If your requirement is after selecting the document no from f4 help then the corresponding year should be updated in the document year field then use FM --> DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE
In this function module pass the screen no program & field for which u want to update value

Search help for screen fields in module pool

Hi All,
I have a screen in Module pool which has 3 input fields, each input field is attached to the same search help.
These fields are from ztable . I have created a search help USING these 3 fields. All the 3 fields are marked for IMPORT and EXPORT.
So whenever i click F4 on any of the above 3 fields, It will display search help popup and returns some rows...But the values are transfered back only for 1 fields ..i.e for the first field only .
I want that ...as soon as i select any of the row from Search hit list..all the 3 columns should get populated with corresponding fields from that row.
I require it this way as user wants to select based on * selection.Ex: as then every this related to that should be popped up.
Pls help ASAP

Problem in Screen field position ( Module pool )

Hi Experts,
We changed the screen field position ( GUI ) of SAP standard module pool program. we had taken the access key from SAP and modified the layout.
Our Problem : We had transported these change request to Quality and Pre Production. The changes are transferred correctly in Quality . when coming to Pre Production the changes are not visible on the screen.
Checks Performed : 1. We had analyzed the Transport request - They are imported correctly.
2. We had rechecked the layout that we had changed its good and correct.
Can you experts help me out in identify the exact solution for this problem.

Hi, no idea can be given without having a look..
but just check the screen layout in the pre-production itself..instead checking transport..

Suppose your tablecontrol name is TCTRL.
Declare a work area WA_COLS.
Now in the PBO (in the table control loop) you can write a new module suppose its MODULE SET_SCR.
MODULE SET_SCR.
LOOP AT TCTRL-cols INTO WA_COLS.
WA_COLS-SCREEN-INPUT = 0.
MODIFY TCTRL-cols FROM WA_COLS INDEX SY-TABIX.
ENDLOOP.
ENDMODULE.

There are Two ways to achieve it...
1) How to create a select-options in a module pool screen.
Method 1
a) Create a subscreen area in your screen layout where you want to create the select options.
b) In the top include of your module pool program declare a selection screen as a subscreen e.g.
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 100 AS SUBSCREEN.
select-options s_matnr for mara-matnr.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN.
c) In the PBO and PAI of the main screen where the select options needs to be created do a call subscreen of the above screen (100).
CALL SUBCREEN sub_area INCLUDING <program> <screen>
This call subscreen statement is necessary for transport of values between screen and program.
Note: All validations of the selection screen fields e.g. the s_matnr field created above should be done in selection screen events like AT SELECTION-SCREEN etc and not in PAI. These selection screen validations etc should be done in the top include only.
Method 2
a) Create 2 separate fields in your screen layout - one for the low value and one for the high value. Insert an icon beside the high value which will call the multiple selections popup screen on user command. Use function module COMPLEX_SELECTIONS_DIALOG to achieve this.

You can use the return table rng_kunnr to populate your own internal range table with the values entered by the user. Basically here you are just simulating the work of a select-options parameter by module pool screen elements.

I want to delete the row after the display of table control. I have created push button as delete row. If I click on this push button, the selected row should get deleted.

Selection screen problem in module pool

I am working on module pool programming, I need to put select screen on the screen of the module pool porgramming. I used Input/Output field to do that and activated. But I am getting message invalid field format (screen error) can any one tell me why I am not able to run the seletion screen when I am using input/output field, also please let me know how to solve this problem.

In reports (type 1 programs), a selection screen with number 1000 is created automatically when you use the SELECT-OPTIONS, PARAMETERS and SELECTION-SCREEN statments. This selection screen appears when you SUBMIT the report.
In any type of program (apart from subroutine pools - type S), you can define further selection screens using SELECT-OPTIONS, PARAMETERS and SELECTION-SCREEN. You enclose these statements between the SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN and SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN statements.
You call these screens using the CALL SELECTION-SCREEN statement.
Screen number 1000 is not allowed (reserved for standard selection screen).

I need to keep the RADIO BUTTONS in 1000_screen of my_module_pool prog., like,
I hv 2 fields in this screen, as expected, the first shuld hv DEFAULT selection.
So, I just simply, dragged & dropped 2 radio buttons from left menu of the screen builder & given them the names as
R_SUMMARY
R_DETAIL
Then i executed the transaction, but, these above 2 fields are getting selected, as default??
I know that, if its a REPORT prog. we can define as w/ a GROUP, then the 1st one is hv the default selection.
so,
1 - How to define RADIO BUTTONS in this screen of a module pool prog.
2 - How to use these names in the prog.(PAI - i guess)?

Problem with I/O field in module pool

hi experts,
        I am displaying some text in I/O field in module pool screen. I am giving the attributes of I/O field as "output only" type and no input. Initially the input was not enabled for it, only it should be in display mode. Once i click on 'CHANGE' pushbutton then only the input should be enabled and it should be in change mode.will u tell me how to do it programatically.

when the sy-ucom is 'Change' then use the Loop at screen--Endloop to modify the attributes value.
example..
