MATERIALS_SELECT (or check dictionary table type SHP_MATNR_RANGE_T in SE11).

We are using SAP ECC6 EHP4 and for Webdynpro ABAP application, after each column a vertical white line is appearing, and I need to hide this..
SAP suggested us to disable COLUMN SELECTION I have tried the below code but still I am not able to get this done..
Can you please suggest the appropriate method to achieve the same.

You have to disable the DDic binding on the column before your override text will show up:

Thanks for responding. I do not know what was going wrong but now it is working fine.
The problem is that I was not able to compile a function with two select statements in it. If I could comment one of the select statements it was getting compiled. But now it is getting compiled with both the selects.
Now since we are at it can you solve another of my problem. I want to see the output of my function. If I write DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE statements in it I am not able to see the output. Is there anyway that I can call my function and it can show the output on the screen.
I am using Benthic Golden 32 editor. Is there any way in it that I can call my function from it ?

How to use select a vi function inside a loop?

I am modifying the notifier basics part 2.vi to send a notifier to each of 64 sub-vi's. How can you use the 'select a vi' function inside a loop for 64 iterations to access the individual filenames??

If all you are trying to do is send notifiers to each of these 64 subVIs, I would suggest not doing it in a loop, but rather just placing the 64 subVIs in your diagram.
The alternative is of course to use the call by reference node and have an array of VI names. This is a little cleaner on the diagram, but 1) doesn't occur in parallel and 2) is a bit tricky. Additionally, you have to be sure that your array of filenames is correct, and that you NEVER move or rename those VIs. Of course, you could always put them in a directory and create an array by reading the directory contents.
Either way, good luck, it doesn't sound like fun.

Tree control: How to disable the selection of a child item

Hello everyone,
Im having trouble with disabling the selection of a child item in a tree control. I dont know if its possible but havent found any answers on this forum regarding this issue.
Example:
Parent tag 1
    child item 1
    child item 2
Parent tag 2
    child item a
    child item b
What i would like to do is being able to select the parent tags but not the child items, because i use the name of the selected item in my program to determine which actions are allowed and those that are not. To avoid this problem i look at the first 4 letters of the name and this way i can determine if it is a parent tag or child item and take appropriate action. Im able to do this because the parent tags have fixed names. But even though nothing happens in software if i select a child item it still lights up, so for the user of the program it looks as if the child items is selected but the program doesnt do anything(because i made it that way). Thats why i want to be able to disable the selection of the child item or at least make the selection colour of the child item transparant so it doesnt look like it is selected.
Can anyone help me with this problem, if there are parts of my question you dont understand, just ask.

Unfortunately this only has two states, Enabled and disabled (thus grayed).
