Disabling messages such as "joined Cluster"

Hi,
I'm writing command-line utilities to work with the caches, is there a way to disable or reduce the messages when connecting to the cluster, such as "joined Cluster with senior member"?
Thanks,
Harry

Harry,
The verboseness of the Coherence logging is controlled by the "logging-config/severity-level" configuration element in operational configuration descriptor and could be overridden either in a custom tangosol-coherence-override.xml descriptor or using the "tangosol.coherence.log.level" environment property. OOTB log level is set to 5; changing it to 3 will significantly reduce the amount of logging.

Gene

  • When do we get "asap mode disabled" message in IAP?

    Q: When do we get "asap mode disabled" message in IAP?
    A:
    When the "Autojoin mode" is disabled on the master and when the new IAPs which are trying to join this cluster unable to join and will try to come up as master by throwing this message  "asap mode disabled".
    Solution: Enable "Auto join" mode or manually add the other IAP MAC address on the master such that those IAPs will come up as slave.
    Console Output:

    Assuming there is a legal issue, I hope this thread does not get deleted.
    Regarding Audacity - it will not display the drop down menu as the driver itself disabled the stereo-mix.  Re-enabing it using this patch will help.
    However, I found the solution on a thread: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=52527&start=60&sid=a136c428c5a38c58b573f3fa01c35d67
    But basically, download the SoundMax driver from lenovo's website and extract it somewhere.  Then open up ADIHDAUD.INF located in SMAXWDM folder in the driver folder.
    Find the line HKR,AD1984\\Disable, OutR, 1, 01 ;; Disable Stereo Mix Capture Node
    Change the "01" to 00 and save it
    Run "setup" and select "uninstall" existing driver - reboot
    Run "setup" and select "install" new driver - ignore the Windows XP auto install setting and ignore the "non certified" driver warning - reboot
    Go to start menu > run > type: "regedit" [enter] (without quotes)
    Click on "edit > search" and look for AD1984.
    For each registry key/folder of AD1984, find the subfolder/key that says MicBP and OutR and change their associated binary values from 01 to 00.  For some people, re-installing the driver in this fashion already produces a 00 while for others, the change must be made manually.
    Reboot
    Windows may give you an error that the SoundMax driver needs to be re-installed - this is NOT true.  You need to only re-install the Windows XP hotfix to re-enable the universal audio architecture.  This hotfix is available on the lenovo website here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-68974
    I do not know if this works for Windows Vista but it should would be happy to see if someone can try.  Otherwise, XP users should be good to go!

  • Node can not join cluster after RAC HA Testing

    Dear forum,
    We are performing RAC failover tests according to document "RAC System Test Plan Outline 11gR2, Version 2.0". In testcase #14 - Interconnect network failure (11.2.0.2 an higher), we have disabled private interconnect network of node node1 (OCR Master).
    Then - as expected - node node2 was evicted. Now, after enabling private interconnect network on node node1, i want to start CRS again on node2. However, node does not join cluster with messages:

    Rebooting node2 did not help. Node1 which was online all the time (although private interconnect interface was unplugged for a few minutes and then plugged back in). I suppose that if we reboot node2, the problem will disappear. But there should be solution, which keeps availability requirements.
    Setup:
    2 Nodes (OEL5U7, UEK)
    2 Storages
    Network bonding via Linux bonding
    GI 11.2.0.3.1
    RDBMS 11.1.0.7.10
    Any ideas?
    Regards,
    Martin

    I have found a solution myself:
    [root@node1 trace]# echo -eth3 > /sys/class/net/bond1/bonding/slaves
    [root@node1 trace]# echo -eth1 > /sys/class/net/bond1/bonding/slaves
    [root@node1 trace]# echo +eth1 > /sys/class/net/bond1/bonding/slaves
    [root@node1 trace]# echo +eth3 > /sys/class/net/bond1/bonding/slaves
    Now node2 is automatically joining the cluster.
    Regards,
    martin

  • Node does not join cluster upon reboot

    Hi Guys,
    I have two servers [Sun Fire X4170] clustered together using Solaris cluster 3.3 for Oracle Database. They are connected to a shared storage which is Dell Equallogic [iSCSI]. Lately, I have ran into a weird kind of a problem where as both nodes come up fine and join the cluster upon reboot; however, when I reboot one of nodes then any of them does not join cluster and shows following errors:
    This is happening on both the nodes [if I reboot only one node at a time]. But if I reboot both the nodes at the same time then they successfully join the cluster and everything runs fine.
    Below is the output from one node which I rebooted and it did not join the cluster and puked out following errors. The other node is running fine will all the services.
    In order to get out of this situation, I have to reboot both the nodes together.

    turn wi-fi off and on again
    did a hard restart of my iPad
    reset network connections back to factory settings
    verified wi-fi is working as my computer accesses internet without issue.
    verified that my software is up to date.
    Does anyone have more suggestions?

