Display number 1 to 10 in a text item or display item

I want to know how do i display the number of 1 to 10 in a text item or a display item.
What triggers should I use? What are the differences for each smarttriggers?
What are the differences between a text item and a display item?

5. Pass those parameter to Function Module READ_TEXT
If you get ID(May be Custom Y020),Object(VBBP) then You can concatenate VBELN+POSNR (Preceeding with Zreos) for Object then Pass to Function Module READ_TEXT

How to change the text of item's displaying in the folowing ALV.

Hi Experts,
I want to change the text of item's displaying in the folowing ALV.
Go to ME23N->Click 'Messages'->Click 'Further Data' -> Click 'Displ.Originals'.
Here one small ALV grid is appearing.
Currently it is showing same name's under the 'Title' column of that ALV. My requirement is to change the text coming under the column 'Title' in that display.
Can any one throw some light in the issue.

i think you need to use Enhancement point for it.
check the program DV70AF0A-->ARCHIV_ANZEIGE(Subtoutine).
i had similar kind of requirement ,while attaching the supporting documents to FI document , i need to update title field with File name , so i used EP and BADI to do so.

My task is to create a custom webpart that will be for searching this employee details by entering emptitle
For this, i have created a visual webpart using visual studio 2010, my webpart will be like this:

For this, i wrote the code as follows:

It is showing the list item in textbox according to the item entered in the textbox1... But I am stuck to show in the dropdown list.
Suppose, if i enter X in textbox and click on search, then dropdownlist need to show D1,
for Y --> D2 and for Z-> D3... like that.
What code do i need to write in the button_click to show this...

Since you have got the data you want with the help of SharePoint Object Model, then you can focus on how to populate values and set an option selected in the Drop Down List.
With the retrieved data, you can populate them into the Drop Down List firstly, then set a specific option selected.

When I receive text messages, it displays phone number instead of contact name.

I updated to iOS 5 on my iPhone 4 over the weekend. Since updating to iOS 5, all of my text messages show up with a phone number listed instead of the contacts name. I checked my contact info and all the contact information is listed and the numbers under the contact are correct. Has anyone else had this issue and if so have you discovered any resolutions?

Following a tip from another poster, I was able to fix the issue (temporarily).
This worked for me on Verizon.
I dialed *228 on my Verizon phone. I pressed "1" to activate it over the air. I then went into task manager and killed all the running apps.. Waited a few minutes.
The next text I got displayed the number correctly!.. Until I rebooted, that is.
Ps. PLEASE, call Apple and speak with a senior engineer on this. They can't fix it if they don't know it's a problem! (800) MY-IPHONE

Number of items/records display

I want to set the number of items/records display base on query. I tried Set_Block_Property and Set_Item_Property, they don't have any option for me to set it dynamically. Any ideas?

A couple:
a) Set QUERY ALL RECORDS to YES, and programmaticaly set MAXIMUM RECORDS FETCHED.
b) in a POST-QUERY block-level trigger, check the :system.trigger_record. When it reaches the number you want, issue an ABORT_QUERY built-in.

Hi Kiran,
As you stated its correct that the deletion indicator has to be set only after the document is closed. But your case is different, how did that deletion indicator got set for that "Purchase Requisitions".
As per my knowledge is that the deletion flag ca be changed, but not the deletion indicator. In case if I get soem thing I will respond to you.
Also I got this from SAP:
Set the indicator if you wish to archive documents using the one-step procedure.
Do not set the indicator if you wish to carry out your archiving using the two-step procedure.

This feature has been moved in Exchange 2010 OWA. However this feature is available in OWA light version. Here are steps to change the settings in OWA light version.
Log in to OWA, click the Use the light version of Outlook Web App
check box on the login page.
Select Options in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Select Messaging from the left navigation panel.
In the section for "Message Options", change the "Number of items to display per page", select the desired number of messages.

Query LOV and how to display the LOV back in the Text item.

Hi All,
I have got a big time problem in getting back my LOV value after Querying it.
Am using a Tabular Canvas having 10 rows and two columns, one having "Type"(as LOV) and corresponding "Type identifier".
My LOV is an non data block item, having the correct return type. When ever i search for a value in the LOV, its should give out all the "Type Identifier" list and the "Type".
But what i am facing is, am not able to get back the selected LOV after querying it and am getting the entire "Type Identifier' with out any filter.
In short my requirement is,
- I need to search an LOV,
- Display the LOV value in the "TYPE" field.
- Display the corresponding "Type Identifiers'
Pls note: Since am new to Oracle Forms, if in your replies, if you specify to use any code in trigger, pls specify which trigger to use.

