Disassemble portfolio, how to?

i have problem with disassembling PDF portfolio.
I have process in cycle, which is assemble few forms with XFA data into a pdf's. At the end of this process, after loop, it makes a portfolio like this :

but in Assembler result i got no documents like in attachement can see.

ate the portfolio, I have to use the <PackageFiles> instead of <PDF> for the result tag.
This is how I'm using the DDX to Create the Portfolio:

Can you let me know how this DDX file should be replaced to include the <packageFiles result tag instead of the <PDF result tag.
And after that, what DDX should I use to extract the files again.   So mainly The portfolio should be created first and then the single files has to be extracted. I've accomplished this using an assembled file with BookMarks but this idea can't be applied to a portfolio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please try the following steps to display the cover sheet and replace it with custom one:
How to change a portfolio’s initial view setting to show the cover sheet (and hide the contents):
Open a PDF portfolio and run the following JS in the console:
this.collection.initialView = 'Hidden';
Save the portfolio, close and re-open.
The cover sheet will now be displayed when opening the portfolio.

Also, most likely if you want the coversheet displayed when opening the portfolio, and do not want the default cover sheet:
Here are the steps to replace the default cover sheet:
Open the Portfolio.
Perform a View > Portfolio > cover sheet to open the cover sheet.
Open the Pages panel for the cover sheet.
Right click on the cover sheet page in the pages panel, select “Replace Pages”.
Replace the cover sheet page with the desired cover from a page in another pdf.
Save the portfolio.

PDF Portfolio - how to keep image quality?

Hello!
So today I decided to make a pdf portfolio using acrobate and I must say it's a pretty neat feature, really simple to use. I had no problem until I dicovered it downgraded the quality of all the jpg images I put in my portfolio (which doesn't happen when I just make a single pdf file from those same jpg-es).I'm guessing that happens for a reason, I mean to make the whole portfolio smaller in size for web publishing purposes, but in this particular case I keep my images in their original size no matter how big it all gets.
So I tried all the different settings and options but nothing helped. I even looked online for a solution, but no one even mentions this problem. I know it's probably some detail that just needs to be adjusted but I just cant find that one (or I'm being blind/stupid as usual).
So dear adobe community you are my last solution, please somebody help me figure this one out!

Cookie Consent breaks JS portfolio - How to Fix?

I deployed the Cookie Consent form and found that it disabled my homepage JS Portfolio that comes with the template.
Is there a JS conflict somewhere? How do I:
a) prevent the conflict so the portfolio works?
b) enable the JS to hide the consent form after the user accepts?
Would much appreciate an experienced view on this!

PDF portfolio - how do i update or replace pdf files in portfolio

I created a pdf portfolio using the map feature where i drag the pdf's onto the image.
But now, after i have all the pdf's in the portfolio, i want to replace/update some of the pdf files.
I can't see an option anywhere to do this?
Is it possible???

In the Find window (Ctrl+F) there's an option to replace the searched text.
This is in Acrobat XI, and there's no Replace All-function.

The instructions given with this software download don't match the real options available to me "File\Create.......
Instructions:
To Install Your PDF Portfolio
To install a custom layout, select File > Create > PDF Portfolio. In the “Create PDF Portfolio” dialog box, click Import Custom Layout. Navigate to the custom layout file on your computer and select Open. Layout files have a .nav extension. The layout appears in the Portfolio Layouts list, where you can select it. Imported layouts are permanently added to the Custom Layouts section of the Portfolio Layouts panel.
There is no File\Create\Create PDF Portfolio"

Hi Siyabonga,
You need not delete the object ACO_SUPER only remove ADMIN rights from that object.
If this still does not work the recommended option is to use the 'My Objects' link for your purpose where there is a functionality called "My Item dashbaord" where only Items that the user has direct authorizations are displayed.
What you can also do is to create the implicit enhancement at the end of the FM /RPM/ITEM_GETLIST. There you can modify the return table ET_ITEMS so that only items with logon user directly assigned are returned.

Combine .pdf's with digital signatures

Hi all
I can't seem to get this right. I have a set of Drawings (blue prints) that are signed as individual pages/.pdfs. I need to combine them into one file (not a portfolio), how can I make this happen?
Also - I do NOT need to keep the integrity of the signatures from the individual sheets. I just need to combine them with or without the seal/signature.

Adding the pages individually seems to work, adding them by highlighting and dragging over pushes the pages out of order. I am dealing with hundreds to thousands of pages. I’ll check to see how to Flatten.

How to create a portfolio in Dreamweaver CC? And ...

Hello everyone,
I have to create an artist's portfolio for a school. How can I do it with the Dynamic Drive CSS Library-Image with sliding description panel using CSS3 transitions. I placed the code in my program for this, but I do not know how to get the images to display properly. Could someone please tell me what to do. I've tried to drag and drop, but it seems like the image was way to big and when I tried adjusting it in the code it ended up in a strange place, not in the box where the image is supposed to be. Also can I utilize this code with Dreamweaver CS6 CC. Also in case it is important I am working on a Mac using OS X Yosemite. Please help as I a novice.

Dreamweaver is not a click and drag application. You need to build a layout with HTML and CSS code. Or start your project with one of the pre-built CSS Layouts in DW. Go to File > New > Blank Page > HTML. Choose a layout from the 3rd panel and hit CREATE button.
Then use the insert button to add an image to your layout. That said, you must resize and optimize images for the web beforehand using your graphics program (Photoshop). Otherwise, your images will be way too big.

