Disabling button if table is filtered

Question

hi,
i have a command button and a adf table on a jspx page.
i am keeping filtering enabled for table.
my requirement is i have to disable button if table is filtered and as soon as table becomes 'normal' or 'un filtered' i should enable this button.
can anyone suggest a way to implement this use case?

to detect i am using this code:
boolean filterApplied = false;
while (iterator.hasNext()) { 
String key = iterator.next().toString();
String value = filterCriteria.get(key).toString();
if (!value.isEmpty()) {
filterApplied = true;
break;
System.out.println("filterApplied --> " + filterApplied);
is there anyway better way of detecting?
