Display SWF content within HTML in a transparent winodow

Hi,
I have upgraded to Adobe AIR 1.5.2 and still unable to display a SWF content embedded in HTML container in a transparent window.
Is there any certain wmode setting needed?

Yes, you can't use wmode, "window". The "transparent" or "opaque" wmodes should work fine.

I'm trying to display the contents of an .htm file in an html region. I can get it to display as a link but I can't get it to display as an image. I have a page item that is display as text (do not save state). For the source value I use a PL/SQL function body. I use the following code to display the image,

I get the broken link symbol.
However, if I display it as a link as follows, it works:

I'd advise to ask A team for status of that issue in subsequent releases,

Display subfolder content with ConsumerCollectionRenderer

Hello everyone
Is there a setting that can be modified to have the ConsumerCollectionRenderer display subfolder contents within an iView instead of having to click on the folder name, which refreshes the iView and displays only that subfolder's contents? I have created a collection renderer based off of the ConsumerCollectionRenderer, and it's just what I need because I can modify what properties are displayed and set the rows to alternating colors, etc. However, it would be wonderful if subfolder names were displayed simply as headings with the contents displayed underneath (similar to the LinkListCollectionRenderer), and I can't seem to achieve this within the format of the ConsumerCollectionRenderer. Is this even feasible at all?

Displaying an swf below an html div layer

I'm trying to get an swf to display underneath an html div,
but the browser seems to always put the swf on the top-most layer.
I read a while back when I tried this before that it wasn't
possible as the browser would always load plug-in content top most,
but I notice on thsi site (adobe.com) the menu's are html based and
display over the promo swf element within the home page. Adobe use
some fairly heavy javascript to display all the elements to their
page so trying to work it out from that is a bit hectic - if anyone
can tell me the principles to getting html divs above swfs that
would be much appreciated

HTML/javascript interaction with swf content - can I call swf functions from JS?

I've created an AIR application where the
intialWindow.content is a HTML page / JavaScript application. On
this HTML page I want to include some SWF content as a plugin (a
Flex 3 app), so I have an object tag.
From my SWF I can call out to JavaScript using
flash.external.ExternalInterface fine. I can also call methods
within the AIR and Flex APIs via the window or runtime objects.
However, if I try to call methods within my SWF from
JavaScript, nothing happens. Further, I can pass a function
reference from my SWF to JavaScript (via ExternalInterface), and
while I can see a valid function reference in JavaScript, calling
it doesn't call the function within the SWF.
Is this not supported? Or is this something else, like an
applicationDomain issue? My SWF object is loaded via the app:/ uri,
so I didn't think it would be that.

which by my reading means that none of this should work,
although it clearly does.

HTML content within a Container

Hello.
New to FLEX and wondering if there is anyway to provide HTML
content within a container, sort of like iFrames or HTML frames? Is
there anyway to do this with FLEX?

Will this eventually be available in Flex Builder for use in
web-based SWF applications? This is a huge requirement for us. We
are currently using the 'iFrame' hack to get around this but are
plagued with event handling issues to correctly hide the iFrame
when needed. In large scale products, such we are working on, url
integration with our components of our products is a must
requirement. Any insight here would be great on what we can do in
Flex Builder 2.01 for this.
We also have a requirement that Linux, Windows (and secondary
requirement MAC) systems can use our product.

The thing is that I created a customized chrome, and looks nice when it is transparent cause seems to be floating, it works as a browser, but the problem is that when I navigate with it into a page wich contains embedded youtube videos, as in example, or any other swf file... it just doesn't show...

Unable to display the Content of a data file from within another data file in Oracle webcenter portal.

We have a Content Presenter taskflow. This task flow is added to a jspx page. The taskflow fetches the content from the contributor data file. The contributor data file is having a WYSIWYG editor. The content of the WYSIWYG editor is being displayed correctly through the task flow.
We have some links in the WYSIWYG editor. These links again point to some data files. When we click on these links from within the portal, then we are getting a blank page(the url of this blank page is: http://localhost:7101/eWSIBPortal/faces/oracle/webcenter/sitestructure/render.jspx?datasource=UCM%23dDocName%3AWSIB_ARTICLE) and not displaying the content of the data file that we are pointing to from the WYSIWYG editor.
We want to display the content of these data files(which we have pointed from WYSIWYG editor) in-line within the portal.
Please help us to resolve this issue and let us know if any information is required from our end.

Display a table containing HTML content in mail sent to approver.

