Dislay the description in a particular format....

Hello frends,
My client for the quality module wants to display the description in the form of super script and subscript. I mean fr chemical compound like Na2CO3, the 2 should be down of Na or smaller than Na, and 3 should be down of CO or smaller.
I tried using long text.. bt it was not possible.
In the same way can we display for Fe-3 as -3 on the top of Fe.
To display even the degrees also.
Are these things possible. please let me know.

Hello Martin, Thanks for your interest.
I just wanted to enter the details in the particular format, as said above, in the material description field. As the material description length is only 40 chars, so the client wanted the chemical compound description in the field description, so that it doesnt cross 40 chars.

Problem in dispalying the line no in particular format in the table footer

i am facing a problem in dispalying line numbers in a particular format (expalined below) in the table view control(footer of table) of a RSS iView. The format is
X - Y / Z
where:
X refers to the number of the top article/link displayed
Y refers to the number of the lowest article/link displayed
Z refers to the total number of articles supplied by the news-feed.
i am able to dispaly line number in format X/Z, if someone have some idea please reply.

I am looking for an API or any other way through which I can read an SMS from iPhone INBOX. Actually I am trying to develop an application that will read particular tagged SMS's from the iPhone INBOX and display to the user when he runs the application.
Anybody knows ..how to make an applications own internal folder on iPhone? If yes, then how to store a particular SMS to that location and read when my application is opened?

you can't do this with the current SDK - the SMS database is outside the allowed sandbox for your application.

Selecting the Description field for a UDF when using a formatted search

I am trying to pull the Description field from a UDF on CRD1 in a formatted search in marketing documents.
Here is my current query but I do not know the correct syntax to pull the description instead of the code from the UDF.
SELECT T1.[U_ISEName] FROM OCRD T0 INNER JOIN CRD1 T1 ON T0.CardCode = T1.CardCode
Any help would be appreciated.

I tried your suggestion. On CRD1 I created a FS to pull the name from the OSLP tabel. I then used your query on the sales order to pull the stored value on CRD1.
but now I am getting this error message

Main concept of the project is the user should be
able to access his files or dabases from anywhere
in the world thru internet via intranet.
i've placed upload option in my site.
each user should b given a separate directory.
can anyone tell me how to make the user to store
the file in a particular directory(the one alloted to him).
And to view the file, if the user enters the file name
it should open the file in the particular format.
i need the coding since i'm new to jsp.

How to change the bar chart rendering image format in SSRS

I am working with SQL Server 2008 R2 and I have a SSRS bar chart report, when the report got rendered over online or if the take Export (PDF and PPT), the image is in png format always, which is taking too much of time to execute the report in case of large

Can, It be possible that the rendered image is in jpeg format instead of png.

According to your description, you want to change the bar chart rendering image format as JPEG format when previewing the report or exporting to a PDF file .
In Reporting Services, the chart rendering image format is PNG by default. It’s a by-design behavior. And it doesn’t open any API for us to change the image type when exporting a chart to a format. So in your scenario, your requirement can’t be achieved
in Reporting Services currently. I would recommend you submit a feature request to Microsoft at this site:
https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer. So that we can try to modify and expand the product features based on your needs.

How can I update the description of my book that is for sale on the iBookstore?

I have tried to update it through iTunes Producer, in the "Look up Metadata" and the "Open Package" modules. The new epubs that I upload appear to get published immediately, but the description is never updated in the iBookstore. I have emailed Apple three times about this in the past two weeks but haven't gotten any response.

