Disabling Screen field

Hi,
I have a program where i have designed the selection screen. This program is used by different programs.
My requirement now is i have to add a new field and disable another field if the new field has any value and viceversa.
I cannot go and directly add a new field and disable the old field on the properties of that screen in se51. Since the same screen is used by different programs.
Now if I copy the selection screen program and use it exclusively for my new report, it will take huge number of changes and there are many programs involved in calling this selection screen program. So then I'll have to copy most of the programs and change their corresponding program names as well and I have to add these new program names wherever the old one is used, which doesn't look like a good idea to me.
i am thinking of making a copy of the report program alone and use a select option over there to add a new field. But the old field has been designed on the se51 window. Can anyone tell me what i have to do in the report program to disable the old one if new one has some value and vice versa.

Hiding Screen fields in a Report selection screen

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to hide/disable screen fields in a report selection screen when the user clicks on some radio buttons .
Here is the scenario,
1) There are 4 radio buttons four radiobuttons in one group on the selection screen:--
Block no:1
PARAMETER: r_not TYPE c RADIOBUTTON GROUP a1 DEFAULT 'X'.
PARAMETER: r_prgs TYPE c RADIOBUTTON GROUP a1.
PARAMETER: r_remv TYPE c RADIOBUTTON GROUP a1.

2) Based on the user clicking/selecting the radio buttons no.2,3 nad 4 i need to hide some fields in the other selection block
in the selection screen.The parameters are as follows:

I have 2 selection screen fields if enter any value in field 1 another field should be disabled with out pressing enter on the selection screen. am able to do disable by pressing enter onc i give the value in field 1.

Hi Ramu,
As far as i know its not possible without pressing enter/Execute or any action on selection screen.
This is because report programming is event driven. So without any event i don't think we can achieve this.
Probably u can search in SDN/Google as well. If u r lucky enough some one has found some thing for you. But at the same time don't forget to update this thread if u find some thing:-)

Disabling I/O Screen Field in Cost center Screen Enhancement

     I am doing screen exit for Cost center master. While using KS03 transaction, I have to disable the newly added I/O screen fields. So, I added the following code in PBO module.

Disable a field at Item level for SC confirmation Screen

Dear All ,
PLEase help me with a step by step instruction on how to disable field at Item level of confirmation screen of SC .
I tried in Webdynpro component : Web Dynpro Component:/SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_CONF_IBD in se80 and below is what I get ;
When I click on Display it asks me for an access key which I dont have ..
When I click on the enhancement option it asked me to create an implemenation which I did as seen in yellow below and still the enabled field is not getting editable so tha I can uncheck and make the field dissapper .
Please can some one really help me in understanding what exactly I am doing wrong ?
Also Please let me know if the SPRO path related in this to be able to do in any which way ... I tried expanding
Configure field control .. and it doesnt expand so dont know which other option to use ..

1. Thanks for your input . I wasnt able to open the SPRO path coz I was using SAP 720 and when I installed 730 I was able to use it .
2. I am still not able to udnerstand how to configure it through Meta data .. What does Final_Entry mean .. I want to disable the field Last del indicator and its flag box and the label as well ..
3. I tried through component configuration and it worked ..as below :
I went to the webdynpro component and started the component configiurator :
Here I made both the field and Label insisible and was able to do this .
Please can some one help ,me know how to configire this through Meta data concept as well .. I wanted to try that method as well for my understanding ..

Disabling the field 'Bill-to party' in sales order screen

Hi friends,
I need to disable following fields in the partner functions tab of sales order ,while creating/changing a sales order,since they will be automatically populated and user should not be able to modify.
1.Bill-to party.
2.Payer.
I have tried with user exit MV45AFZZ,but program control is not coming there regarding PARTNERS tab,for diabling the screen.
Can you give me some hints like,any other EXIT or BADI exists for writing the code for this?

Hi,
Your requirement is to identify the bill to based on ship to. if so do the following.
maintain the partner tab in ship to master record, here you assign the bill to party to whom you have to send the bill.
Now in partner determination procedure maintain the bill to source as ship to. In partner determination procedure you have all the options from where system has to look for the other partner functions.
In this processes system first checks with Sold to, finds out a ship to, now from ship to partner tab it automatically finds out the bill to in to the sales order.

I guess this can be done using Transaction Variant SHD0.
Just try to check the links related to transaction variant.
1.go to SHD0
2.give the transaction as MD61
3.Transacation variant as zmd61
4.now press create button
4.Here you will get to see the initial screen on MD61
5.Press enter
6.You will get to see the field attributes in a screen called 'Confirm Screen entries"
7.There you can make a field as required/invisible/ouputonly.

Disable IT0001 screen fields through PA40

Hi experts,
When I am running an action through PA40, after updating IT0000 it calls IT0001 after that 9001 and so on. For It0001 fields like position, employee subgroup, Org. Key and administrator fields are editable.
I want to disable all other It0001 screen fields except adminstrator fields for that particular action type. Please help me out how to solve this issue. I have tried to insert the code in user exit (PADU02) but i don't find any means to access the screen of IT0001.

      I am sure did you check T588M (Infotype Screen Control), where you can set your own settings for the infotypes (fields, hide, disable, Required)
   However I got confoused with your requirement, you want the screen to be changed only for that action, does that means if he go to 0001 through PA30 user should have access to all the fields?
   -- In that case, you can set the feature P0001 and can use RPCADD00 program. (RPCADD00 might give a chance of accessing 0001 infotype - Not sure)

Selection screen field

Hi,
A field in the selection screen of the report program should be disabled by default.
I have written the logic for the same in at selection-screen output.
If the user enters value in another field in selection screen,the field should be enabled for input.
When the user executes the program,o/p is displayed.
When the user clicks back button in the o/p screen,the field is again shown in disabled mode as the event at selection screen o/p is being triggered.
The field should be enabled when the user cliks back button in the o/p.
How to achieve this? => by writing the code. And we cannot do that for you.

Hi,
If i understood correctly you requirement you just have to make use of a global variable i.e. gv_enabled, which will be used as flag. Before disable the field in at selection-screen output event, check if gv_enabled is initial. When you enable the field for input, for the first time just move 'X' to gv_enabled.

Disable certain fields during the creation of SC using "create limit item"

Hi,
I have a requirement to disable certain fields from the role "SHOP" associated with the operational purchaser role. I would like to disable the fields "Unlimited check box", "Service Agent", " Invoice Only radio button", "Unknown account assignment radio button" from the screen I get during creation of SC using the option "Create Limit Item". Also i need to disable the option "Good / Service" entry box as we are using only free text items and donu2019t want this option to be seen in the screen when using the operational purchaser role.
Please advise how can I achieve this.

I have a same requirement to disable certain fields from the Shopping Cart Limit Item. I would like to disable the fields "Service Agent", "Unknown account assignment radio button" from the Detail screen. during creation of SC using the option Limit Item . Also i need to make default Value "Known" and "Invoice Only". But this is in SRM 7.0. Notes You have mentioned supports only Release 5.5, But I am in Release 7.0. Any idea?
