Hi Chris,
You can bypass entering the username and password by using a HTML Post in the calling application to send the URL to the Application Server. An example of a simple form to post the password from a submit button is:
<FORM ACTION="http://disco01:7777/discoverer/plus" METHOD="POST">
Enter password :
<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="password">
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="database" VALUE="TESTDB">
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="username" VALUE="RODWEST">