I am working on a Travel Management workflow where mail needs to be sent to the manager along with the trip details.
We are displaying data in tables (html format). Now i need to add another such table with details into this already existing workflow but i am facing issues in binding.
Issue: For already existing tables, the binding is like this,
Export to task,
&TRIP& --> &T_SUMMARY##&
Import to w/f,
&T_SUMMARY##& <--- &T_SUMMARY##&.
But when i am tryin to add my table in binding as, &TRIP& --> &T_MILEAGE##&,
I am getting a binding error, &T_MILEAGE##& is not available in the container.
I checked the container both in workflow and in task, both contain multiple devlarations of the variable &TRIP& which is of type the BO.
Kindly help me how to proceed further.

why do you want to store data in HTML format. The entier trip detail is availble in PDF format which can used as an attachment. This is not the correct way to do it.

It dawned on me what the problem was, in my Actionscript, I am using a XML sheet to call the pictures in the gallery. The XML sheet is located in the same folder as the actionscript, but not in the same folder as the html page, hence the Flash working when it is directly called but not when it is somewhere else. Once this dawned on me, I remembered that I used "short" urls for the images thinking of them all being in the same folder as the actionscript, but not thinking about their relative link from the location of the HTML page. So, I believe that if I change the relative urls to fit the location of the HTML instead of the location of the SWF page, it should work.

Binary content within KM Report.

<b>Short Description:</b> I trying to have a Image show up in KM report. Is there a way to add binary data to KM Reports?
<b>Long Description:</b> My KM Report shows disk space consumption by various repositories. I now want to add a column that would display Red if the Disk space consumption exceeds a particular threshold. For this I want to display an Image within the report.
Any ideas?

Hi,
When I try to create a KM Property (System Administration > System Configuration > Knowledge Management > Content Management > Global Services > Property Metadata > Properties), there is a Type field. Among others it has a property called "HTML". I was hoping to use that in rendering a image or coloring a cell within report display.
Is this line of thought correct?
If so, can someone provide me direction with how to create a property within my report implementation with this type.

Displaying swf fonts, not working

In Adobe Shockwave Flash player object, are there any known differences between version 12.0.0.77 and 12.0.0.44 with regards to displaying swf fonts, in Internet Explorer? We have seen a variety of issues with almost all versions. We had 12.0.0.77 installed and the fonts were displayed quite improperly - very Large - , and then we downgraded to 12.0.0.44 and it worked, displaying the fonts properly. Then it upgraded to 12.0.0.77 and it worked again.
This happens in Internet Explorer, all versions. We have a heavy install on IE8 where we see if most.
What changes between the two versions would cause this?
What connections are required between the client and the server, if any?
In the page source, these transformations are triggered in statements similar to this one:

Any idea what may cause such odd, inconsistent behaviour?

This is a flash or shockwave font, no real development involved I believe. The fact is it worked for years, then Adobe did an upgrade on the Object and it did not work. So just wondering what may have caused this in the release on the updated object.
It also does not work in Firefox, Chrome etc, as these browsers act as if it's not enabled. So it seems like there is a handshake that is not being addressed, access to the server-side font for example.
The font stopped working because of the change in the client side Object, not with anything on the server, development-wise.
In several places, in some companies, IE accounts for 100% of the browsers. And in some of those places IE8 may account for close to 100% of those installs. To dismiss a query because it involves IE is not really helpful, or constructive.
Are there any dependencies on the Object running and the server presenting the material, or could it be rights within the browser environment that may have changed (running javascript with prpoer permissions for example)?

Displaying the contents of internal table- in email Step of workflows

Hello Folks,
I wanted to display the contents of an internal table ( would contain a list of opportunites ), in an email sent throught the workflow:
My idea was to LOOP AT <ITAB> into <WA> from an external program and then call the workflow for each content of the <WA>. This will be a problem as, if there are like 1000 records in the internal table, then workflows will be called 1000 times...sending 1000 emails..
My requirement is that we need to send a single email to the single person, displaying the content of the internal table in the email body......
My question
1) Is this scenario possible through worflows ?
2) If not, please provide an alternative ..

Do you mean to say that just by inserting the multiline element
within the body of the 'Send email' step type, the contents
of the multiline element is displayed automatically without
we having to loop at it somehow ?
Follow the below apporach,
1. First create a multiline container element in the workflow conatiner.
2. Populate the internla table , by using the bor methods and pass back the populated ITAB to the WF by using the binding concept.
3. Now create a mail step in the workflow, you have the option of inserting the workflow container elements into the mail conten, so insert the multiline container element , then it prompts to select the option like a) Do you liek to display only first line b) Display the ITAB line by line c) Display ITAB lines continuously with out line break.
4. based upon the requirement select any one of the options.
Note: Make sure the line length of the ITAB won't excced 132 charecters, because the send mail step will consider only 132 characters.
