Display header for particular table

Hi,
I have two tables and two headers in single report. I want to represent each header to each table. But I am not seeing the dataset option in the header show or hide expression properties. The pages of each table varies dynamically
with the data. So I cannot write expression based on the page number.
Is there any way to assign particular header to a particular table?

In Reporting Services, text boxes are only available as a member of the ReportItems collection in a page header or page footer section on the current page. For example, if ReportItems!textbox_name.Value refers to a text box that only appears on the first
page for a multipage data region, we cannot see a value on other pages except the first page.
So in order to work around this issue, we can add two text boxes to the page header: one for the table1 header value, another for table2 header value. Then use the expressions as below to control the visibility of those textboxes:
=iif(reportitems!Sa.Value is nothing, true,false)
=iif(reportitems!Sales.Value is nothing, true,false)
Note the Sa means a textbox name in the table1. The Sales means a textbox name in the table2.

I also have this problem. My view is using 3 EO, my third tables have multiple rows and I want these rows displayed as columns. So I'm using a pivot table to achieve this. I then only have one column in the "data" section of the pivot and all other data is to its left. I only see the column headers on hovering over the column and tha6t just wont suffice. Is there any way of modifying the width aswell?

You can use javascript to do this dynamically.
For example, i used Adobe Designer 7.1 to add a table to a subform.
Now, i have the object hierchy as:
Level 1 - form1
Level 2 - form2
Level 3 - Table1
           -->HeaderRow
                --> Cell1
                --> Cell2
           -->Row1
                --> Cell1
                --> Cell2
Now, i sleect the Table1 element, and write the javascript which is executed on Initialization, as
if(this.Row1.Cell1.rawValue == "")
this.HeaderRow.presence = "hidden" ;
This will check that if the first row is empty, it will hide the header from the layout.
You can use something similar for your requirement.

In script i am displaying the data in tabular format, by using the
function module write_form_lines. For this i have called multiple
windows for each column. I am able to display the data,however
don't know how to name this column, i.e the header for each column.

Hi Manju,
Create a widow to display the header details(hard code the name of the columns). You have to use main window for displaying the table data.Loop the internal table in driver program, inside the loop call the function write_form for printing the table contents.

How to create index for particular table in R3

Hi
My load is taking too much time and it leads to process over due error. Does creating indexes on table in r3 side will solve this issue? If so how can we find out on which table does this particular data source depend. I went to maintain extract structure and findout only one table is supplying data for this data source.
Is there any other factors depend to solve this.

it will depend on the table.... Having an index created will speed up the loading but slow down the insert therefore slowing some process perhaps...
May I ask which table it is? And which fields would you need to index?
Are you sure that bottleneck is located in R/3? Analyze your loading time in the monitor and see if this is really the case.
Otherwise you can create index for a table in Tx SE11; first check if an index is not already created...

DB Adapter not polling for particular table only

My DB Adapter for one particular table is not working. My WSDL and Scema are defined and deployed in same for every table adapter but dont know only this one has issue. I have created adapter again twice and deployed but it didnt work.
Please help me suggest the fix.

Thanks for your reply. We have deployed all the adapters into the separate folders with same name as table name. These folders are created under folder Business Service and all the configuration files for that particular adapter are deployed there. I mean JCA binding, WSDL,schema XSD. Display authorization for particular line of table

I have a Z table contains sales area data. I want to display those records only which user has authorization for the sales area. It is possible through the table maintenance event or there is any other way to achieve this.

Scenario....displaying header data in tables....

Hi experts,
i have a scenerio in which i m displaying the data with header and after that in the next line i need the data from another table with a diffrent header the data being related to one of the field of the above displayed data.I require this to continue for different data...
Let me explain you with an example.....i display the data from sflight with header...which contains carrid,connid,currency,price etc...and now in the next line i require booking details from sbook for the same carrid to be displayed with a header...i want this sequence to be repeated for each carrid in sflight.
i hope i get some help from you people.....

I do not want to display header of adf table

I have one page with 2 tables - on one af the tables I do not want to display the Header but how do I do that.
I have tried to put it in the css file
af|column::column-header-cell
display:none;}
but then its both tables who lose the header (I cant figure out how to use an id for column-header-cell.
I think that maybee you can write something in the inline stye option on each column but nothing seeams to work.

Displaying Description for SAP Table Field in the View

Hi
We are working on a HANA implementation Project Where we have a requirement to build View on HR tables.
Issue: When i join HR infotypes (tables ) in the view it is getting only Technical names and not descriptions. i have used Semantics option which is available and still it doesn't bring description in to the View.
Please let me know if any one has solution or work around for this.
We have more than 100 fields in the View so maintaining Descriptions manully will take lot of time.

Yes, We have Description available in the sourece tables.
We are connected to HANA Suite and tables in ECC having Descriptions.

Buffer displayed records for ALV Table

Dear Experts,
when showing large tables (whide structures, many records) I'm facing the issue of reloading times, when a user scrolls down the ALV. I guess this relates to rebuffering the records from the AppServer to the GUI. Is there any way on setting up how many records are loaded initially?

what is the actual problem ... you might thing that it is feature not a bug.
The ALV sends only some records to the frontend and reloads others when they are really needed to be displayed.
What would you like to change?
Maybe your problem is only a bad sort! Try to sort in a way that the most interesting records come with the initial load. Or try to select better in way that your result is smaller. These are simple examples, but maybe it can guide you in the direction to a proper solution.
