Displaying a website inside a website

Is there a way to display a website (example adobe.com) inside your Flash website?
Looking for something similar to HTML inline frames
<iframe> src="adobe.com" height="200" width="300" </iframe>

The only place I can think of where Flash will render html is in a textbox with the "render as html" option selected. I don't know if it will render all the html markup that would comprise an entire page, though.....

Safari doesn't display some title text on websites properly...

Hi, I get strange problems on Safari. Safari doesn't display title text on some websites. It is replaced with some mathematical fonts like small numbers, figures and etc... But it happens to only title text. All other body text is fine. I thought fonts caused this issue, then I checked duplicated ones and deleted related files from preferences, cleared cache, reset Safari and rebooted. However I didn't get any luck...
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

You haven't given enough details to reproduce or attempt a solution. What website(s) are you visiting that exhibit this problem, and when did it start? Have you tried setting up a new user account and testing those sites in that account? Did you attempt to visit those sites using another browser such as Camino or Firefox to see if the problem manifests itself in either of those?

I am seeing links appear inside my website that I did not create. This problem is not occurring with IE9 - just firefox. How can I prevent someone from putting these strange links in my site.

Someone is putting links inside my website - I did not create these links and do not have any idea who has put them on my index page. How can this be prevented and how can the links be removed. I have overwritten the files but that does not help. This problem does not happen with IE9 or any other browser, I only see these links when I use firefox to load my site (prevailingword.net)

I'm seeing nothing on the main page or are they on one of the other pages?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.<br />

Can I open a new website inside a lightbox?

I'm struggeling with how to setup the best eCommerce plan in Muse for my customer. I think I will go for Shopify's soulution because they have the right payment gateway for me as an scandinavian ... Wazala has only paypal. But I really want to integrate the Shopify url inside muse so that when the user press a SHOP NOW button a lightbox opens with the Shopifypage within .... is this possible?
The sad thing is that I don't think I can implement the HTML code like you can with the Wazala soulution.

That is an interesting idea, however shopfly is pretty much an all in one solution so trying to put an ecommerce website into another website is pretty much redudant. Wazala is a little different because it isn't a complete ecommerce website. It is an embeddable shop. You can also try cashiecommerce.com. It is free to use and try and allows a lot of customization for embedding into Muse. There is also Ecwid.com.

Website within a website

In order to view a new website on the internet that I am
creating, I have put the whole website file in a folder within an
existing website. Both websites have templates and files with the
same names. The only difference is the new website is in a file
called redesign. Will this create a problem for me? .

You can publish your second website to a folder and change the name of the index.html file to nameofwebfolder.html.
Upload these to your server and place them inside the main folder.
You can have this operating as a separate site or hide the default iWeb navigation and build your own and include this sub site in it.

They are not linked. The sub site is named Satellite and the first page is named PlanetRoddySatellite so you can see how the URL is created.
When I publish the site "Satellite" to a folder, I change the name of the index.html file to Satellite.html.
I have just built a site using 9 separate domain files. This is so that I can update each section and publish it easily. All the sections are linked by a common navigation menu and each section has its own sub navigation menu.
If you are really alert, you will see that there are only eight sections in the main navigation. The ninth domain file contains a promo package with a player and a PDF download which is reached from the appropriate section of the site and set to open in a new window.

Is this as clear as mud? All this may seem very complicated but it saves my sanity when correcting the many errors and updating.

I can't connect to the itunes store and have some problems with other websites. Some websites load OK. I had the same problem on my iPad and changed the DNS, but don't want to do this on my iMac, anyway, surely I should have my router's DNS?

I can't connect to the iTunes store from my iMac and have problems loading a number of other websites, however some websites load perfectly well. I have had the iTunes store issue on my iPad and resolved it by changing the DNS but surely I should use the DNS for my router. I don't really want to change it for the iMac as I access secure sites with it to internet shop.
Any ideas, I was going to try loading Chrome but can't get it without going through the iTunes store. Anyway, that is treating the symprom not the cause.

Open System Preferences/Network. Double click on your connection type, or select it in the drop-down menu, and in the box marked 'DNS Servers' add the following two numbers:

Displaying a cfreport inside a cfwindow

I am trying to display a cfreport inside a cfwindow rather
than in an external window, but all that is being displayed inside
the window when it is called is gibberish. As far as I know, and as
per Firebug, I am sending the correct content type, but it's still
not working. Am I fighting a battle I can't win? Or is it more of a

Thare are always some strange website or advertisement website come out. Why?

When I surf the internet, every time when I click some thing, some strange website or advertisement website will come out, which I never opened. How to deal with this problem???

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed the "Downlite" or "VSearch" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the support article, you may also need to remove this item in the same way:
~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ConduitNPAPIPlugin.plugin
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
The problem may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. If there is an item with that name in the Applications folder, delete it, and if you wish, replace it with the genuine article from mplayerx.org.
This malware is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. If Google has already indexed your site, it will keep checking your site, but make sure you update sitemap in google webmaster tools, if you have some new pages in new site, google will index them and if you have some pages renamed or removed asked google to remove it. Sort of. It will show domains for sites associated with websites you have been to, particularly if images or cookies have been distributed from them. This is common for sites with ads.

Websites inside iframes?

i already have the layout for the website that i am making and have been successful at using iframes to put web pages within my layout. i have two questions:
1. when i make the iframe another website, it loads very slowly. why is that? for instance, something like "<iframe src="http://cnn.com" </iframe>, cnn.com would appear much slower than the rest of the layout.
2. let's say the iframe is cnn.com. would there be any way of making it load into my website without the cnn.com header and ads? what if i wanted it to just start off with stories? maybe it's impossible, i dunno.

As mentioned previously - merely a question of the order in which iframes are loaded. Each request inside the iframe will enforce a check on the parent page, possibly even refreshes, slowing down things considerably. Also your blog may use additional overhead because it needs to check more complex referrers. Anyway, as the others said - it's not particularly good design for security and other reasons. If you really must display blog content on a normal site, it is much better to work with includes and adjust the PHP code.

Try troubleshooting extensions and third party plugins.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

FF 4 (mac) doesn't display handcursor in all Flash websites. Also all html websites show strange behaviour with cursor. (blinking cursor in nearby div after clicking a button)

I'm running Mac OS 10.6
FF4 doesn't display the hand cursor or type cursor in '''all''' flash websites on links/textfieldss when it should. Highly annoying and disgracing all flashcontent.
Also with html websites I experienced strange cursor behaviour with FF4. Although it's hard to reproduce the problem. It's very inconsistent.
I have the feeling in general FF4 should look into it's cursor behaviour on all possible platforms. Mainly Flash.

I replicated the typing cursor problem on the popular FB. Just click e.g. "x people like this", you'll see you get a blinking type cursor in the "close" button.