How do I create a portfolio with rotating images?

I'm new to web design and I'm creating my first website for my graphic design business. I'm using CS4. I want to have a portfolio page so that one sample of work will be displayed at a time (logos, brochures, etc.), and there will be a left and right arrow (button) to navigate through several design samples. I also want to be able to click on the small image and have it open up larger in a separate window. Can someone explain the best way to do this?

Your associate has given you bad advice. Even if you wanted to do a simple HTML site, exporting a design from Fireworks to import into Dreamweaver is not the best workflow. Fireworks is a graphics application. The functionality to export HTML is intended for prototypes. The HTML you get is fragile and very difficult to maintain. If you export CSS markup, then you will still need to know HTML and CSS in order to continue the development of your design in Dreamweaver. You are far better off using Firworks to produce first a layout/mockup of your design, then the images needed for the site. From there, you should develop the site - from scratch - in Dreamweaver.
That said, neither Fireworks nor Dreamweaver have the ability to produce the functionality you describe with a few clicks of drop down menus. What you describe needs some kind of advanced coding. Fireworks does not have anything like it.
From here, then, I recommend you look into pre-built photo galleries, and see if there isn't one that will work well enough for you. I've used Lightbox 2 (JavaScript) and SimpleViewer (Flash). They both have pros and cons, but both are quite easy to implement (especially SimpleViewer).

How do I insert a file into an existing portfolio?

I use a feature of Outlook 2010 to move an email message into an Adobe Portfolio. It all happens automatically once I tell Outlook to put it there. My issue is that I put one email msg into the wrong portfolio and want to move it to the proper portfolia. I was able to extract it from the improper portfolio but in so doing, it turned the email message into a pdf file. I do not know how to use Acrobat to add that pdf file to the proper portfolio. I tried combining the file with the portfolio but Acrobat extracted all of the emails from the portfolio as pdf files and then combined all files as a massive pdf file instead of adding it to the portfolio.
Can anyone tell me how to do this or what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks Lori. That worked to move the file into the correct portfolio as well as to display it in the layout index. My only quibble is that it does not keep it in date order and I was not able to see how to add the email information ( "To", "From", "Subject" and "Date") to the metadata so it would show up in the index. At least I have it in the correct portfolia now, so thanks for that.

How do I make a Portfolio open in Details view ?

Anytime I create a PDF Portfolio it opens in LAYOUT View in both READER and
Acrobat (it was created in Acrobat Acrobat 9 Pro).
How can I program the Portfolio open in DETAILS View when a user opens the file in Reader ? (or Acrobat for that matter)

When opening the JS Console by pressing Ctrl-K, the PREFERENCES menu opens.
There is an option in this dialog on the left for JavaScript - but this
isn't necessarily a JS Console. Am I in the right place ?

right are JavaScript options, one being Enable Interactive Console - so I
selected that. There is no TRASHCAN icon as you instruct.
I believe where you want me to go is Control-J, is that correct ?
Assuming it is the JavaScript Debugger (Control-J_, I click trashcan, then I
am in INSPECT: Local Variables, VIEW: Console. I enter the text as
instructed:
this.collection.initialView = "Details";
Now what ? Clicking ENTER just gives me a carriage return in the Console
window.

How can I open an attachment from inside a PDF portfolio using flex 4.1?

I am currently developing a portfolio and have a DataGrid which lists my sorted attachments.
I can right click on an attachment to open it but I require it to happen on the double click event.
My code currently looks like this (taken from an old example):

I would like to extend this question as follows:
when using 'host.commands' (as i believe is correct) I get the error that host is 'write-only' and therefore can access none of its methods.

Using this method, the host is overwritten by doing the following:

When I try to do this I recieve the error that the method is not set for override.

If i try to simply use the host e.g.

It tells me that host is write-only. How can this be true?

How to embed index in Acrobat X portfolio

I have a large number of documents combined into packages in Acrobat 8.1. I embedded indices into each package and searching was very fast. When we converted to Acrobat X, they became very sluggish and hard to search -- l ots of messages saying "Acrobat not responding" trying to load the packages and search. I'm trying to get used to using Acrobat X portfolios, but I don't even see the Tools menu to create an embedded index after I create a portfolio. How is this done now?

It's possible but only with a workaround - if you're looking at a Portfolio the "Advanced Search" feature isn't available on any of the toolbars, menus or keyboard shortcuts.
So, you need to open Acrobat, then open the Advanced Search Window, then open your Portfolio. The window will remain open and will change to the rarely-seen version for Portfolios:

According to they tutorial I should be able to move items around in the lower bar in edit mode, but I get a circle with a stike through when I try to grab anything. Any body have any idea??

My question also! You don't seem to be able to drag and drop that I can see. I've found a work around from a book. I'm not great at describing it but you may get the idea.
In the specify file button on the right when you have the portfolio open in edit mode. You want to add a column to display, name it 'order' and choose number to the right, then hit the 'plus' button. Then check only 'order' in the list of how to sort.
Then go to the column in the list view, and click on the space to the right of the document icon and under order, and put a numbers in the order you want the document to be, like 1, 2, etc.
Then you can sort in the order you want.
Anyone else have the answer? I wonder why you can't drag and drop here.
I keep thinking there is an easier way!