    Couple of suggestions.
    First, many companies have a gateway on their networks that block non approved devices.  I work in such a place.  You might check with an IT guy , and see if they have a block in place.
    Second, the message you are getting means that you have not negotiated the security settings.  So either the password is wrong ( case sensitive), or, in some cases, they want a network key as opposed to your normal password.
    Again, if you can find one, talk to an IT guy and see if he has some suggestions.

  • Coherence.jar in EAR - ejbmodule  error while joining cluster senior member

    Hi
    We are trying to package coherence in EAR to connect to JMS queue. The ejb MDB module when a message is received process the data and tries to connect to coherence cluster members - Looking at the following log - right coherence config file/override/pof are picked however while this new member join DistributedService - it fails.
    The senior member has 13001 partition, backup count 1. Both MDB module , coherence cluster use the same cache-config file.
    Can someone help me in this regard.
    Thanks

    IPHONE 5:  can't receive calls and random error messages, such as "could not activate cellular data network" and "no connection - network unavailable, please connect to wifi or cellular network."  This occurs even when signal strength or wifi is operational, and it does not matter whether wifi is on or off.  ATT went through the standard protocol - resetting network, resetting sim card, etc.  No changes.  Other phones working fine in same region with same carrier.  Apple's solution is to restore software, but haven't gone there yet.  Anyone successfully addressed this/these issues?

    I should point out that it worked when the iPhone was set back to factory settings, but when restored with the backup, data/internet no longer works again, and I get the "Could not activate cellular data network" error message yet again.

  • Why am I getting messages such as "The command "Image Size" is not currently available" when trying to run an Action that has always worked in the past and when the particular Commands do work if used by themselves?

    Why am I getting messages such as "The command Image Size is not currently available whenever I try to run an Action that uses the particular command (and which has always worked fine previously) and when the particular command works fine when used on its own?

    I would think that image size would always be available when there is an active document in Photoshop.  The only time I remember seeing messages like that where they should work was during the five month period when Adobe released CS6 with so many bugs which took Adobe five months to fix.  During those five month messages like that that should not have happen were common when action switch between documents.  Adobe would start processing the next Action step before the document switch completed, Any step that required an active document could fail with a mess stating the command is not available.
    Are you by some chance using CS6 version 13.0 CS6 without any updates.  Use Photoshop menu Help>About Photoshop.  If it shows CS6 version 13.0 you need to update CS6. .

  • How to Disable message area

    Hi ,
       I have a message area and i had linked the "Enable" property of the message area to the context attribute , even if i set the Contex attribute to TRUE the message is still disabled , can some one explain me how to disable message area by linking to the context attribute.
    Regards,
    Ravi.

    HI Shriram,
               Let me explain my problem . I have two tabs in my tab strip control and each tab has its own message area , but the problem is when 2nd tab is selected and if i raise some exception is doesnt show in the message area of the 2nd tab as it is taking the first tab message area as default , so i had put the following logic in the modifyview.
       <b>if(selectedTab.equals("Tab1"))
                 IWDMessageArea Tab2MsgArea =(IWDMessageArea) view.getElement("Tab1MessageArea");
                 Tab2MsgArea.setEnabled(false);
                 IWDMessageArea Tab1MsgArea =(IWDMessageArea) view.getElement("Tab1MessageArea");
                 Tab1MsgArea .setEnabled(true);
            else
                IWDMessageArea Tab2MsgArea =(IWDMessageArea) view.getElement("Tab1MessageArea");
                 Tab2MsgArea.setEnabled(true);
                 IWDMessageArea Tab1MsgArea =(IWDMessageArea) view.getElement("Tab1MessageArea");
                 Tab1MsgArea .setEnabled(false);
            }</b>
       This logic is working fine for most of the cases , but When i selcect a TAB, in the event handler of the selection, i am performing some logic and raising exceptions, for these exceptions it is not working fine as my event handler is fired first before the "WDModifyView" . Is there any other way to control the "ENABLE" property of the MessageAreas.

  • Re: join cluster table into transperant table in ABAP Queries

    Hi gurus
    How to join cluster tables into transperant tables in ABAP Queries,
    I want to join KNA1, KNB2, BSEG(cluster table)
    pls explain me
    amk

    Hi
    You can use join for KNA1 and KNB1 which will much faster
    then use for all entries of this itab to get the BSEG to improve the performance
    here you need to do some trial and error method by joining  removing the tables and also for all entries
    regards
