Discount for employees of a business.

Why did my discount go away if I still work with a company that has discounts even though I sent proof that I work as a franchisee with that company? Does this not extend to franchisees? Are we not part of that system doing business?

You didn't answer the question that I asked.
Do you have something that indicates that you are employed by a business which has an agreement with Verizon to provide a service discount for their employees?
If you are not an employee of a company that has an agreement with Verizon to provide discounts to their employees, then you would not be eligible for a discount.
BUT the way that you are able to determine if you are eligible is to apply (either in a Verizon store if they will take the information or on Verizon's website).  When you apply, that's when the determination is made.

    hi, I read that almost all phone companies(att, tmobile, sprint etc) give discounts to organisations/retailers they are associated with. Is this true? and If I come in to bestbuy and purchase a phone + plan would i be eligible to receive that discount on the spot? If yes what info do i need and how is the discount calculated by different organisations?
    P.S are bestbuy employees elibible for discounts offered by these companies?

    All carriers do offer discounts for many companies. The amount depends on which company you work for. BB should be able to determine what the discount would be, and may be able to apply it. This is not a guarantee, though.
    Also, keep in mind that the discount will apply to the plan, not the phone.

    We have installed Business Package for Employee Self-Service 4.6C - 4.7 in our Portal version EP 6.0 SPS09 .We r accessing ESS into portal through ITS .I hav not installed any support packages for this Business Package.Our backend is R/3 system.We are a problem in accessing ESS iviews in Portal like F4 key doesnot work and no F4 help pop up appears.Are there any support packages also available for a Business Package.If yes where to find it and how to install it,can someone tell me wt might be the cause of this Error? and how to resolve it?     I don't uderstand why u use MYSAP ERP ESS support package since u using SAP R3 4.7 as backend.
    I think it's diffrent from SAP R3 4.7 ESS coz it's used webdynpro
    so download the Business Package for Employee Self-Service 4.6C - 4.7 50.4 version

    i am uploading business package for Employee Self serice in EP6sp2. But when i am trying upload tht package, it asks for .epa file. However in the BPESS46C504_0-20000613.zip file, there is .pkg file available.  And ep6 requires .epa file. So wat shud i do now?

    I am looking to Upload MSS(BPMSS601_18-20001489.zip) through the portal(System Administration>transport>Import).
    I see the par,iviews,roles etc., in the folder structure ( \usr\sap\TCF\SYS\global\pcd\Import\upload\Administrator\BPMSS601_18-20001489 ).
    I have 2 Queries related to MSS Business Package.
    Query1: I am unable to find the view the iViews and Pages uploaded int he Portal. Could someone tell me where would these iViews/Pages be available?
    Query 2: How do we use this business package i.e, how to configure this package in portal(as i am trying to use a business package for the first time).

  • So-called discount for being a state employee

    Was anyone, who uses the state employee discount, made aware that the corporation does not honor the discount for "up to two billing cycles"?  I have looked and there is no mention of this caveat in any of the advertisement and it was especially not disclosed by the sales staff at their store front.  I go into contracts with my eyes open and accept it on whether I deem it worth the cost.  This "cost" was not brought to my attention until AFTER I called to inquire about this situation.  Thanks, in advance.

         I am not a state employee, but a employee through a company that has a discount with verizon. I was told upon signing up i would also receive a employee discount. I received my first bill it was not on there, i returned to the verizon store and asked about it. They replied it will take a couple of billing cycles to be applied well a couple have passed and still no-show on the discount. As stated above i was not informed of the delay upon the intial purchase or conversation. So being in good conscience and a person who abides by the truth. it took you 14 days to bill me, why has it taken over 3 months to apply the discount. If you are overworked and have to much to figure in then I guess i can assist. I will subtract the employee discount from the bill each month myself. and see how long it takes for them to notice. probaly a day after I pay i would assume.

    i itend to create a business partner for employee in SAP E RECRUITMENT but when i run the report HRALXSYNC for an employee, the result i am getting is total blank. I suppose there should be some errors if it is not working properly, but the the screen after running the report is total blank.
    are any prior settings must me meet before the business partners can be created using HRALXSYNC?

    Requirements to use the report are the activation of the integration for buisness partner. You could get details from sap note  550055.
    You have to switch on the following keys in table T77S0  with  SM30:
    Group    Sem. ID
    HRALX   HRAC           to  'X' for global HR-Integration
    HRALX   OBPON        to "ON"  for activate the integration between organization object  and business partner 
    HRALX   PBPON         "ON"  for activation the integration between central perosn and business partner

    When I purchased my iPad, I learned that I have employee dicusount with Apple products, Since I purchased iPad from applie site I was able to automatically apply that credit to my purchase.
    I recenlty purchased iPhone5 from ATT store front. (Have not arrived yet.) - How can I clam my employee dicount for this purchase. I think it was $10.00 discount for my iPad.

  • Will Adobe give CC subscribers a discount for Cloud outage?

    For over 36 hours, the Cloud "feature" of Adobe's new business model is still not 100% functional. I've never experienced such a major outage of an internet storage/sharing feature before. So now, my question is: Will us CC subscribers get a discount for this failure of Adobe's Cloud?
    After all, one of their selling points was the ability to share various Adobe files with clients who do not have their software.
    And for you Adobe employees watching from the inside, we customers on the outside do not like paying for beta testing half-baked goods.

    You're absolutly right cbphoto, paying subscribers should not be beta testers. It will be interesting to see if Adobe responds to this thread but more importantly to their paying customers.

