Display data on ADF table using a VO binded to a message.properties file

Hi,
I want to display data in a JSPX page using ADF table which is based on a ViewObject. The attributes of the ViewObject should get it's value from a abc.properties file(static file).How can i achieve this.

When you create a VO based on static values, all of the records from your VO are generated into the MessageBundel.properties file like this
devguide.entity.ViewObj.SL_0_0=1
devguide.entity.ViewObj.SL_0_1=<val1>
devguide.entity.ViewObj.SL_0_2=<val2>
devguide.entity.ViewObj.SL_1_0=2
devguide.entity.ViewObj.SL_1_1=<val1>
devguide.entity.ViewObj.SL_1_2=<val2>
You could add more lines to the properties files maintaining the same pattern. Also noticed that you can read all the values from a CSV file as well.
The last resource is to programmatically read the file and start creating new rows on the VO, which won't use any of the declarative tools for VOs.

Open Create View Object wizard
Choose, “Rows populated programmatically, not based on a query” which is 3rd radio button option
In Attribute tab, create some ‘Updatable’ Attributes
Choose the AppModule in the final step.
Drag and drop the view object as ADF table.
Next, programmatically insert data in your backing bean.
        ApplicationModule applicationModule = this.getApplicationModuleForDataControl("TmpTableAppModuleDataControl");
        ViewObject vo = applicationModule.findViewObject("ProgViewObj1");
        Row newRow = vo.createRow();

Is there a way to create ADF Table using a bean

I am using JDev 11g 11.1.1.2.0.
I am reading an excel sheet and want to generate an ADF table using the same. I already have hold on excel data.
But when I go through the RichTable API, I find that there is no method to add Columns and Rows. Most or all the methods work on the table UI Looks attribute.
Any suggestion? Am I missing a method OR 2 here?
Pls note: The excel (CSV file) using which I am populating my table, will vary for different user. i.e.
say user 1 will upload a CSV file with 7cols and 100 rows while
user 2 will upload the CSV file that has 2 cols and 100 rows.
Hope this makes it clear of my requirements and why I want to populate the table from a bean.

You really don't enter identical data into 2 tables. You enter dat into one single table, and then you have an unique identifier that maps to another table (you have a unique relationship between two tables).

Think about it this way... What is you update data in 2 tables, and then the data in one of those tables changes, but the data in the other table does NOT change. WHOOPS!! Now, you've got a BIG problem. For instance, you have a customer
named Bill Gates. In one Table you update Bill's address to 1835 73rd Ave NE, Medina, WA 98039 and in the other table you accidentally update Bill's address to 183 73rd Ave NE, Medina, WA 98039. Now you have 2 addresses for Bill. Why would
you want that??? Which is right? No one knows. If you have one address, you just have to update one address and if there is a mistake, you just have to update one address, but you don't have to waste time trying to figure out which is right
and which is wong...and then update the one that is wrong.

Specify the date format as YYYYMMDD in where condition.
Dates are internally stored in SAP as YYYYMMDD only.
Change your date format in WHERE condition as follows.
data itab like equk occurs 0 with header line.
select * from equk into table itab where werks = 'C001'
and bdatu = '99991231'.
I doubt check your data base table EQUK on this date for the existince of data.
Otherwise, just change the conidition on BDATU like below to see all entries prior to this date.
data itab like equk occurs 0 with header line.

and bdatu <= '99991231'.

Xml data upload into tables using loader

I have to load XML file data into multiple tables using sqlloader. i wrote a cotrol file to execute this ,but i was not able to load the data into multiple tables at the same time, first loading table in control file is able to load the data ,rest of the load is giving error,please refer the below control file and log. Displaying images in ADF Table

I have a column in table of type blob. I created entity and view against it. In view type of attribute is blobdomain (by default). Now when i drop that view on form to create table, it places control inputText for blob. I want to ask how i can display images in ADF table column?

Retreiving data from 2 tables using a sender JDBC Channel

Hi all,
We got anew requirement where we have to select data from 2 tables and update fields in 2 tables at the sametime.
I have a few queries regarding this.
Can we retrieve data from 2 tables using select query in sender JDBC channel?
If yes, how we can achieve this?
Can we use inner/outer joins in the select query?
Can we update field of 2 tables using the Update query in Sender JDBC channel?