I guess I misunderstood the reason for the decrease of your sellings.
I thought you made an update and THAN you got the problem.
But in fact it seems the problem is due to NOT having success with the update.
however, perhaps I can contribute what I got from a friendly person at itunes support:
"With regard to changes that can be made, once a title has been delivered to the iBookstore, the only changes that can be made through iTunes Connect are updates to pricing, territory rights, Cleared For Sale/Not Cleared For Sale, and DRM settings.
For all other changes (e.g. correcting author name or book title), please make a metadata change request through the Contact Us form in iTunes Connect under the topic "Metadata, File Formats, and Subject Categories."
Actually that is not the whole story, particuly regarding using producer. It seems to me that I did read somewhere that there is a kind of maximum for updates per quarter of year. I mean updates that are NIT regarded as new versions of a book. I somebody could write an ibook about all this matters, easy to understand and complete, with an index, would be great. i would buy first.

Is there a way to have the description field in a calendar list item to support enhanced rich text?

We have a user who has a few hundred calendar items created in outlook. If you open the calendar item, the description includes tables with borders, shading, etc. It seems that the description field in Sharepoint calendars only support basic rich text,
so if I copy the items from the user's calendar to the sharepoint calendar, the formatting is lost. Is there any way to create a custom calendar with enhanced rich text for the description field?

This is a workaround that is working for us. I created a new column "Event Description", selected "Plain Text" and then created a basic workflow that updated Description from Event Description. #160 is no longer showing.
Please be aware that the trick to this is that you must write everything in a string. In other words, don't use the Enter key.
In my case it was worth it as we couldn't rebuild and the user needed a valid and quick fix.

How can I view the size of a particular event in iPhoto '11? The 'Get Info' option is not displaying the size of the event like it used to in iPhoto 8.

But the event does not really have a size - you can export the photos and make the size pretty much what you want - while it is in iPhoto it is an event
I guess that iPhoto could report the size of the original photos as imported - or the size of the modified photos if exported as JPEGs - or the size of the modified photos if exported with a maximum dimension of 1080 - but the event simply is photos and does not have a "size" until you export it
Obviously you want to know the size but the question was
what is your puprose for knowing the size?
WIth that information maybe there is a way to get you what you want
But the basic answer is simply that an event does not have a size - an event is a collection of photos and each photo has either two or three versions in the iPhoto library and each photo can be exported for outside use in several formats and at any size

In material master not all fields show the description of their value

Gurus -
Certain fields in the material master show their description text along.
Example -
Base Unit of Measure - EA      each
The description Text 'Each' which represent 'EA' comes from text Table T006A-MSEHT
Not all fields in material master show the description of what they represent. (only appear on F4 popup)
I want this description to come up for MARA-MAGRV field.
I want the configured value description for this field to appear on the screen.
I have 3 values put in this MARA-MAGRV
Z001 - description text 1
Z002 - description text 2
Z003 - description text 3
in MM01/MM02/MM03 only Z001 is see, not it description.
Here is what i tried
Added TVEGRT-BEZEI (desc field) in Transaction OMSR and assigned selection group 103 which holds MARA-MAGRV field too
any config missing?? what say?

You have to find out the conversion routine for domain MAGRV and enter in the convers. routine field.
if did not find one than you have create custom (take ABAPer help)
go to SE11 adn enter the domain MAGRV and hit display
on the definition tab you will see the conversion routine
here you need to populate the appo. conversion routine to see the text on the materia screen.
Conversion takes place when converting the contents of a screen field
from display format to SAP-internal format and vice versa and when
outputting with the ABAP statement WRITE, depending on the data type of
the field.
If standard conversion is not suitable, it can be overridden by
specifying a conversion routine in the underlying domain.
A conversion routine is identified by its five-place name and is stored
as a group of two function modules. The function modules have a fixed
naming convention. The following function modules are assigned to
conversion routine xxxxx:
o CONVERSION_EXIT_xxxxx_INPUT
o CONVERSION_EXIT_xxxxx_OUTPUT
The INPUT module performs the conversion from display format to internal
format. The OUTPUT module performs the conversion from internal format to
display format.
If a screen field refers to a domain with a conversion routine, this
conversion routine is executed automatically each time an entry is made
in this screen field or when values are displayed with this screen field.