    As per my understanding we do have a functionality of transferring employee from one business group to another. Can any one tell me the exact steps for the same. It is there from 11.5.10 and the profile setting we have to set is HR: Propagate Data. Can anyone tell what from here I need to do for a transfer for employee between business group.

    Benefit tab is not available for all BG responsibility, like india is not having the benefit tab.
    Secondly if i want to go for some Long range compensation say an employee has worked for 2 yrs then he is eligible. Now technically speaking the the transfer employee should be eligible for the same. But if we terminate him and then hire him back in the new BG only the thing that is same is Party_ID apart from that is nothing same. Can you please put some suggestions.
    Eg: Person Hired on 10 Jul 2007 in US BG
    Person Transferred to India BG on 20 Jul 2008
    Now the company plans to give a compensation to all the employee who have been part of the company for 2 yrs or plus till 20 Jul 2009
    Now this particular employee will not be pulled out in the eligibility criteria.
    Can any one please pass there comments

    To get cash discount for my payment term, I make configuration as below
    *Step 1: Create a payment term in Maintain of Payment term
                 On immediate payment 5 % cash discount
    *Step 2: -  Define acount for Cash discount taken
                 -  Define acount for Lost Cash discount
    *Step 3: Assign the payment term to my Vendor
    *Step 4: Post a new invoice
    *Step 5: Clear it with payment immediately
    But I still don't receive cash discount
    Please show me the reason and how to check configuration

    Financial accounting ->Account receivables and payables ->vendor account->business transactions->outgoing invoice/credit memos->maintain terms of payment.
    In this  percentage coulumn u can maintain discount rates.

  • R12 Check Printing for Suppliers Created for Employee Payments

    Hi,
    We have some suppliers that are created to to pay employees.
    Problem we are finding is:The address printed on Check (i.e. Payee address) is coming from HRMS, and not from Payables.
    E.g. Say Address set at employee level is London Address, and the address for the supplier site created for the same employee is Washington address, then the address printed on check is London Address.
    We want to print Washington address.
    Our requirement is that we may have multiple sites created for different purposes, for the same employee-supplier; and would like to print the address from Supplier site on the cheque.
    Has anyone faced this problem before?
    Any help / inputs in this regard would be appreciated!
    PS: We are on R12 RUP3.

    Thanks for your reply.
    While creating the Supplier for Employee type, we are not checking either of the checkbox for 'Home' or 'Office'.
    I.e. We are creating a supplier site as 'Business advances' which is neither Home nor Office.
    At Financial Options Level, we tried keeping it as 'Home' or 'Office', but still the effect is same. i.e. it is printing the Employee Address only, and not the address for the supplier site .
    Also, I could not found the flag for Payment address - Home or office (neither at employee - maintain enter, Nor at supplier level).
    I also re-checked that the Address on Supplier Site level is still Washington Address, not the London address.

    I am thinking about purchasing a Skype online number for my UK business.
    At the moment, it says on Skypes website that there is a 50% discount for existing subscribers. I think this does not apply to me because this would be my first online number.
    But I remember that there was some offer a while ago where you were able to receive credit towards your other subscriptions when buying an online number.
    Can anybody please help and tell me what is the best and cheapest way to get the online number or if there are any promotions or discounts currently available , hidden on Skype's website??

    To be able to post cash discounts, you must define an account determination for cash discount taken and cash discount granted.
    For cash discount taken, choose:
    Financial Accounting --> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable --> Business transactions --> Outgoing payments --> Outgoing payments Global Settings --> Define accounts for cash discounts taken
    For cash discount granted, choose:
    Financial Accounting --> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable --> Business transactions --> Incoming payments --> Payments Receipt Global Settings --> Define accounts for cash discounts granted
    You may also want to use payment terms suitable for you business processes to trigger the automatic calculation of cash discount amounts. For this topic, see the SAP library documentation.
    <b>Customizing: Discount Documents</b>
    A few control parameters must be maintained before the automatic cash discount document generation can function. To access the corresponding maintenance view, in Customizing choose Financial Accounting -->  Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable -->  Business Transactions -->  Outgoing Payments -->  Outgoing Payments Global Settings -->  Configure Automatic Generation of Cash Discount Documents.
    The control parameters are defined per company code, original branch, i.e. the branch of the open item to be paid (which may be different from the branch of the payment document) and original document type, i.e. the document type of the open item to be paid.
    You can define:
    Branch for the discount document
    This branch is used when posting the discount document.
    Document type of the discount document
    If no document type is defined the system uses the general document type ‘AB’.
    Posting discount documents with posting date equal to system date
    Normally, the posting date and the document date of the discount document are equal to the posting and document date of the payment document which it is posted together with. If this indicator is set, however, the discount document is posted with the system date as posting and document date.

    Dear Naeem,
    as a CRM environment is not able to run at the same sytsem / client with HR, the employee data (e.g. infotype actions (IT 0000)) only is available in a scenario with ALE-distribution from a HR-system.
    In this case the employee data from HR-system will be distributed via idocs (message type HRMD_ABA) to the CRM-system and saved to databases HRP558x [x=0 - 5; 0= IT0000; 1 = IT0001; 2 = IT0002; 3 = IT0006, subtype 1; 4 = IT0009; 5 = IT0105, subtype 0005, 0010, 0020] for the central person (object type CP).
    The activated business partner integration (table T77S0, group HRALX, switch HRAC) will create / update related business partners (relation is saved within table HRP1001, subtype B207) according to the mapping of data during idoc inbound processing (active CRM implementation of a BAdI HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC processed within the function module (FM) IDOC_INPUT_HRMD (stored in table TBD52 for evcode = HRMD).
    Reading specific infotype data of a central person (databases HRP558x) will be done using the FM RH_READ_INFTY.