The requirement is suppose i have an Lov called OrgName is atatched to a column in which user will select the Ou Name from the list and internally the respective org_id will store into the database where the OU Name is available in the same data block but it is not database item . (Only org_id is database item)
Now if you query the same block i would expect the Ou Name should display .
Right now in my case it is not displaying anything into that column.
Hope u understood this time..Please let me know is there any trick?

Use Read_text function module.
you need to pass
ID
LANGUAGE
NAME
OBJECT to the function moduel
To find the Text id name language and object these are the following steps. Example: FB02
1. goto FB02, Enter Document number
2. from menuselect Goto>Header-->header Text..... New window will be displayed
3. select the Header Text. here you can see all the text.
4. click on the TEXT (which you want to know the Text id) , then press log ICON (you can find in bottom right of the text window) it looks like a rolled paper.
5. in the Next window you will find Text Name. Text ID, Language. etc...

G/L Account Long Text Field in Display

Dear Sir,
I want G/L Account long text field be displayed along with G/L account number in G/L Account line item display report (FBL3N)
I cheched the layout, the option of G/L account number is available but option of G/L account Long text is not available.

You must do some development for it.
You can add additional field to FBL*N reports with using BTE exit.
First of all, if you don't use BTE before, you must create a product on FIBF.
Call FIBF transaction -> Settings -> Products -> ...of a customer
Create a new line,
Product: ZFI
Text: BTE Products for FI Exit
Product active: tick checks from activation.
Then you must call SE11 for structure RFPOS.
You must use append structure function for this structure and you can define ZFI_RFPOS append structure
Define 4 fields.
Component: KUNNR - Component type: KUNNR
Component: NAMED - Component type: NAME1
Component: LIFNR - Component type: LINFR
Component: NAMEK - Component type: NAME1
Then save and active your RFPOS structure.
After that, you must do same step for structure RFPOSX.
Then go to SE37 and copy from SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00001650 to ZFI_INTERFACE_00001650 FM.
After copy action, you must uncomment this line on ZFI_INTERFACE_00001650 FM's source code. It's very important;
E_POSTAB = I_POSTAB.
Then you should add some ABAP code for getting customer & vendor details.
I give you some examples, you can use it. (Next message on this thread, please check)
Then save and active FM.
Call FIBF transaction again.
FIBF -> Settings -> Process Modules -> ...of a customer
Define a new line.
Process: 00001650
Function Module: ZFI_INTERFACE_00001650
Product: ZFI
and this customizing.
Then you go to SE38 transaction.
start report RFPOSXEXTEND. After starting, a pop-up appears, you must click YES.
After those operations, you can see customer/vendor code and their names on FBL3N.

How to display a record count in a text field?

I am trying to return a record count of a query and place that count in a text field on my search page in APEX. I have that text field defined under Items on the search page. How do I get a query record count to display in my text field?

Thank you for your reply and yes I was able to select "Source Type" and "SQL Query". The SQL expression I used was:
SELECT COUNT(ID) FROM master_table;
This worked great to count the total number of records from the master_table. However what I am trying to do is to get a record count each time I complete a search from my search page. I have input fields on this page and a GO button which executes the query. The SQL query is location in one place under Regions/Display Point. My display field on my search page is named P16_COUNT2 and I was trying to make this work inside the main query code. I tryed something like this, COUNT(ID) INTO :P16_COUNT2, to pass the record count each time I execute the GO botton to P16_COUNT2 field. This I could not get to work. Any ideas how to proceed?

When you see the texts in the line item of va03..
Double click on the text..
Then in the menu..Goto -> Header..
There you can find the Text name..
Generally if it is Item text..Then the text name will be
order number + line item

Whenever the user inputs Shift-Enter, Photoshop inserts an [EOT] (End Of Text) control character (\x03 or \u0003) in the string.
Also, in order to split the text according to multiple separators in only one call, it is necessary to use a regular expression instead of a string.
Try replacing:
var theArray = theText.split("\r");
with:
var theArray = theText.split(/[\u0003\r]/);
BTW, you can improve performance by explicitely requesting the textKey property of the current layer object.
Try using:
   ref.putProperty( charIDToTypeID("Prpr"), stringIDToTypeID("textKey") );
   ref.putEnumerated( charIDToTypeID("Lyr "), charIDToTypeID("Ordn"), charIDToTypeID("Trgt") );
instead of:
