Display tree node data in bold characters

Hi,
I have a requirement where I need to display tree nodes data in bold characters. If I click on a particular tree node, next time it should appear in normal font only which means that some task had done using that tree node. Is my question clear??
Plz help me....
thanks,
ravindra.

Hi Ravindra,
I think it is possible, i have not done it but let me explain how we can do it.
In <htmlb:treeNode> tag there is an attribute 'text' in
which we specify title of that treeNode.
Now you define a page attribute 'treeNodeTitle' type
edpline and in onCreate assign it value <html><b>MyTreeNode</b></html>
When you click on this node then you do event handling
in onInputProcessing, there assign only 'MyTreeNode' to
treeNodeTitle.
sample code may look like this...
<htmlb:treeNode
  id = 'treeNode1'
  text = '<%=treeNodeTitle %>' >
</htmlb:treeNode>
Page Attribute
treeNodeTitle type edpline
in onCreate
treeNodeTitle = '<html><b>MyTreeNode</b></html>'
in onInputProcessing
in event-handling code for that treeNode write
treeNodeTitle = 'MyTreeNode'
I hope this will work.

  • How to persist parent  and child tree node data through JSF and Hibernate

    Dear dudes,
    I'm a novice to JSF and Hibernate
    Actually i want to create a tree structure where for each child node, i should have the parent node reference in my form and then when i save, i need to save the corresponding child node data in the database.
    node-1
      node 1-1
         node 1-11a
      node 1-2
    node-2
       node 2-1
       node2-2Whenever i click node 1-1 the corresponding parent node ( node-1) reference should appear in my form and when i save this data this data should be saved under parent node and the tree should be re-rendered.
    How this can be accomplished and if there are any URL's please refer.

    Hi,
    When you delete a node and all of its children, what do you want to do with the grandchildren? If you want to set their parent_id to NULL, do that in a separate UPDATE statement first, then DELETE the original node and all its remaining descendants, as show below.
    If, when you say "children", you mean "descendants" (including
    children,
    children of children,
    children of children of children,
    and so on, to any level,
    ) then do a CONNECT BY query to find their primary keys, and DELETE everything in that list, like this:
    DELETE  subforms
    WHERE   id  IN
            SELECT  id
            FROM    subforms
            START WITH        id = :specified_id
            CONNECT BY  PRIOR id = parent_id
            );

  • Display Tree node label/title on page

    I'm using Apex version 4.
    I have a tree and I want to display (below the tree) the label or title of the node value that's selected.
    So my tree query is like:
    SELECT (case when connect_by_isleaf = 1 then 0 when level = 1 then 1 else -1 end) status,
    level,
    office_name title,
    null icon
    How can I display the office_name on my report page below the tree? Can I somehow capture the value selected in a page item and then display that page item below the tree?
    Thanks.

  • Netscape using plugin doesn't display Japanese characters in a tree node

    Hi,
    I have a problem displaying a swing tree node name in Japanese. The problem only occurs on Netscape browsers. When I run the same applet with Internet Explorer, all the Japanese displays correctly. Now, with Netscape, the node name is displayed in little rectangle characters but the tooltip is displayed in Japanese. I don't believe I have any problem with the Java code because it works with IE.
    I am using the java 1.3.1_01 plugin on a Windows NT machine that has a Japanese OS. I've also installed Japanese versions of Netscape. Also, Netscape is able to display my help files in Japanese correctly, so I am wondering if the problem is with the java plugin.
    Any clues?
    Many thanks

    Found the problem. I set a font type of Arial. It's best to set the type to MS Gothic, or dont' set it at all so the system default font is used.

  • Displaying data in tableview on click of a tree node

    Hi,
    I am new to BSP. I created a tree structure having the tablenames as tree nodes, and now if I click on a node I want to display corresponding table data in a tableview. How can I acheive this....??
    Thanks in advance,
    Ravindra.

    Hi Ravindra,
    You can achieve this by reading the node clicked OnInput Processing and You can assign name of your table in "onNodeClick" attribute .
    then onInputprocessing you can read the name of your table from
    "event->server_event" .
    Check this sample code .
    ****************OnLayout*******************************
    <htmlb:content design="design2003">
      <htmlb:page title = " ">
        <htmlb:form>
            <htmlb:tree     id          = "myTree1"
                             title       = "Tree"
                             tooltip     = "Tooltip for myTree1">

  • Displaying the entire text of a tree node when the tree isnt wide enough

    Hi,
    I have a JTree displayed in a JScrollPane, so there is a chance that some of the tree data may be hidden if the tree's width is insufficient, so when the user moves the cursor over a tree node whose text is not completely visible (cut off by the right edge of the scroll pane and/or window), a tooltip is displayed to show the entire node text. So far so good!
    If the user double click a node in the tree a new window is supposed to be opened. This works fine if the tooltip hasnt been displayed jet, but if it has then the user has to click 3 times to open the window.
    The first time to remove the tooltip and the next 2 opens the window.
    How can I awoid this?
    Thanks!!!!
    :-)Lisa

    Any ideas, please?

  • WHEN-TREE-NODE-SELECTED need 2 Execute-Query on Master-Detail data block

    I optimize tree using this link
    http://andreas.weiden.orcl.over-blog.de/article-29307730.html_+
    For huge amount of data (Accountings)
    All i need for now is
    WHEN-TREE-NODE-SELECTED need 2 Execute-Query on the data block
    DECLARE
    htree ITEM;
    node_value VARCHAR2(100);
    BEGIN
    IF :SYSTEM.TRIGGER_NODE_SELECTED = 'TRUE' THEN
    -- Find the tree itself.
    htree := FIND_ITEM ('BL_TREE.IT_TREE');
    node_value := FTREE.GET_TREE_NODE_PROPERTY( htree, :SYSTEM.TRIGGER_NODE ,  ftree.node_value  );
       GO_BLOCK ('GL_ACCOUNTS');
       set_block_property('GL_ACCOUNTS', DEFAULT_WHERE , 'ACCOUNT_ID ='|| node_value  );
    EXECUTE_QUERY;
    END IF;
    END;The above code is working fine 4 the detail block which is *'GL_ACCOUNTS'*
    when i substitute is Master block which is 'GL_ACCOUNTS_TYPES' it doesn't display all data
    Help is Appriciated pls.

    Hello
    In WHEN-TREE-NODE-SELECTED i modified the following code :_
    DECLARE
            htree ITEM;
           node_value VARCHAR2(100);
           parent_node FTREE.NODE;
    BEGIN
      IF :SYSTEM.TRIGGER_NODE_SELECTED = 'TRUE' THEN
      -- Find the tree itself.
      htree := FIND_ITEM ('BL_TREE.IT_TREE');
      -- Get the parent of the node clicked on.
                  parent_node := FTREE.GET_TREE_NODE_PARENT ( htree, :SYSTEM.TRIGGER_NODE );
           GO_BLOCK('GL_TYPES');
                set_block_property('GL_TYPES', DEFAULT_WHERE , 'TYPE_ID ='|| parent_node  );
                  EXECUTE_QUERY;
      -- Get the detail of the parent node
          node_value := FTREE.GET_TREE_NODE_PROPERTY( htree, :SYSTEM.TRIGGER_NODE ,  ftree.node_value  );
               GO_BLOCK('GL_ACCOUNTS');
               set_block_property('GL_ACCOUNTS', DEFAULT_WHERE , 'ACCOUNT_ID ='|| node_value  );
                   EXECUTE_QUERY;
          END IF;
    END;
    FRM-40350 : Query caused no records to be retrieved but i have records in the data base ...!
    Well, Do u think that's because in ur package i retrieve only the detail block ?
